Han Jingnian changed his shoes, brought the suitcase into the master bedroom, and started hanging up their clothes one by one in the dressing room. He then put Xia Wan’an’s cosmetics back on her vanity as per their original arrangement.

With everything back in its place, he didn’t forget to store the suitcase into the storage room. During this, he asked Xia Wan’an again, "What do you want to eat?"

Xia Wan’an continued pretending as if she hadn’t seen or heard anything and played with a small mirror on the sofa.

Han Jingnian stared at Xia Wan’an – who was completely ignoring him. With a furrowed brow, he looked troubled for a while before heading to the kitchen.

Half an hour later, he came over to Xia Wan’an with a bowl of noodles, "I added two eggs for you."

He paused, then added, "We only had two eggs left at home."
