Chapter 2012: Chapter 2013: Conversation.
Dogzi hesitated for a moment, seemingly straining to recall something.
Wang Mang stared intently at it, hoping it would reveal some new information.
However, Dogzi suddenly stopped talking, its eyes becoming blurry as if it had fallen into a deep reminiscence.
Seeing this, Wang Mang grew anxious. He shook Dogzi’s shoulders and asked, "What do you remember? Tell me everything."
Dogzi trembled slightly, then slowly began to speak, "There was a person, he was called..."
Dogzi’s words were a bit unclear, as if it was struggling to remember the person’s name.
Wang Mang’s heart tightened. He felt Dogzi might be about to reveal something important and urged, "That person, what was his name?"
Dogzi’s gaze cleared, and it looked at Wang Mang, saying slowly, "I can’t remember his name. But I remember what he looked like; he was a very powerful person who could control the power of Chaos."
Wang Mang furrowed his brows, curious, he pressed, "Be more specific."
Dogzi, held in Wang Mang’s hand, gave him a strange look and pondered as it described,
"He... he..."
"He is blurry, strange, I just remembered him."
Towards the end, Dogzi’s face clearly filled with pure confusion and bewilderment.
Clearly, it was not lying.
Now, it was Wang Mang’s turn to be puzzled.
A blurry appearance, yet able to control Chaos.
This was becoming more and more complicated.
What was it that was keeping him from perceiving all this?
Wang Mang’s eyes flickered carelessly as he put down Dogzi.
Seeing Wang Mang just standing there stunned, Dogzi also slouched behind him.
Looking at Wang Mang’s tall figure, Dogzi’s eyes suddenly showed a look of astonishment.
The vague figure in its memory and the clear figure before him slowly started to converge.
For a moment, it couldn’t find a single difference.
If anything, it was just a matter of perception.
Pondering Dogzi didn’t even notice that Wang Mang had already left.
And there it stood, stunned.
"Hey, dead dog, what are you looking at?"
A suddenly teasing voice woke Dogzi.
Its gaze instantly cleared.
Hm? Has the master already left?
Wait, what did this guy just call me?
In an instant, its gaze towards Wu Ya filled with hostility.
"Ao wu..."
"Nest, don’t bite the butt!!"
...
In the Chaos Realm, within the Immeasurable Turbid Sea.
A dazzling silver-white radiance rippled, covering a vast expanse of the chaotic turbid Qi.
A resplendent ball of light sat atop the silver radiance.
Beneath it was the filthy chaos Qi.
Suddenly, the ball of light throbbed, and the surrounding silver light began to grow unstable.
At times dazzling, at times dimming.
Meanwhile, the ball of light also began to twist, change, and shrink.
A vast, rich aura of time continuously suppressed the surrounding chaos Qi trying to invade.
The change lasted for an unknown duration, and the ball of light had disappeared.
In its place was a figure robed in radiance.
"Finally, it has come."
Such a scene was also unfolding in five other places.
...
At this time, in Wu Ya’s courtyard.
Wang Mang and Wu Ya were sitting on chairs talking about something, while Dogzi was seated at Wang Mang’s feet.
"Is there a division of realms within Chaos, or are they all similarly pseudo eighth-tier?"
"There is no division, but there are variations in strength."
"Like what?"
"Like the one we met before in the Second Loop of the universe, he was a bit weaker than me."
"And you still got sealed?"
"Cough cough, that was like capsizing in a gutter."
Wang Mang: ...
"Could it be that this Chaos is just like the Primeval Forest?"
"You can think of it that way, only darker."
"If someone comes to the Chaos using known methods, there’s a consensus that absorbing another’s Origin will make you stronger."
"Encountering a fellow traveler in this Chaos usually doesn’t make one happy, but suspicious of the other."
"No one knows the other’s purpose, so everyone tends to keep to themselves."
"Are there no exceptions?"
"Oh, there are, but those fools end up as pounds of food for others."
"You guys still like eating people?"
"Refining Origin of the same Level isn’t that easy, but if you devour the other’s corpse as well, the Origin won’t resist integration so much."
"You’ve done it."
"No, I heard it from others."
"Remember here in the Chaos, everyone is an old coin, be cautious yourself."
"You too?"
"Except me."
Wang Mang looked at Wu Ya’s face, wondering about something.
The scene quieted down,
through Wu Ya’s descriptions, Wang Mang roughly understood the situation in the Chaos.
There were no Realm divisions; everyone was at the same Level.
Although everyone coveted each other’s Origin, they dared not act rashly.
With these thoughts, Wu Ya’s phrase about everyone being cunning wasn’t strange at all.
It rather resembled jungle life.
Except for a few who had successfully devoured others’ Origin, almost everyone was at the same level.
Those who had succeeded would naturally conceal it, to aim for another chance to devour.
Everyone hesitated to reveal their own matters, otherwise they would be mobbed by the uneasy.
Everyone is at this level, except you.
Who else to mob but you?
The smarter ones would deliberately stir trouble to fish in troubled waters.
Meanwhile, many thoughts flashed through Wang Mang’s mind.
Although he usually didn’t like to think, that was only true in the Second Loop of the universe.
Now in this cannibalistic Chaos, not using one’s brain was truly a shortcut to elimination.
Especially since his Combat Strength hadn’t caught up yet.
He didn’t even have the chance to race alongside others.
Just then, Wu Ya’s voice suddenly arose.
"There’s one more thing."
"If you encounter anyone besides me, remember to hide yourself by all means to avoid having your condition detected by others."
In an instant, upon hearing this, Wang Mang’s pupils shrank.
"What do you mean?"
Wu Ya gave Wang Mang a meaningful look, smiling slightly.
"Those six mysterious things, to others, they are an irresistible temptation."
At this point, Wang Mang’s gaze towards Wu Ya instantly became more vigilant.
Seeing this, Wu Ya just shrugged unconcernedly and continued,
"Don’t look at me like that. If I wanted to make a move, I wouldn’t have waited until now."
Hearing this, Wang Mang’s wariness towards him diminished quite a bit.
However, the dog at his feet glanced disdainfully at Wu Ya.
It knew a thing or two about what had happened in the Second Loop of the universe.
Wondering who almost got killed that day.
