Chapter 271. Wronged
Chapter 271: 271. Wronged
The woman heard Dylan’s words and her eyes lit up. "Did you finally remember me?"
"An annoying girl from Davis Family," Dylan answered and looked at the woman in front of him lightly. He didn’t remember her name because he didn’t want to. In his opinion, she was not very important, not at all.
"I’m Tasha Davis!" the woman introduced herself again with gnashed teeth. She looked at Anna beside Dylan and then asked, "Why do you stay with such a wasteful person like her? These jades are nothing more than stones now. It’s better to buy more important thing."
"I don’t care." Dylan glanced at the woman. "She’s happy and I’m willing to fulfill her."
Tasha snorted and crossed her arms, looking at the two people in front of her irritably.
"You haven’t answered my question. Don’t tell me that you have turned into a stalker now, Ms. Davis." Dylan looked at Tasha sharply.
Feeling his unkind gaze, Tasha snapped and yelled, "Who would follow you all day long? Do you think I have nothing to do? This market is my family’s area of jurisdiction and I’m one of the few people who’s in charge here!"
Anna heard her words and arched her eyebrows.
It’s Davis Family’s territory?
From the way Tasha said it, it seemed as if this market belonged to Davis Family instead of the base. She looked at the countless stalls and seemed to understand something.
As long as these sellers used the stalls, they had to pay a certain amount of contribution points to the guards. And these guards were all working for the Davis Family, which meant that they all could earn a lot of contribution point each day.
She also highly doubted that they would share what they obtained to the other people. Even if they did share, it would only be a percentage of what they obtained. In this way, they could earn more contribution points than the others.
And Anna guessed that the one who issued the contribution point had to be someone from other family.
Because only in this way would the situation stabilize.
No wonder the situation inside was not very peaceful.
This Davis Family swallowed a lot of contribution points and the other families might also do some tricks behind the back. They were all maintaining balance on the surface and good relationship but ghost know how the back is.
"I see. In that case, I’ll leave you to your work and didn’t disturb you, Ms. Davis." Dylan nodded at Tasha and then nodded at Anna.
Anna glanced at Dylan and then looked at the other jade in the stall. She had indeed take the good jade just now, but she wanted to take a look at it more.
"I can take a look of it, right?"
"Sure." The stall owner nodded generously. Towards this customer who bought 5 all at once, he was very generous.
"What color do you like?" Dylan looked at these colorful jade and asked Anna. For him, the differences between these jades were only their color.
"Hmm, I’m thinking about it." Anna turned the jade, trying to see if she was lucky to find any good one again. But looking at it, these were all low level jade that was not very useful. After turning a few times, Anna wanted to shake her head when she saw Tasha was already standing there.
"Miss, do you want to buy jade?" The stall owner asked with a smile. He knew Anna and this woman had some conflicts with Anna, but what he cared more was about profit.
Tasha looked at the stack of stones on the table with a frown and then said, "Pack them all up. I want them all."
"Miss, are you sure?" The stall owner was astonished.
"Yes!" Tasha gritted her teeth fiercely. Isn’t it just some contribution points? She will buy everything that these two wanted to buy.
Her family was rich and she herself had much more contribution points because her father arranged for most of the profit to enter their pocket. Hmph!
"The total is 1350 contribution points, Miss."
More than 1000?
Tasha felt that her heart was bleeding, but she still paid the money and then looked at Anna victoriously as if saying that she wouldn’t let her buy what she wanted.
’So childish.’
Anna thought to herself in her heart and then held Dylan’s hand and continued to walk. They went to the next jade stall and Anna looked at the jade on the table. These jade was even worse compared to the one before.
Some of them were even glasses and not real jade.
This stall owner might not even know which one is the real one and just tried his luck to sell this.
"Do you want to buy it?" Dylan asked in a low voice.
Anna looked at the old man who was selling the jade and looked at the pile. Well, she can just buy one that was quite good in this pile. This old man was very thin and looked quite miserable.
Anyway, she also wanted to find some jade.
So Anna started to browse.
Less than one second, Tasha stepped forward and said that she would buy it all. The old man was stunned and Anna looked at Tasha but was too lazy to check and then walked away to find other stores.
Dylan felt that Tasha was annoying, but he couldn’t prevent others from following him. This was still their family’s territory and it was not like he could prevent Tasha from going around the market.
And then Tasha didn’t stop at all.
As long as Anna showed a little fancy to something, Tasha will buy it. In the end, she spent more than 10,000 contribution points and it was still rising.
Anna’s lips twitched when she saw Tasha was not giving up.
It was the stall owner that benefited and thus, their story was told. These stall owners became much more enthusiastic when they saw Anna because they felt that as long as Anna showed some interest, then they could sell everything.
