Chapter 134. Cleaning Up

Chapter 134: 134. Cleaning Up

Anna listened to their reasoning.

She felt that it was very reasonable because they were concerned about Old Master Daniels’ health. But at the same time, she felt that there was something wrong.

She just couldn’t pinpoint what it was.

"How is it, Sister Anna? Do you mind me staying with you?" Dylan asked, his tone was made to be pitiful.

Hearing his tone, Anna felt her heart trembled. She looked at Dylan helplessly. "You know, you’re always welcome inside."

"Thank you, Sister Anna~." Dylan smiled brightly.

Old Master Daniels really wanted to wash his eyes right now. He felt that his grandson really developed a strange attribute that made it hard for him to look at him straight. Thinking about it from another perspective, Old Master Daniels only felt that his eyes were spicy.

He was trying to help his grandson to build better relationship, but he was given such a sight.

*sigh*

Butler Henry smiled faintly when he saw this scene. He had watched Dylan grew up for a long time and naturally knew this young master well. When they were young, he had already seen Dylan pretended in front of Anna.

Back then, he felt it was amusing.

Now that Dylan had grown up, his shameless action seemed to have increased. He seemed as if he didn’t care about his face in the slightest bit.

"Let’s get inside and clean up a bit. We’ll stay here for a few days."

"Yes~."

"Do you want to take a bath first or should I go first?" Anna asked. She sweated so badly that her body felt really uncomfortable. Washing a bit should be fine.

"You first." Dylan knew that Anna felt uncomfortable, so he will let her take a bath first. Anyway, he has long gotten used to be sweating all day from doing various sports during high school break time.

The girls liked to stay in the cool classroom.

The boys liked to go to the court and play.

They couldn’t stay quiet and Dylan was certainly not an exception.

"Ok."

Dylan entered the room and saw that it was still just like how it was when they left back then. He shook his head slightly and started to clean up the room a bit. He went to the storage room and paused a bit.

Some items were missing.

It was no longer as crowded as it was when he searched for the few buckets at the side. They were still there, but he felt a bit confused about the missing items.

After a while, Dylan came out and took out his phone, texting Mark.

Mark and Lucy were both upstairs. They had only arrived just now, so his plan was to tell them later. But since he had some questions, he chose to ask first.

Dylan: Mark, did you take some items from Anna’s storage room.

Mark: Huh? What are you talking about? I don’t have the key to Anna’s apartment and naturally will not be able to take anything from there.

Mark: Besides, it doesn’t belong to me, so I wouldn’t be so presumptuous to take things that doesn’t belong to me.

Mark was online, so he replied immediately.

He was sitting on the sofa, drinking some water after some exercise in the gym. Even though the situation right now was not very good, but he still wanted to maintain his exercise.

For some reasons, he felt that it would be necessary.

Mark: Come again, have you returned?

Dylan: I’m back. I’ll call you and Lucy later for dinner together.

Mark: Great. Lucy has been missing Anna and your little Kitty is not an exception. He’s a little devil who kept on making trouble.

Dylan read the message and was not very surprised.

Kitty only liked Anna and no matter who took care of him wholeheartedly and gave a lot of things, this cat would only remember Anna. Tsk, tsk, tsk, truly a bit white eyed wolf... no, cat.

Shaking his head, Dylan looked at the storage room once more and his eyes narrowed slightly.

There has always been some kind of strange things when he was around Anna.

He guessed that she must be the one who took those items, but he didn’t know where she placed them. This apartment was only so big and so many items were missing, how could he not find any trace at all?

Dylan slowly retracted his gaze.

Anna had a secret.

He knew that.

But he will not pry into it until Anna was ready to tell him. There was no point in thinking about it either because he knew that it wouldn’t be good for him to pester her. If she truly wanted to share it to him in the future, then he will know.

With that in mind, Dylan closed the storage room and took the buckets to the kitchen. There were still several big plastic bags containing rain water that was placed there. He and Anna labeled them so that they would not make a mistake.

He took one and poured some water to wash and clean the buckets.

These buckets might be able to be used to carry either water or other items next.

Once it was done, Dylan washed his hand and started to cook.

When Anna came out, she found Dylan was in the kitchen, cooking rice and some meat on the pan. There were still more than enough oil left, which can be used for a period of time. The condiments were also still a lot.

"Don’t you want to take a bath first before cooking?" Anna asked curiously.

"Sister Anna~, I’m worried that you will be hungry." Dylan chuckled. "The rice is in the rice cooker and it’ll be done in a while. If you’re hungry, you can eat first."

You can eat first?

Hearing his sentence, Anna blinked her eyes. For some reasons, they felt like an old couple who had been living with each other for a long period of time and got along well.
