Paula’s brows rose, looking at Leo to see him pointing at his cheek. She checked her cheek, missing the small crumb near her lips.

Leo sighed. "Here, let me," he said, wiping it with his thumb.

’Oh, my!’Heaven instinctively pulled out her phone, recording the two. ’I feel like I’m watching a romance movie unfold right in front of me.’

The three of them continued to eat and chat. Sometimes, they would talk about the upcoming project the two were starring in. It was pretty normal and Paula hadn’t pulled off anything. However, Leo’s treatment of Paula was noticeable. He had been paying extra attention to Paula and her needs.

"Thank you, Heaven," he expressed sincerely. "Even after five years of hiatus, your expertise in resolving such problems is still the same."

Leo then faced Paula. "What do you think, Miss Shen? We looked better together in that clip."

"Right. We’re almost like lovers." Paula chuckled, a little pleased at the progress. "Thanks, Heaven. I’m glad you came here with us."

"Don’t mention it." Heaven waved. "Though you have to continue that. Like messaging each other from time to time, maybe making short phone calls. Just a simple life update. It’s not necessary for all projects, but since we need chemistry here, you guys need to feel more comfortable. Do you need to do sex scenes?"

Leo and Paula looked at each other before looking back at her.

"Yes." He nodded, but his smile was short. "But we can do that part without a hitch."

"For sure." Paula rocked her head.

"I don’t mind doing life updates if Miss Shen is alright with it." Leo cast Paula a knowing look. "I don’t want to anger someone, after all."

"Huh?" Heaven furrowed her brows. "Who will be angry?"

"Haha. I heard Miss Shen is –"

"Senior Wu, please don’t be like that." Paula panicked, stopping Leo mid-sentence. "Rumors are rumors. They’re nothing special. Moreover, if it was about work, I don’t mind since we cannot meet any time we please. My schedule is packed before the taping and I’m sure you have other commitments you need to fulfill before the filming starts."

Leo was not too dense not to understand Paula. Rumors or not, he should respect her decision to keep her private life away from work.

"If that is what you say. I’m just worried since I don’t want to anger or hurt someone." He smiled, leaving a hint to Paula. "And you’re right. I’ll be busy for the next few weeks before the filming. So, our schedules might not match. Thanks, Heaven. You’re truly amazing to think that far."

No, she didn’t think that far.

Heaven only thought it would be a spectacle for Paula to fall for him. However, the two already thought her suggestion was for something more serious and ethical. Not that it mattered, because Heaven was intrigued.

’Rumor?’ Heaven cast Paula a look while the latter sipped from the straw nervously. ’What rumor?’

When the black sedan moved away as its passenger entered the café, Heaven’s brows rose. Behind the black sedan was another vehicle. Reading the plate, her eyes lit up.

’My hubby!’Heaven smiled brightly when she caught Dominic getting out of the vehicle. Getting out of the front seat was the ’despicable’ Dane Zhang.

’Wow...’ her lips parted in awe. ’I’m sorry, Leo. But now that my husband is here, you suddenly looked like a squid.’

As harsh as it may sound, Dominic just looked like a deity — majestic, unparalleled, simply amazing. With the way he carried himself, the way he walked, and even his posture was just too handsome! Heaven was surely one lucky lady to be able to bed him at any time of the day. But just as Heaven was about to raise her hand to catch Dominic’s attention, Dane blocked her from Dominic’s view and pointed at the table where the businessmen sat.
