I Received System to Become Dragonborn -
Chapter 904 - 904: The Memories
Erend and Eccar hovered side by side, wings spread and breath steady despite the twenty Ents charging toward them like a wall of vengeance.
The air and grounds trembled with the sheer force of movement, the sky trembling beneath the weight of fury from a forgotten god's wrath.
But the two Dragonborn didn't flinch. They exchanged a glance, and both knew that they couldn't hold back anymore.
Erend's fists slowly unclenched, fire spilling from between his fingers like blood.
His body then ignited with his Magic. Flames wrapped around him in spirals, his skin glowing and pulsing.
Erend inhaled deeply and the air around him shimmered. The heat radiating from his body intensified until it became blinding.
[Skill activated: Fire Dragon Transformation.]
Light blooming from beneath his skin like cracks in a furnace. His back arched as fire and radiance surged outward in an explosion of molten light that radiated heat.
Wings burst from his shoulders, not just of flame, but of incandescent energy shaped like fire.
Inside the fire, his skin fractured, glowing fissures giving way to gleaming black and crimson scales that pulsed with heat and reflecting a living flame.
For a moment, his silhouette was only light. Then, form solidified in the shape of something ancient and terrifying.
"GROOAAAHHH!!!"
A roar erupted from his throat, so deep it cracked the air, shaking the battlefield with its echo.
Erend had become the Fire Dragon, blazing with dark crimson fire.
Beside him, Eccar closed his eyes as a deep thrum answered from the earth below. Cracks spread out from where he hovered, glowing with golden veins of light.
Dust and stone lifted around him as if gravity had reversed. Magic lit him from within. It was not fiery like Erend but solid and steady and powerful.
His skin darkened to deep slate, glowing lines etching along his limbs like fault lines.
From his back, massive wings unfolded that formed from layered stone and crystal, each feather etched with glowing vines of earth Magic.
His frame expanded, muscle and armor forming into the body of a great Earth Dragon.
Horns rose from his brow like mountain ridges. His jaw lengthened into a growl that resonated like thunder rolling through stone halls.
The transformation was primal but laced with an ancient glowing grace.
Eccar had become the Earth Dragon.
Their sizes was still so much smaller than the Ents but their power output was much greater than before.
From above, Thar'Zul-Vekar stared. Their expression, once composed and cruel, now cracked and their face become pale.
The sight of two Dragons in full form awoke something deeper than anger. It was memories and fear.
Long-buried trauma pulsed behind their eyes as the glow in the sky faltered for half a breath.
For a moment, the god didn't look all-powerful. They looked like a being who had once been crushed beneath flame. A being who remembered fire that devouring roots, wings that breaking trees, and roars that shook his world apart.
But the moment passed and now, the Dragons descended.
Erend dove first, his body wreathed in blazing flame. He surged from the sky like a comet and crashing into the first Ent with explosive force.
His claws raked through its bark like paper, fire erupting from his mouth. The Ent screamed as its limbs ignited. Its cursed sap boiling until the entire colossus exploded in flame in a matter of seconds.
Eccar followed close behind and slamming into the battlefield. He rose and drove his tail into the ground.
A dozen stone spikes erupted around him. It raise more about one hundred meters from the ground in the blink of an eye and impaling the Ents as they advanced.
He fly again then grabbed one by the throat and ripped it apart with sheer brute force. He slamming its torso into the ground where jagged pillars of bedrock shattered it into mulch.
Another Ent lunged at Erend. He turned midair and released a sweeping arc of fire from his wings, slicing the creature in half before it could strike.
Then he rose higher and spun, sending a spiral of flame downward that consumed three more Ents in a single blast.
"GROOOAAAHHH!!!"
Eccar roared and pounded both fists into the ground calling forth a stone quake that ripped through the battlefield.
Four Ents were thrown off balance and he crashed into them immediately, tearing limbs apart with his jaws and hurling entire bodies across the wasteland.
The Ents fought back and attack with speed and wild fury but they were not made for this. They were not made for the Dragons who had letting out their full power.
Limbs broke. Bark burned. One by one, the Ents fell.
The sky raged green.
But Thar'Zul-Vekar's face was pale and tight.
The full power of the Dragonborn had returned in their land and their presence alone made the god remember everything they wanted to forget.
"Yes… this is what you are!" Thar'Zul-Vekar growled, voice cracking through the sky like splintering wood.
Their lips curled back. This time was not in fear anymore but in fury.
They clenched their hands as old terror gave way to rage. "You've always been this."
They could feel the trees crying, roots burning, and screams beneath flame and thunder again. And the roar of wings tearing the forest sky apart.
It was all here again. The same fire. The same Dragon!
With a howl, Thar'Zul-Vekar descended.
Green-black light exploded around their body as they fell toward the battlefield, vines whipping, Magic crackling around their body.
They headed straight for Erend—the Fire Dragon—the one they remembered, or the one they choose to remember.
Erend who were still in the middle of the flight between burning Ents, felt the shift in the sky behind him.
He turned and saw the god falling toward him like a spear. He didn't hesitate.
He stopped ripping through the last Ent and shot up into the air and met Thar'Zul-Vekar head-on with a roar.
They clash in the middle of the air and creating huge shockwave.
