"How many adjustments are there?" Anna asked.

"There are a lot adjustments made in the soil to make sure that it’s working better. We also adjust the decomposition rate and the number of mutated animals’ corpse put inside," Professor Black explained.

Anna nodded.

"Now that you’ve helped us, do you have any request?" Professor Black asked.

He knew that there was no way Anna came here just to help them. While it was good to have her help them a bit, but it was unlikely for Anna to come here every single day to help them.

She was not a person who liked to stay in the research institute or anything like that.

"About this...." Anna turned to look at Dylan.

Dylan stepped forward and asked about whether it was possible for them to ask for a place to rent in the central area. It doesn’t have to be a mansion, even an apartment was fine. The main purpose was to enter the central area so that they didn’t have to face many unwanted people.

"That’s my plan," Alicia replied and turn to look at Derek. "Do you want to go out too? It has been a while since you have a break."

Derek shook his head. "I can’t really go out right now."

"Why not?"

"Because..."

"Excuse me," a guard came with a troubled expression. "Miss Brenda Felicia Davis has just come and she’s looking for you, Mr. Derek."

Hearing this name, Derek’s face darkened. For some reasons, Brenda has been coming to the research institute to look for Derek in the past few weeks. She would come either in the afternoon or in the evening just to find him.

But Derek always told the guard to say that he was busy and had no time to meet with her.

Dylan didn’t have much interaction with her.

But his uncle told him to be wary of Brenda.

Because of that, it would be better for them not to have too much interactions with these people who has strange and weird abilities.
