Axel lamented when he couldn’t move his legs to help Heaven. However, when the brawl unfolded right before his eyes, his lips fell open. He couldn’t believe his eyes, making him rub them in case that would help him correct his eyes.

But he wasn’t just seeing things.

Heaven was fighting those guys... no, she wasn’t just fighting those guys. It was a one-sided fight.

"Sis..." he whispered, watching Heaven march towards the woman who was trying to run away.

When Axel blinked, Heaven jumped on the other guy and continuously threw punches in his face. Each punch was powerful enough for his blood to splash on her cheek. Heaven punched him over and over, even after he passed out.

Those remarks that man spewed that night rang in Axel’s ear, only to fade as he watched Heaven unleash her anger at him. Axel could still hear the mockery in his voice that night and how they looked at him that was enough to bring down his confidence. But now... those guys could only let out painful shrieks or stay quiet as they passed out from the pain.

"Kya!!!" Axel kept his gaze on Heaven’s figure, following her as she shifted her attention to the other woman. Heaven grabbed the woman’s hair while the latter screamed her lungs out.

His heart suddenly thudded against his chest as he watched how the woman screamed in horror. That woman... who had been leering at him and even touched him in places he didn’t consent to... was now begging to be saved.

A thin layer of tears coated Axel’s eye while Heaven tripped the woman, only to stomp on her kneecap. He knew he shouldn’t feel touched by what was unfolding right before his eyes, but he couldn’t help it. Axel wanted to take this secret to his grave.

What happened to him that night... he wouldn’t let anyone else know about it.

Axel was scared that people would judge him; that it would disgust them, just like how he felt towards himself. He didn’t want to be judged because, at one point, Axel admitted he was at fault as well. What happened to him was the consequence of his actions. Therefore, he planned to take this secret to his grave.

However, Heaven didn’t judge him. Instead, she went to the frontline to get justice for him. It was wrong to put justice in one’s hands and Axel was aware of that. Still, her reaction was so unexpected he couldn’t help but tear up.

Heaven not only gave him justice, but she unleashed the wrath Axel couldn’t express. By the looks of it, one would mistake that these guys offended her directly.

’Sis... thank you...’Axel bit his bottom lip until he was almost chewing it, crying like a little boy. ’... for getting angry in my stead.’

Tears blurred his vision, sniffing hard as he felt his tensed body relax. He wiped his tears with his arms, telling himself this was not the time to be crying or to feel moved. Even if Heaven surprisingly could fight, he had to stop her.

When Axel managed to stop his tears and muster the courage to get out, his heart skipped a beat. The moment he raised his eyes, the man with an orange mohawk was already holding a gun at Heaven.

"Sis!" Axel didn’t even think twice as he jumped out of the car, calling her once more. "Sis!!"

Heaven just glanced in Axel’s direction but ignored him. She set her eyes on the muzzle before lifting her gaze to the man. She raised both of her hands to her shoulder level, but her expression was plain.

"Hahaha...!" the man with a mohawk laughed, but his grip still trembled as an after-effect. "Fucking bitch. I’m going to fucking kill you, you fucking bitch."

"You," called Heaven calmly. "Do you know what it means to point a gun at someone?"

"Huh?"

"When you pull up a gun, you shoot," she dawdled, blinking ever so tenderly. "It’s not a thing to used to intimidate. It’s something you used to give yourself an advantage. A chance to stop your enemy."

Heaven took a careful step forward while the man panicked, glancing at her feet.

"Stay there!" the man warned in a shaking voice. "I will shoot you if you come closer!"

"Your hands are trembling," she pointed out, staring at the pistol and then at the man with a mohawk. "If you don’t get a grip, you’ll miss your target and, most likely, your only chance of survival."

"What?"

Heaven took another step until both of them were at arm’s length. "I said..." Heaven trailed off as she swiftly moved her arms, snatching the pistol from the man’s grip.

In a blink of an eye, the pistol was now in her hands, pointing at the man.

"... guns aren’t something to use for intimidation, but to stop your enemy," she continued in the same calm tone while the man’s heart sank, looking at the gun in her possession and then back to her calm face. "This is what I meant by that, you orange little bitch."

"Uh..." the man’s entire body trembled as he took a step back, bending his knees. "Please don’t shoot."

"Can you give me one good reason I shouldn’t?" Heaven tilted her head to the side.

His pupils continued to dilate as he thought of anything he could use to keep him alive. His lips quivered as they paled, looking up at Heaven as he placed his hand across his chest.

"Madam, I’m really sorry for what I did!" the man went down to his knees, begging. "I was just — I just thought that pretty boy — I mean, Axel Zhu is too arrogant! He didn’t need to win the race because he has a lot of money already! This is my livelihood, but that guy —"

"Give me one good reason I shouldn’t put a hole in your head." Heaven stopped him mid-sentence as she stressed each syllable. "All that nonsense is nothing but noises. Just tell me if you don’t have one..."

Heaven cocked the pistol and then walked a step closer, pressing the muzzle on his forehead. "... so I don’t have to hear your buzzing ever again."
