This right hereIt doesnt get better then this when it comes to regressions. You feel the absoloute lonliness that comes with infinite regression dearly.A truly easy read, no chapter feels like a grind or struggle. My biggest compliment has to be the fact sinnoa makes this feel like a geniune regressor, the refrences to a multitude of artistic works and the fact everything lines up in the end regressions interweved.Phantasmagorical read sensational on the level of LOTM imo
All I’m gonna say is: this is the greatest regression novel of all time. Every single character in this story is peak writing. My absolute favorites? Undertaker and Do-Hwa — they’re just built different.
This novel is simply incredible, it's written in a completely unique way with bite-sized mini-arcs that are told from a reflective point of view. The characters are well written, the world at large is unique, and the anomalies are all so vastly different from one another that it's incredible the author could come up with half the stuff they do. The emotional beats hit well, the major conflicts have SO much hype going into them. It's written by the same author as SSS-Class Suicide Hunter so that should give you a general idea of its peakness. I HIGHLY recommend giving this novel a shot, you won't regret it.
As someone reading too many things at once, it can get hard to remember the plot of some stories. But I love this because it's neatly arranged in arcs that unfold deliciously, and each of them focus on certain events which makes everything more memorable. It's almost like a slice of life, but with a side of post apocalyptic. It also has some action, and a ton of references to other literary works (widely used story tropes) and also cultural references as well. I love the style of writing, because it's immersive imo, I just want to slurp it all up. I don't want to stop reading. I'm already dreading the day it ends. I think the story's really unique because it's just- *chef's kiss*👌 I'm not good at this kinda stuff but it's such a good read!!! Just give it a try, even if it's not to your taste you won't lose anything.
(It's my first review so sorry if I've rambled too much;;)
Same author of SSS-Class Suicide Hunter, his second work.
Very original story indeed. I have never understood how an author can have such good writing and have so little taste with the titles and prefaces of his works.
Definitely worth reading, a fresh breath in the genre.
