‎It was an unusually quiet morning.

‎Zephyr was finally enjoying a peaceful moment on the south tower balcony, sipping lukewarm matcha while a small enchanted duster hovered near his head, politely cleaning cobwebs from the ceiling.

‎‎“This,” he murmured, “is the dream.”

‎Of course, that’s when a dozen wyverns crash-landed on the lawn.

‎At the Academy Entrance…

‎‎A massive flying ship emblazoned with gold sigils descended from the clouds, its sails glowing with light magic. From its deck leapt a girl in radiant white armor — her long pink hair blowing dramatically in the wind, her eyes glowing with purpose.

‎She landed like a hero in a fairy tale, pointing her jeweled spear toward the sky.

‎“I HAVE FOUND YOU, HERO OF PROPHECY!” she shouted at the top of her lungs.

‎‎Students screamed.

‎Faculty ran.

‎‎Zephyr blinked from the balcony, a sandwich halfway to his mouth.

‎‎“…She’s looking this way, isn’t she.”

‎Ten Minutes Later…

‎‎The pink-haired knight girl was kneeling in front of Zephyr, who was holding his mop like a shield and wondering how this kept happening.

‎“My name is Rosalia de Glorieux,” she said, “Captain of the Sacred Valkyries of Arventia.”

‎‎“According to ancient scripture passed down in my country for generations…” she stood, eyes glittering, “you are the chosen one — the prophesied ‘Maidening King’.”

‎‎“…The what now.”

‎“Wielder of the Divine Mop! The One Who Shall Cleanse the World of Chaos!”

‎‎Zephyr blinked.

‎‎“…This world’s prophecy system is broken.”

‎‎Flashback: Rosalia's Prophecy Training

A dusty temple. A glowing crystal. The high priest's trembling voice:

‎"He shall come from another world. Cloaked in rags. Armed with a staff of cleansing. Silent. Mysterious. And devilishly handsome."

Back to the Present…

‎Arwen, Drakynia, and Selena had gathered behind a bush again, peeking in on the rooftop scene.

‎‎“Who is she?” Selena whispered, adjusting her glasses furiously.

‎“Another combat type,” Arwen noted coldly. “Knight. High stats. Buffs.”

‎“She’s already calling him ‘Chosen One,’” Drakynia hissed. “We’re falling behind.”

‎‎They all glared.

‎Then glared at each other.

‎Then glared at Rosalia — who was now trying to polish Zephyr’s mop in reverence.

‎Zephyr, Meanwhile…

‎‎“…Listen, Rosalia, I think there’s been a mistake—”

‎‎“There are no mistakes in fate,” she said dreamily, hugging the mop. “Only glorious destiny.”

‎‎“…Okay but can you let go of the mop. Please. That’s mine.”

‎‎“Even his tone is divine.”

‎And Then…

‎‎An official notice arrived via enchanted pigeon scroll.

‎To: Zephyr Arclight

‎From: The High Council of Velmara Magic Academy

‎Subject: Promotion Offer

‎“Due to recent events, including the neutralization of a fireball attack, subdual of a dragon heiress, successful evasion of student council interrogation, and now, fulfillment of ancient prophecy, the Academy Board offers you the title of ‘Visiting Combat Lecturer & Facilities Manager Supreme.’”

‎‎Zephyr looked at the scroll. Looked at the mop.

‎Then lay down on the floor.

‎“...I was just trying to clean the toilet.”

‎‎End of Chapter 5.
