Han Jingnian tossed his phone onto the table and went to take a shower.

Afterward, he laid on his bed and closed his eyes to sleep.

Ai Jiang’s phone was constantly vibrating in her pocket. She quietly declined the calls, but new ones kept coming in.

After a dozen or so calls, she couldn’t stand it any longer. Raising her head to address Xia Wan’an and Song Youman, she said, "I’m going to the restroom."

"Okay, okay."

Xia Wan’an and Song Youman echoed in response.

Ai Jiang meekly stood up and headed to the restroom.

Once the door was closed, she took out her phone, glanced at the caller ID, and answered. Before the person on the other end could speak, she interjected: "He Che, how many times have I told you not to call me when I’m with my wealthy friends... what could possibly happen? The drunken Song Youman was singing wildly, Ai Jiang was holding an empty bottle and giggling foolishly against the wall, while Xia Wan’an spun once around the room, then curled up on a blanket belonging to Song Youman’s pet kitten, ignored the kitten’s intense glare, and fell asleep.

Not long after closing her eyes, her phone rang.

Xia Wan’an fished out her phone and, in her blurry-eyed state, answered without even clearly recognising the incoming call display, "Hello?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line.

Yawning, Xia Wan’an was about to speak again when she heard a male voice from the phone, "Where’s the water card for the house?"

"Um..." Between the alcohol and fatigue, Xia Wan’an’s brain was unable to process thoughts properly. She groggily replied, "When I remember, I’ll tell you in my dreams."

Having said that, Xia Wan’an abruptly hung up the call.
