I'm the Villainess in the Apocalypse -
Chapter 157. Next Plan
Chapter 157: 157. Next Plan
"What’s the next plan?"
"Rent a house," Dylan replied calmly.
"I’m going to stay with your Second Uncle. He’ll pick me up soon," Old Master Daniels said calmly. "Do you want to come along? He’s in the Central District something."
Dylan’s uncle, Darien, was one of the few people who were responsible for the management in the base. This base was still developing and some areas were not perfect yet. However, there were many people who were responsible for it.
One of them was Darien, Dylan’s uncle.
Old Master Daniels didn’t want to stay outside and rely on himself. That talk about doing everything on his own was nothing more than talk. He would still go and enjoy his son’s achievement.
After all, he was no longer young and didn’t have much energy to work hard anymore.
It was time for the younger generation to support him.
Dylan’s uncle had also mentioned that his house was big enough to support more people to stay. Since this person is his own father, he also had no objection in the slightest bit.
"I’ll stay outside." Dylan furrowed his eyebrows. He turned to look at Anna. "Sister Anna, are we going to stay together again?"
Anna was dumbfounded.
She looked at Dylan and shook her head immediately. "No, what do you mean staying together? You’re going to live by yourself and I will live on my own without having much interaction with each other."
"Why?"
"What why? We’re only staying together temporarily in the apartment because there’s no other choice." Anna looked at Dylan with a strange expression.
Besides, she didn’t really want to stay with Dylan all the time. It felt awkward when she thought about her possible interaction with Dylan. She couldn’t be so free with Dylan staying in the same apartment as hers.
In that apartment, she didn’t have much choice because the space was limited. She couldn’t possibly stuff Dylan with Mark and Lucy and destroyed their love nest. But aside from that time, she had no interest to be bumped by Dylan again.
It was a bit cute.
But it was inappropriate.
*cough*
Dylan looked like he was struck by lightning. He looked at Anna with aggrieved expression. "Sister Anna didn’t want me anymore?"
"It’s not that I don’t want you... why is this sound strange?" Anna looked at Dylan and then shook her head quickly. "It’s just a bit inappropriate."
It’s inappropriate.
Hearing this sentence, the others looked at Dylan with a bit of subtle look. It seemed that this brat was really slow and hadn’t confessed to Anna.
In her eyes, he was still the same little brother as he used to be and there was no difference at all.
So she didn’t refuse before.
But asking them to stay together at all time?
Er... that was not suitable.
Mark turned around so as not to show the others his expression. But his shaking shoulders gave out the truth that he was laughing.
Lucy was more gloating as she looked at Dylan.
This brat had this day too.
Dylan felt that his future was dark.
If he knew that he wouldn’t be able to stay in the same apartment as Anna again, then he would not want to move from that apartment. No matter how uncomfortable he was in that place, it was much better than not being able to stay with Anna here.
But Dylan knew that it was not appropriate.
He knew very well that before they made clear about their relationship with each other, it was estimated that Anna would not accept him staying with her in the same apartment anymore.
Dylan was helpless.
He turned to look at his grandfather but saw that his grandfather was gloating at him.
Dylan: "..."
Damn it!
He should know better than to look at his grandfather.
"Then, Sister Anna, can I be your neighbor?" Dylan asked.
Anna looked at Dylan strangely. "Are you not going to stay with your family members? I thought that you pick your grandfather because you want to take care of him."
Dylan: "..."
The pot came from the sky!
He was worried about his grandfather but he had no intention to stay with his grandfather. What age is he right now, still staying with his grandfather at all time?
Dylan didn’t want to.
"There are Uncle Henry and Aunt Tiara who will help my grandfather, so I don’t need to stay with him. Anyway, I usually stay by myself and my grandfather didn’t worry about me," Dylan quickly gave excuse for himself.
Old Master Daniels really wanted to smack his grandson and told him to just confess if he really wanted to stay with Anna right away. But looking at the way his grandson was trying to find excuse, he could only sigh deeply.
His grandson is planted.
And he’s also a coward in front of the girl he liked.
What can he do?
He can only silently support this annoying grandson. Waiting for him to gather his courage, it was estimated that the daylily would be cold. What if someone out there rush forward faster than Dylan and get Anna?
How can he hug his great grandchild?
Old Master Daniels snorted. "I don’t need this brat to take care of me. Anyway, it’s good for him to learn to be independent in this place."
"Then..."
"But I’m more worried about you, Little Anna. You’re staying out there alone by yourself. What if there are bad people who want to hurt you? With my grandson as your neighbor, he can help you when you need it and those eyeless people would not come forward," Old Master Daniels quickly gave a good excuse.
Mark and Lucy silently gave a big thumb up for Old Master Daniels.
Such well founded and eloquent reasoning, it was estimated that only veteran like Old Master Daniels could do it in just a short period of time.
Anna heard Old Master Daniels’ words and fell into silence.
She felt that his words were reasonable but at the same time, she felt a bit strange.
