Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Xia Wan’an is my wife (1)_1

As soon as he stepped out of his house, Han Jingnian’s face instantly turned cold. He pressed the elevator button, went straight to the underground parking lot, bent down to get into his car, and fiercely stepped on the gas pedal, accelerating away.

On the Beijing streets, which were still free from the morning rush hour, everything moved smoothly. In just ten short minutes, Han Jingnian’s car had turned into a residential complex and parked under a building.

The instant he disembarked from his car, two large men in black overalls came over. Respectfully bowing, they greeted him, "Mr. Han."

Han Jingnian didn’t respond, merely acknowledging them with a nod before leading them into the elevator.

Upon reaching the 31st floor, Han Jingnian stepped out of the elevator and rang the doorbell. Approximately five minutes later, a voice finally came from behind the door: "Who is it?"

Han Jingnian didn’t answer, instead ringing the doorbell once more.

The door swung open shortly after. A just-awoken Chi Mu, surprised and excited, looked at Han Jingnian, "Jingnian? Why are you here?"

Han Jingnian ignored her, stepping forward until Chi Mu moved aside from the doorway. He held the door with one hand, glanced back, and the two large security guards immediately barged into Chi Mu’s apartment.

"Jingnian, what’s the meaning of this?"

Confronted with Chi Mu’s confused question, Han Jingnian silently stepped inside. After closing the door, he gave the two security guards a signal.

Following his cue, the guards immediately grabbed Chi Mu and dragged her towards the master bedroom.

"Jingnian, what are you doing?"

"Jingnian! Why are you treating me like this?!"

"Han Jingnian!"

"..."

Amidst Chi Mu’s frantic cries, Han Jingnian walked over to the balcony, utterly unmoved, and began to leisurely appreciate the rising sun.

"Han Jingnian, have you gone mad? Don’t you know who my father is? He’s a shareholder in your Han Family’s company!"

"Don’t touch me! You know this is illegal! I can sue you!"

"Ah, don’t pull my hair, I’m telling you all, I won’t let you off the hook!"

"Don’t rip my clothes, don’t take photos, don’t...boohoo, leave me alone, don’t do this..."

The once arrogant and harsh Chi Mu’s threats gradually turned into sobs and pleas.

It took a full twenty minutes for the bedroom to finally fall silent.

The two security guards came out one after the other and respectfully handed over a cellphone to Han Jingnian, "Mr. Han, everything you asked for is in here."

Han Jingnian gave a small nod and accepted the phone.

"Well, Mr. Han, shall we leave now?" one of the security guards asked.

Han Jingnian gave a grunt of approval. After the two security guards had left Chi Mu’s apartment, he leisurely made his way to her bedroom.

With eyes red and swollen from crying, Chi Mu was curled up on her queen-sized bed, shivering uncontrollably.

In the face of this scene, Han Jingnian remained absolutely steady. He walked over to the bed, looked down at Chi Mu, and spoke icily, word by word, "How does it feel?"

Chi Mu tightened her lips and remained silent.

Han Jingnian’s lips curved into a cold smirk, and his voice, when he continued, was as cold as winter frost: "Chi Mu, listen carefully, because I will only say this once."

"Xia Wan’an is my wife. To harm her is to harm me!"
