Chapter 428. Anger (2)
Chapter 428: 428. Anger (2)
"The common leader is dead?" Mr. Davis’ cousin was not very surprised.
The two leaders who rise in fame due to relying on their influence on the people were actually not very strong. They were only slightly stronger than other people due to some chances and after they had obtained their position, they enjoyed a lot of wealth and so on.
Their time of practice, even with the increased resources, were actually not much faster than when they were not the leaders. Because as a leader, there were a lot of things that they had to do.
It was impossible to devote their entire time to practice.
One of the two leaders have already left before the attack of these big mutated animals, but Mr. Davis’s cousin knew that their ending was not good from his daughter. So he didn’t pay much attention to them and even felt that they were a joke when they asked to travel to City C.
They were so stupid to think that such a long distance could be crossed.
In normal times, such a distance was only a few hours of cars or other transportation mode. But with these big mutated animals appearing on the road, who could say for sure that they would be able to reach City C in time?
Thus, Mr. Davis’s cousin didn’t care for them.
As for their death...
Even his daughter had told him that the second one would die during the attack of these big mutated animals.
Now, the time has hastened, but the end result was still the same.
It just showed how much of a waste they were.
There was no need for him to waste his time thinking and paying attention to these two people.
Now, the most urgent matter was to deal with the strange big mutated animal that was released. Without any leaders or those in power dealing with it, they wouldn’t be able to deal with it at all.
"I’ll go there," Mr. Davis could only answer this way.
He took the liquid medicine and drank it quickly as he made his way. Thankfully, he still has some of these liquid medicine from the research institute left.
Even if he didn’t want to fight these strange big mutated animals, he had to put on a show that he was willing to do this.
Because this was the only way he could possibly keep his position.
Unless he was so strong that he could surpasss everyone else, he had to abide by the rules and played along with the rules that had been set up.
Beside Mr. Davis, Mr. Davis’ cousin could only sigh and also followed along. He had prepared several bottles of these medicines since his daughter warned him that there might be some variables.
Thankfully, they were all prepared.
Now, the question was... how about the end result of the other battlefield?
Would it be the same as what his daughter had predicted in advance?
Mr. Davis’s cousin was curious, but he would wait until the entire battle with these big mutated animals was over before asking. Hopefully, the strange big mutated animal would leave soon after they were done wreaking havoc and the smell from the research institute was gone.
...
Other Side, Mason Family
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The big mutated animals were still attacking and at this time, Sean was looking at the sea of big mutated animals with despair on his face.
There were two strange big mutated animals coming on their frontline this time, which made them unable to cope up for a while. The only one who could possibly defeat them was his father, who was also very powerful.
And what he could do was to help.
Help his father blocked these strange big mutated animals.
He tried his best to fight against the strange big mutated animal but he was almost died and it took a lot of effort.
Now, these big mutated animals started receding.
But Sean couldn’t feel happy.
Fire and lightning crackled around his body, smashing the big mutated animals around him to their death in an instant. His raging emotions along with despairs and sadness were permeating.
And these big mutated animals bore the brunt of his unstable emotions as Sean couldn’t hold it back.
"Damn it!"
Bang!
Explosion of both fire and lightning element exploded, causing more chain reactions around the big mutated animals around him. None of these big mutated animals dared to come near him.
And as their clarity towards the dull powder attraction slowly disiipated, these big mutated animals no longer attacked City A Base so fiercely and instead slowly backed away. They understood that even if they were here, they had no chance.
Not mentioning Sean’s ability that was raging, these big mutated animals were not very powerful either.
"Young Master, please calm down!"
The other people from Mason Family looked at Sean and tried their best to stop the young master from wasting his ability. Even if he was angry, but he couldn’t turn himself into a cripple with this incident.
These big mutated animals were dying indeed.
But there was no need for Sean to make a move personally.
They could be killed by the others around.
Sean looked at the people behind him and hummed in a low voice before slowly taking a breath. He’s angry, he’s frustrated, and all, but he knew no matter what he did, he couldn’t resurrect the dead.
He could only accept this and move on.
Because the living still has to continue to live, no matter how painful it was.
"I’m going back, you clean up," Sean finally gave this order and turned around. The big mutated animals were already retreating and Sean wanted to find out the real reason for the riot.
Since they calmed down, the cause should be solved and there might be people who knew the reasons. But it might take him some time to figure it out because he had no clue about how these big mutated animals could become so crazy.
