Class: Geomancer (Blessing: Earth)
Level: 79 / Health: 921 / Mana: 782
────༺༻────
Attributes:
Strength: 62 Agility: 46 Dexterity: 49 Constitution: 83 Intelligence: 71 Charisma: 58

[Skills:]
Stone Spear: Summons a sharp, fast-moving earthen spike that launches toward the enemy, capable of piercing armor and pinning targets to the ground.
Stone Pillar: Raises a thick stone column from the ground beneath a target or ally. Can be used to disrupt enemies or elevate allies out of danger.
Earthen Bulwark: Reinforces the user's body with a layer of compacted stone, increasing defense and reducing physical damage for a short time.
Seismic Slam: Slams the ground with force, causing a shockwave that knocks back enemies and destabilizes terrain. (Cooldown increases with scale)
Iron Flow Control: Manipulates raw or processed metal as if it were liquid. Can shape and guide metal mid-combat, allowing reactive defense or weapon shifts.
Magnetized Arc: Channels magnetic force through a metallic medium (weapon or construct), allowing a targeted boomerang-style strike or a magnetic pulse that pulls metal objects and weakens enemy equipment.
────༺༻────
[Abilities:]
Core of Earth: Grants passive resistance to knockback and control-based effects while grounded. Kai becomes harder to move and gains minor healing when in contact with natural terrain.
Metal Harmonization: Allows Kai to attune with crafted metal around him, gaining insight into its structure. Grants bonus damage when wielding metallic weapons or enhancing equipment.
Stonebound Tenacity: When below 30% health, Kai's earth element surges to protect him, reducing incoming damage and creating a one-time stone barrier. (Once per combat)

Logan took the time to personally teleport his two knights to their assigned ships using Silvia's short-range teleportation spell. He'd checked on them before—but not in as much detail as today. With both nearing level 80, he couldn't help but wonder what breakthroughs they might unlock before reaching the Dark Temple Island.
For now, what mattered most was their usefulness. In particular, Iron Flow Control—Kai's newly awakened metal skill—might be the only hope of repairing any damage to the ships mid-storm.
Logan didn't want to rely on it… but he needed to be sure.
He searched through his inventory and pulled out a short dagger, something simple enough to test the skill's limits without much risk. Making sure no one was nearby, he focused his mana control on the skill and on the object.
The blade hovered gently in place, swaying in the air as Logan manipulated it. Floating it was simple. There was mental strain, but manageable.
Next, he bent the metal slightly from side to side. A faint creaking filled the air as the blade resisted, then obeyed, flexing in short arcs. He didn't want to overdo it—too much heat or strain might warp the weapon.
Finally, he tried to reshape the dagger—stretching its tip forward and attempting to return it to its original form.
That… didn't go as planned.
The blade ended up looking like melted clay, the tip drooping slightly. Logan blinked, then laughed.
"Well… good for emergency patchwork. But Kai and Chloe will definitely need to finish the real repairs."
He reshaped the dagger a few more times until it was passable and returned it to his storage. With the skies darkening and the sea growing restless, he made his way back toward the deck—toward Spearfish.
The creature had been absorbing mana stones during the last half an hour. Logan stood at the edge of the ship just in time to witness the glow surrounding it. A wave crashed against the side, splashing him and obstructing his vision. He couldn't see the transformation—but he felt it.
A pulse of mana surged from the depths as the bond seemed to called out to him.

Name: Spearfish
New Species: Stormfin Dreadlancer
Level: 40 / Blood Mark: Dorsal Fin / Loyalty: 27/100
────༺༻────
Attributes:
Strength: 42 Agility: 66 Dexterity: 53 Constitution: 37 Intelligence: 34 Charisma: 21
────༺༻────
[Skills:]
Tide Dart: The spearfish surges forward in a burst of speed, becoming a blur in the water. Deals piercing damage and has a chance to knock enemies off balance or leave deep wounds if striking from stealth or high speed.
Ripple Veil: Disrupts the water around it to create a field of shimmering distortion. Reduces visibility and lock-on accuracy from enemies for several seconds. Effective against projectile and magic targeting.
Aqua Step (Passive): Gains a stacking boost to speed and evasion the longer it remains in continuous motion. Resets if the creature is forcibly halted or stunned.
Hydrodynamic Cut: Uses its bladed nose to slash through targets or obstacles. Enhanced damage against defensive formations or barriers, especially those made of ice, plant matter, or earth.
Flash Leap: Performs a high-speed leap from the water's surface, allowing it to momentarily strike airborne or shoreline enemies before splashing back down.
Aqua Jet Burst: Upgraded propulsion skill that now leaves behind a buffing tailcurrent. Allies following its path gain minor speed and evasiveness for 10 seconds.
Surge Veil (New): Surrounds itself with a veil of pressured water, reducing incoming damage from physical and elemental attacks. Can be detonated in a shockwave if broken.
Flash Lancer (New): Fires a condensed bolt of pressurized water shaped like a harpoon from its snout. Can be used at medium range for precise strikes or to interrupt spells.

[Abilities:]
Hydrodynamic Apex: Movement speed and turning radius scale with current water pressure and nearby mana saturation. Gains momentum-based critical chance.

Logan spotted movement.
Spearfish broke the surface in a flash, its new form leaping fully out of the water. Its five-meter body arced through the sky in a spray of mist and foam. The stylized marlin-like frame, sleeker and more refined than before, it seemed to glow blue from water mana under the darkening clouds. A long sail traced down its back, stretching toward its tail like a natural rudder—and at its front, the elongated nose now resembled a deadly lance, nearly a meter in length.
It wasn't even half Abyss's size, but in speed and killing ability there was some hope.
It was not just a creature it was a weapon.
The water churned violently in its wake as the newly evolved beast darted forward. The ships tilted slightly, but then stabilized. Spearfish began redirecting the waves around them—cutting paths through the forming swells like a blade parting a curtain while helping Abyss who was trying to use its body to ram into the waves.
The new evolution was exactly what Logan needed.
"Just in time." he muttered.
