I Was a Loner, but My Class Got Summoned to Another World… -
Chapter 364 - 364: Stormborn Simurgh
As Logan tried to hold out, Yui, Serana, and Rubina combined their mana into the array. The circle, carefully drawn with powdered crystal, began to glow as they poured energy into it. It was meant to send out a pulse—one Silvia could lock onto to teleport in. The summoning still needed a few more seconds, especially since Lisa had just left her position to run to Logan's side. In her place, Kryst maintained the mana flow, taking over Lisa's portion.
Lisa sprinted across the swaying deck, her wings briefly manifesting as she reached Logan. What she saw made her eyes widen.
He was struggling—barely upright, clutching the rail with a dark tendril wrapped around it for support. The storm outside was monstrous. A tornado loomed on the horizon, massive enough to be classified as an F5 back on Earth. Worse, it was moving unnaturally—directed straight at them. Something was controlling it.
But she couldn't dwell on that now.
Raising both hands, Lisa began casting Holy Nova, aiming it toward the sea. The spell would avoid harming those she deemed friendly—but it would hopefully push back against the unnatural pressure bearing down on them.
Logan faltered, knees buckling slightly as his core pulsed with pain. He was pouring too much of himself into maintaining both storms. His head throbbed—he was dangerously close to collapsing.
Lisa didn't hesitate.
She poured more than half her mana into Holy Nova, her eyes glowing in a golden light. Light swirled around her hands as she invoked her blessing—Lightborn Authority. The spell strengthen Holy Nova causing it to swell in intensity until the orb of holy magic floating in front of her nearly blinded everyone around.
Then, with one final breath, she released it.
The empowered Holy Nova surged forward, a radiant sphere of light arcing over the ship and crashing into the sea ahead.
Lisa grabbed Logan just as he was about to fall, holding him steady as the holy light exploded in the distance and began to heal all those around it.
The second effect of the skill caused a wave of golden radiance to blow part a portion of the storm.
Everyone watched in awe as Holy Nova clashed with the incoming cyclone—light versus wind, as it seemed to be a fight between divinity and chaos.
The storm buckled.
And for a brief moment, calm returned.
Logan finally stopped casting as he recovered slightly, his chest rising and falling with each breath. He watched as Holy Nova did its job, the brilliant blast pushing back the massive water spout—at least long enough for the glow of the teleportation array to activate. A portal shimmered behind them.
He had expected Silvia to only bring Zephyr and one of the Thunderbirds. But to his surprise, Stormwing had joined them—and he didn't look like he did before.
The massive bird had changed.
He was larger now, more powerful. The storm around him seemed to bend to his presence.
"Sorry I'm late," Silvia said, stepping through the portal and walking toward Logan. "Had to get four electric mages to work together to rush Stormwing's level up. We made it just in time, at least."
She glanced at the storm in the distance and smiled.
"I think they can handle it now. Zephyr has been working on his techniques—he should be able to use them proficiently."
She placed a hand on Logan's shoulder, helping him stand straighter.
"Good," Logan muttered, still catching his breath.
He wanted to slap himself for being weak. If Kai were here, he'd probably already be looking for a cave to hide in out of shame. His knight expected Logan to handle things like this. And so far… he'd failed.
[Go now. Stop this storm!] Logan commanded through the Empathic Link.
All four birds—Zephyr, Stormwing, and the two lesser Thunderbirds—took to the sky and began casting Tempest's Wrath in unison.
Four powerful cyclones spun into existence, each reinforcing the others. The already-weakened F5-level spout groaned under the force, battered from all sides by the overlapping storms of Logan's creatures.
Zephyr flew straight into the heart of the storm, his sleek form vanishing inside the whirling chaos as he sought to tear it apart from within. Stormwing, newly evolved, remained stationary—his wings outstretched as he conjured a storm of his own, one meant to clash head-on with the unnatural cyclone threatening the fleet.
"Logan, I'll return in a moment with two of Zephyr's followers," Silvia said, eyes narrowing.
"Whatever is causing this storm… it's still there. We'll need more power to deal with it."
She let go of his shoulder and disappeared again through the portal, her form swallowed by light.
"Rubina!" Logan shouted. "I know it's draining, but keep the portal open—Silvia's bringing more help!"
Rubina gave a sharp nod as she steadied the formation, sweat already forming on her brow.
As for his creatures, they had pushed the storm back, weakening it dramatically—but the source still lingered. The two Thunderbirds that had yet to reach level 80 weren't able to output as much force as the others. Their power chipped away at the tornado, but it wasn't enough to fully dispel it.
Meanwhile, Zephyr had completely vanished into the storm. No one could see him—but Logan didn't panic.
He knew the bird was fine.
Stormwing, however, had only just evolved. He was still adjusting to his new form, his instincts sharp but his control unrefined. He was already helping immensely—but if he wasn't careful, his next attack could do more harm than good, he read through its stats to see what skills could help them in this situation.

Empowered* Primordial Thunder Gale – An evolved form of Thunder Gale. Stormwing conjures a vortex of electrified stormwinds that expands with every wingbeat. Not only does it damage and slow all enemies in range, it also interferes with magical barriers and disrupts flight for all but the strongest fliers.
Empowered* Judgment Dive – A divine-grade variation of Electric Dive. Stormwing becomes a bolt of pure lightning, phasing through obstacles before crashing into his target. The impact causes a delayed chain reaction of thunderous bursts that strike surrounding enemies.
Empowered* Overcharged Storm Barrier (Passive) – An evolved defensive aura. The electric shield now absorbs more damage and automatically releases charged lightning pulses that target enemies every few seconds. It also slightly heals Stormwing when struck by elemental magic.
Empowered* Tempest's Dominion – The evolved Tempest Wrath. Stormwing no longer just summons a lightning storm—he becomes its core. Bolts fall in controlled arcs, targeting enemies with precision while empowering nearby allies with an electrical speed buff. Lasts 20 seconds.
Empowered* Thunderclap Cataclysm – Combines dive and storm magic in one explosive maneuver. Stormwing crashes down from the stratosphere, generating a city-sized shockwave of wind and lightning. Enemies caught near the center are stunned, deafened, and suffer heavy elemental damage.
New* Sky Tyrant's Ascent – Stormwing channels the upper atmosphere's pure mana into himself, entering a high-powered aerial form for a short time. In this state, all lightning and wind abilities are doubled in area and damage. Grants immunity to debuffs and terrain hazards.
New* Monarch's Call: The Tempest Host – As Monarch, Stormwing can summon up to 5 of his loyal subjects anywhere within a 500-meter radius. These summoned allies are temporarily buffed with Stormwing's Aura, increasing their speed, defense, and elemental resistance. Once per battle.
