They thought of taking a hostage, grabbing the nearest person, but unfortunately, one of the tables just happened to be right below where Shen Dong was; Lin Qi’s table. They selected a person from there.

The young masters only looked on as spectators, unaccustomed to such chaos, and were easily controlled. They found this group quite easy to manage and quickly moved over to them. Lin Qi also had an uneasy thought; she was bright and attractive, and someone had already wanted to take her away when she was upstairs, but didn’t have enough money on them.

However, now the opportunity presented itself. The leader of the group was the happiest, immediately gestured for Lin Qi to come over. Lin Qi shuddered with fright; it was just her luck to be targeted.

With so many people around, they had to choose her. The others stepped back, feeling like it was bad luck to be near her, blaming her for their table being selected. Instant regret washed over them, especially Zhang Xu who thought of the woman as a jinx.

Failing to ingratiate himself with her and now having attracted the attention of others, he decided he might as well hand her over to them, hoping they would spare him.

He had only been looking for some excitement, not trouble that could land on him. If his family elders were to find out he had been to such a place, he would surely be severely scolded.
