Chapter 174. Cleaning Dylan’s Apartment
Chapter 174: 174. Cleaning Dylan’s Apartment
Dylan felt his heart skipped a beat at Anna’s words.
His gaze was looking at Anna intensely as his lips moved. If not because of his strong self control, he would have long blurted out that he liked her too.
But his rationality was suppressing this desire.
He knew very well that Anna was not referring to himself, but she was talking about this behavior.
’Be patient.’
Anna was still laughing and the cat in front of her meowed in protest.
"Meow!" Kitty felt that with Dylan around, Anna never paid him enough attention. Her attention has always been taken by that annoying man again and again. As the proud cat, Kitty felt that he was not being paid enough attention by Anna.
"Yes, yes, Kitty." Anna patted Kitty’s back and then turned to look at Dylan with a smile. "It wouldn’t be appropriate to ask for it now. Let’s wait until these two had already entered the military."
Bringing two civilians were different with bringing four civilians. It would be better for them to wait until Mark and Lucy had already entered the military and become part of the military.
Anyway, it was only a few days away.
And they were not in a hurry to check the lake.
Even if the lake sounded interesting and piqued their curiosity, they hadn’t forgotten that the most important thing for them right now was to survive and live well.
Resources were scarce outside and if they couldn’t make sure that their lives were sustained, how could they think about other things?
Not to mention, it was a bit tiring to go out again and again.
This period of time was the critical time period for them to collect resources, so they shouldn’t put their attention on other things.
"Okay." Dylan agreed with a smile.
"By the way, did you not clean up your room? I don’t think Kitty likes the living room." Anna joked.
"Meow~." Kitty meowed as if agreeing with Anna.
Dylan looked at the lazy cat and had the urge to throw the cat out. This damn cat had never helped and now even despised him for not cleaning up the room. He had never contributed and shouldn’t ask so much.
"Don’t ask for his opinion. He can’t help anyway."
"Meow!"
"What? You only know how to sleep on your bed."
"Meow! Meow! Meow!"
The two human and cat quarreled against each other and Anna laughed. They were really hilarious and these two really couldn’t get along with each other. It was a miracle that Dylan was able to take care of Kitty for such a long time when the two of them kept on bickering against each other.
"Come on." Anna patted Kitty’s head.
"Meow~"
Dylan sighed and patted the cat’s head, but the cat hissed at him. Looking at this annoying cat, Dylan had another urge to throw the cat out of his apartment.
"What do you put inside your boxes?" Anna asked, pointing at the boxes. "Also, do you plan to stay here for a long period of time or not?"
"My plan is naturally to stay for a long period of time," Dylan immediately replied.
His grandfather and uncle were all here, so he also wanted to stay in this base. Besides, being able to occupy the position as Anna’s neighbor once more, Dylan would not let go of this chance.
"How about you?"
"Same." Anna thought for a moment and then added, "Do you remember the solar panel from before? Can you help me to arrange it to be connected?"
"Sure." Dylan agreed right away.
"Thank you." Anna smiled brightly.
"No thanks, there’s no need to be so polite between the two of us." Dylan chuckled and then looked at the boxes. "Well, the box containing my clothes have been put into my own room. The rest over here should be the tea from before?"
"Tea boxes?" Anna was stunned. "I thought that your grandfather took them."
"He only took the most precious ones." Dylan only found out about it after he found his grandfather texted him and said that the rest of the teas would be put for him. "And the rest were the furniture we bought from outside not long ago. I hadn’t had the time to clean them up."
Ah right, the furniture.
Anna put hers into her space to deal with it later, so her living room was clean. But Dylan didn’t have such things, so he piled them all up here. No wonder that these boxes were all still packaged very cleanly but they were so messy.
*cough*
Dylan coughed and then added, "I also bought some things from the base. My uncle opened a permission for me in my base’s account.
"You buy things from the base?" Anna asked curiously and then realized something, "Wait, what’s base account?"
"It’s the app that the base developed in order to accommodate the lives of the people here and also to take care of their own things. It’s said that it’ll be used for many things later but for now, the app only contains your basic information and also your account," Dylan replied.
Anna nodded and took out her phone. "Tell me?"
Dylan laughed and then helped Anna to install the application. After that, Anna registered with her account number. This number was naturally the number in her ID card. It was said that every one of them could only register one account and the use of this number is to make sure that no one made the second one.
Anna nodded in understanding and then checked the application. Just like what Dylan said, it contained some of her basic information. Plus, there was the base registration time and her account in the base.
So far, the application couldn’t be used for many things but they said that they would implement it so that the application could also be used to pay with their contribution points.
For the time being, they should settle with the card given to them.
