I Shall Cuck Everyone -
Chapter 236 - 236: Transcendent gods' Bane: Fourth Stage
The surge of energy from both Zamira and me is overwhelming. My Ki is powerful, but my physical body struggles to handle it. The strain threatens to tear my muscles apart. Continuing like this will only cripple me in a few moves. It seems I miscalculated and misjudged my opponent for the first time in a while. But right now, my main concern is my own body, which is the conduit for my abilities.
There's only one option...
"Zamira!" I call out, catching her attention as she tightens her grip on her sword. Her eyes radiate with a bright light, but it fades when she hears her name. She keeps holding her sword firmly.
"Think about the countless lives that could be lost if we fight. Let's approach this situation differently," I suggest, consciously reducing my Ki to ease the strain on my body.
"What alternative do you propose? You need a reminder of your place. Your upbringing clearly lacked manners," Zamira retorts, her tone dripping with disdain as she prepares to attack me.
"Wait! Consider the consequences for people. Think about the outrage if lives are lost due to our selfish interests," I assert loudly, trying to persuade her. This time, Zamira seems to recognize some truth in my words.
"What do you suggest, then?" Zamira asks, impatience evident in her demeanor.
"Unleash your most powerful attack on me. If I emerge unharmed, you'll be my partner. Does this agreement suit you?" I ask, a smile appearing on my face.
Zamira doesn't seem pleased by my proposition, and her face contorts into a frown.
Ah, she's falling into the trap...
"That's too much. Instead, subject me to your strongest assault. If I survive it, I'll give you another chance to withstand my own attack. If you succeed, I'll be your partner. I offer you two chances to prove yourself. Deal?" Zamira declares confidently.
Excellent! She took the bait... Maybe she's not as astute as I thought. Perhaps I'm just too crafty.
"Very well, we have a deal! But we can't rely on words alone. Let's formalize our commitment with a blood oath," I state firmly.
"How do we do that?" Zamira asks, looking perplexed.
"I can easily perform a blood oath with my absolute control over blood. Anyone who breaks the oath will face self-destruction within twenty-four hours," I inform her sternly.
Zamira pauses for a moment, contemplating my proposition.
"Fine, but don't try anything foolish," she concedes.
"Stay still," I say, pointing my index finger at her. A surge of aura shoots out from my finger, penetrating her forehead.
At the same time, our bodies convulse as if possessed. The blood oath is sealed. The process involves temporarily summoning a blood fairy to seal the agreement.
"Prepare yourself for my attack," I declare, gripping my sword tightly.
Without hesitation, I infuse my vampire aura into the blade. My hair floats in waves, and my eyes turn vivid crimson. The dark sky and moons slowly shift to a striking red, and a massive crimson cloud forms overhead.
<BOOM!>
A surge of vampire aura erupts from within me, making blood trickle from my ears and nose. Has my vampire aura intensified? Pushing aside those thoughts, I raise my sword, its glow becoming a bright crimson. The cloud above us transforms into a colossal vortex.
"Transcendent gods' bane – Fourth stage!" I announce.
Instantly, a torrent of aura shoots out from my blade, piercing through the vortex. The sword continues to absorb my aura at an astonishing rate, causing a grunt of strain to escape my lips.
Feeling that the vortex can no longer drain my dwindling aura, of which only about five percent remains, I tightly grip the hilt and swiftly swing the sword downward toward Zamira.
KRRRRRRRRR!
A burst of crimson light explodes from the vortex, resembling a display of fireworks, as an immensely magnified sword slash hurtles toward Zamira. Unlike the blood palm strike I used against Alphonso, this time I opted for a blood slash.
In an instant, my body is sent backward, and the sword in my hand shatters into tiny fragments upon impact. It's at this moment that worry creeps into my mind as I contemplate Zamira's ability to withstand the attack.
During my confrontation with Alphonso in the virtual reality console, I only used the second stage. Even with his Ki, Alphonso struggled to neutralize the blood palm strike. But Zamira lacks Ki and relies solely on her destructive yellow energy, which is unsuitable for defense.
The only way to stop my assault is by generating an attack of equal or greater magnitude, canceling out the devastation. However, I doubt Zamira can completely nullify my strike.
"BOOOOM"
"BOOOOM"
"BOOOOM"
Explosions echo in the distance as I'm violently propelled backward. I sense profound tremors from the planet's core, and the sky shines with blinding light. I quickly create a shield of Ki to protect myself as my body is jolted by the impact of the detonations.
The ground shakes under the explosions, propelling me backward with great force. Vibrations seem to originate from the core of the planet, and the sky glows with blinding brilliance. I erect a Ki shield to shield myself from the impact.
Amidst the chaos, I strain my senses to determine Zamira's fate. Did she withstand the tremendous assault? I can't help but worry, knowing that I used the second stage against Alphonso in the virtual reality console, and he struggled to withstand the blood palm strike despite his Ki.
Zamira, on the other hand, lacks Ki and relies solely on her powerful yet destructive yellow energy, which can't be used for defense.
The only way to counter my attack is for Zamira to unleash an equally powerful or even stronger assault to nullify the destruction. But I doubt she has the capability to completely withstand my strike.
