Chapter 183: 183. Pet Store

She only picked some medicine that she deemed to be useful from the counter and didn’t take too much. After all, Dylan and Mark would be suspicious if these things disappeared.

Besides, she felt her head throb a bit, so she stopped.

There was no need to be so greedy.

Anna walked to the storage room and saw Dylan and Mark were in front of a large fridge. The content of the fridge was some medicine that actually needed cold temperature or to keep it safe.

Because of the flood, this fridge was technically out of power.

So some medicine can’t be used anymore.

But there were still some things that could be used, which Mark and Dylan selectively select and put into their backpack.

"How is it?" Anna asked.

"There are a lot of them," Dylan replied with a grin. "Our first backpack is full. How about you?"

"It’s also full, but I still brought the second bag and also plastic bags to take Kitty’s food," Anna replied.

"I also brought additional bag." Mark stood up. "The rest of the medicine have turned bad. Even if they still have some medical properties, there will be bigger risk when taking them."

"Indeed." Dylan nodded and stood up.

They felt a bit bad for leaving these medicines here, but it was impossible to bring everything back. Well, they could go back and forth to the car and put some items into the truck and trunk first.

Anyway, they have spare bags there.

"Shall we go back first and then return?" Anna suggested.

She looked at the pile of medicine and shook her head.

Even if her space could filter the dirt from the medicine, she could do nothing about the medicine that their own materials had turned bad. After all, Anna was not a master in chemistry and couldn’t really do anything to these medicines to turn them into good again.

Unless she knew how to break down each molecule...

She couldn’t even see them, so Anna put down her thoughts and looked at the others.

"I’ll bring the three bags down first and you two head to the pet store first," Mark said. "I’ll go back to catch up later."

"Ok, let’s do it this way."

Mark took the three bags and made his way down while Dylan and Anna walked around to find the pet store. The dirt in the fourth floor was not very thick, but it was still present. They had to work harder to read the names of the store before finding the place.

It was also locked, so Dylan smashed the door open and entered.

This time, the food packages were put on the sleeves behind a glasses shelves. It was also locked and sealed.

Looking at the unbroken package, Dylan packed it all.

Anna went to check the counter and found a lot of canned cat food. She also put them all away inside her bag and then put them in the plastic bags.

"Kitty will be very happy to see a lot of food for him."

"Yeah. Nowadays, cat lived better than human." Dylan shook his head and laughed lightly. He felt that as Kitty’s owner, he was actually not any better than the cat in terms of living. Even, he has to be the one to pay more attention to the cat’s diet.

*Sigh*

It was not easy to be the owner of a cat.

"Is there anything else you want to take?" Anna looked around. She saw some toys but there were more toys inside her space, so she didn’t take them. If Kitty really wanted to play, she would take out some for him later.

Dylan looked around and then replied, "Some vitamins for cat and also cat litter."

"Ah... I thought Kitty is using your bathroom?" Anna looked at Dylan in confusion. She didn’t think that Kitty would still need to use cat litter.

"It’s useful."

"There are a lot of packages here."

"Let me take them."

"Ok."

Looking around, Anna put some of the cat food into her space, but this time, she didn’t remove the dirt first.

First of all, her ’mental strength’ was estimated to be not enough, which had caused her head to throb not long ago. She didn’t want to overestimate herself and put herself in danger just for the sake of these things.

It was not worth it.

’Maybe I should have put more medicines into the space and remove their dirt later?’

Anna thought about it.

In any case, she put the stack of cat food and cat litter in the far away corner from the others. This way, they would not touch other things inside her space and could be put out easily later.

After she had cleaned it later, she would put them in another group.

Anyway, her space was so big that Anna felt that she was putting up a large mall inside her mind.

"Done?"

"Yes. Shall we return to the pharmacy to wait for Mark?" Anna asked.

Dylan thought about it and nodded. This pet store was located a bit away from the escalator, which was unlike the pharmacy where it was near the escalator. If they were there, Mark would be able to find them easier.

They returned to the pharmacy and Anna silently put away some things from the shelves to her space.

She didn’t take all of them and only the samples of several types.

This way, others could still take them if they were to go here.

After she was done, she walked to the front again where Dylan was still waiting with the flashlight on.

A flashlight was coming from below and soon they heard Mark’s voice, "Dylan, Anna, where are you?"

"The pharmacy."

"Got it."

Mark walked up, this time with an empty bag behind him. "Lucy is still busy cleaning the wheels and it might take some time. The dirt are quite sticky and without water, it’s a bit hard to remove them."

Dylan nodded. "Let’s go check upstairs."

"Ok."
