Anna and Dylan were having their quality time and Kitty squatted on the basin with resentful expression. He was just trying to ask for more food from Dylan, but after he accidentally pulled Dylan a bit too hard, he was punished to squat in the bathroom.

And afterwards, he started to hear those indescribable sounds again.

Kitty felt that being a cat is really difficult.

He kept on being locked out by Anna and Dylan from time to time.

"Meow."

Kitty jumped to the windowsill that was located a bit high and looked outside. The snow was lessening and Kitty could guess that there might be more mutated animals becoming active during this period of time.

They didn’t come out because of the snowstorm.

After all, except for some animals whose habitat was that of snowy lands, they would not be able to survive such severe snowstorm.

They all had to find a place to rest.

It was estimated that the main reason why there were many mutated animals coming out before the snowstorm arrived was because these mutated animals wanted to gather more food for themselves.

The next day, Kitty looked at the opened door and Dylan who came with resentment. "MEOW!"

You’re locking me in this damn bathroom for the entire night! Just what the hell did you do to forget about me?

"Sorry Kitty, I really forget about you." Dylan patted the cat’s head.

"Meow!" Kitty was still annoyed and slapped Dylan’s head. The bathroom was not as comfortable as his bed. Though, he used his towel as his bed this time. There were three towels hanging in the bathroom with one of them belong to him.

Kitty might not like bathing, but Anna liked clean cat. So Kitty could only unwillingly have a bath from time to time.

The towel was used at that time.

Now, this towel ended up becoming Kitty’s bed for the night because Dylan forgot that he was locked here.

"I’ll cook you more food, ok?" Dylan coaxed the cat.

"Meow." That will do.

Kitty snorted and then trotted outside. He looked around but didn’t see Anna anywhere. He guessed that she was still sleeping because this often happened lately. He didn’t understand why Anna was very tired, but since she needed more sleep, then he simply let her be.

Of course, the one who knew the reason would never explain it to the cat.

Dylan washed up and then walked out of the bathroom again. "Don’t disturb Anna. She’s a bit tired this time."

"Meow." Kitty glared at Dylan. The one who often bothered Anna was not him but Dylan, ok?

Dylan smiled and then looked outside. His eyes narrowed slightly when he saw the clear sky and then took his jacket and walked out. As his ability become even more stronger, his sensitivity towards temperature had dropped.

It was more like, most cold would not be able to bother him. Even if he was thrown in the middle of the freezing lake and had to swim, it was estimated that he wouldn’t be able to feel much.

He had said this to Anna and she told him that it might be the side effect of his ability.

He was slowly but surely become ’immune’ towards cold.

On the other hand, Anna said that she felt that she had become closer and closer to the plants. It was to the point that she was able to sense more of their feelings. Even if it was only the simplest one, Anna could start to be able to talk to these plants.

They would understand her words as long as she explained things simply.

It was amazing.

"I’ll deal with the snow first." Dylan walked out and looked around.

"Meow~." Kitty nodded and trotted to follow Dylan. He had been bored to death when it was snowing heavily because he couldn’t get out at all. Now that the weather had become clear, it was time for him to go out!

Maybe he could also hunt?

But thinking that the snow outside the area was still piled up like crazy, Kitty ceased the idea. His body was small and he didn’t want to be buried in the snow when he was making his way out.

That would be too embarrassing.

Dylan moved the snow around them outside their small base. As for how much the snow had piled up in the direction of the forest, it seemed to have formed a small hill. Dylan didn’t really care, though.

It was not like they were planning to go in that direction anytime soon.

"Meow." Kitty suddenly turned his head to the front.

Dylan also stopped in his track. One of his ability that he had obtained after his ability advanced was the strong sensory ability as long as one stepped on the snow. Because the snow around him felt as if the extension of his ability.

So this kind of terrain where there were so many snow around him was simply the best for him.

He was sure that Anna could do the same thing with plants, though. But since many plants were dying in this season, it was not really possible for Anna to do it.

Earth element should also be able to sense it as long as one stepped on top of the ground. Wind element should be based on the sound and wind movements around them.

Only the fire and lightning element that Dylan was not entirely sure. Because he was sure that it would be really hard to create a large environment filled with only fire or lightning elements.

"There are people coming." Dylan frowned and looked in the distance.
