I Can Transform Into Any Monster -
Chapter 84: Little Problem in the Story
Chapter 84: Little Problem in the Story
Luis naturally preferred to be the one driving since they became a couple.
He got into the driver’s seat and started the engine.
Vroom!
The car immediately sped off, even though he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Alice wasn’t either. She simply leaned back in her seat as if she wanted to lie down.
From time to time, she furrowed her brows for no clear reason.
"By the way, what exactly got you chased by so many turtles?" Luis asked.
He wasn’t just curious — he really wanted to know.
Given their relationship now, and the fact that Alice even knew his secret, Luis was sure Alice wouldn’t mind telling him.
"Just this thing," Alice replied, pulling something out from her Dimensional Artifact.
It appeared above her palm — something that resembled a turtle shell, except it was bright gold and faintly glowing.
It was only slightly larger than the palm of her hand.
"What is that?" Luis asked, puzzled.
"Isn’t it obvious? It’s a turtle shell," Alice answered casually, making Luis unsure how to react.
"Of course, it’s not just an ordinary turtle shell," Alice continued before Luis could ask again.
"As its owner, I can change its size — from this small to big enough to cover my entire body. It’s essentially a defensive artifact, and its defense can even withstand an attack from an S-Level Awakener. It’s far more powerful than your Black Diamond Armor."
After hearing her explanation, Luis could no longer look down on the golden shell.
No wonder those turtles refused to return from the place where Alice had disappeared.
"But it has one fatal flaw," Alice added. "If I face turtle-type monsters, this shell won’t help me block their attacks. That’s why I had trouble getting back to the real world while being chased by those turtles. I think I need to reach Level A before I can fully control this shell by force."
"Only against turtles? Well, that’s no big deal — after all, it’s rare for anyone to fight turtle monsters," Luis said with a laugh.
BANG!
Suddenly, they crashed into another car — a large SUV with a very sturdy body.
The front half of Alice’s car was instantly crushed due to the high speed.
Luis’s head slammed into the steering wheel, and Alice’s head hit the dashboard.
The steering wheel and dashboard were destroyed on impact, as if struck by solid stone, but their heads were completely unharmed — strong enough to break a boulder.
Smoke began rising from the engine, a sign that something was burning.
Luis had been driving fast, but the real reason he crashed was because the SUV suddenly stopped in front of him. It had come from the bend ahead.
Despite being hit, the SUV was only slightly dented, while Alice’s car was nearly totaled — completely unusable.
Naturally, Alice pouted and looked at Luis in displeasure.
Even if it was the SUV’s fault, a crash was still a crash.
Suddenly, Luis saw the SUV’s door open.
A man who looked about 20 years old stepped out.
He was only wearing a tank top and tattered pants, with curly purple hair.
To Luis’s surprise, the man looked extremely angry.
He glanced briefly at his car before slamming his fist hard on Alice’s car, clearly furious.
"You brat, get out!" he shouted at them.
The onlookers who had seen what happened could only roll their eyes, not expecting the guilty party to yell at the one who was practically the victim.
He didn’t even seem to care about the condition of the people inside the wrecked car.
His confidence wasn’t baseless.
Luis could sense he was an Awakener — but only Level E+, not even Level D.
He had killed many Level C Awakeners before. Dealing with an E+ would be nothing.
"I’ll deal with him," Luis said as he opened his door.
Alice didn’t say anything, but of course she got out too — the car was clearly beyond use.
When Luis and Alice emerged without a scratch, the crowd was shocked.
In an accident like this, survivors usually needed to be rushed to the hospital.
"Brat, can you even drive?" the man in the tank top scolded Luis.
"I should be the one asking you that," Luis replied, stepping toward him and throwing a punch at his face.
The man was stunned by his sudden move, but Luis’s hand moved too fast. He couldn’t react, and the punch landed squarely on his cheek.
BANG!
All of his teeth were knocked out, and the sound of cracking bones echoed from inside his head. His jaw was probably shattered.
His body flew 30 meters into the air before crashing down hard onto his own car.
He couldn’t get up again, lying there like he was half-dead.
On the other hand, Alice calmly touched her smoking car, and it vanished instantly, stored back into her Dimensional Artifact.
Though she wouldn’t be using it again, she couldn’t just leave it on the road — it would cause a traffic jam.
"Let’s go," she said casually to Luis.
He followed her a bit awkwardly.
"Alice, sorry — I’ll replace your car," he said.
"No need. It’s not an expensive item. I still have other cars," Alice replied.
After saying that, she turned toward a hotel not far from the crash site.
It wasn’t a large hotel, but it was very luxurious.
Alice walked into the lobby and booked a room with the receptionist.
She paid herself and got the key.
"Come," she said again to Luis, signaling for him to follow.
She walked to the elevator.
Luis could see the look on the receptionists’ faces. They probably found it odd that a young man and woman came to the hotel and only booked one room.
But Alice didn’t care at all about their stares.
The elevator took them to the top floor, which had only two doors in a small hallway, indicating that each room behind those doors was massive.
Alice opened one of the doors, and Luis finally saw how huge the room was.
It wasn’t just big — it was incredibly luxurious, with a large bed facing the city center, a swimming pool, and a sunbathing balcony.
A room like this was perfect for a new couple’s first night. Unfortunately, Luis and Alice had already done that before.
Of course, desire wasn’t hard to rekindle, but Alice was already tired and said she was in pain. It probably wasn’t a good idea to do it again right now.
Luis followed Alice as she walked straight to the bed, clearly wanting to rest.
Before she reached the bed, Luis wrapped his arms around her waist, stopping her in her tracks.
"Alice, let’s take off our clothes," Luis said to her.
Even though they were just going to sleep, Luis preferred there to be no barriers between them.
To his surprise, Alice suddenly nodded and said, "Help me, but don’t ruin my clothes!"
Luis’s eyes lit up at that, thinking that Alice might also prefer them to be naked when they were alone together.
Luis tore his own clothes directly into small pieces, but he removed Alice’s clothes one by one, starting with her shirt, which he had to lift up, then her pants, which he had to pull down.
Alice didn’t make it difficult for him to undress her.
He easily removed all her clothes until only her bra and underwear remained.
Of course, both were easy to remove. He simply unhooked the bra clasp on Alice’s back, and it fell off on its own, then pushed her underwear down until it fell to her feet.
Their positions didn’t change. He was still behind Alice, and she was still facing forward.
From behind, Luis could see the beautiful curve of her waist.
Her body was truly perfect from every angle.
After that, Alice suddenly tied her hair up into a bun, revealing her clean neck, which Luis hadn’t kissed yet.
"Even a child would be ashamed to be naked in front of someone of the opposite sex their age. I don’t understand why adults enjoy it," Alice said.
"Mm..." Luis was a bit confused about how to respond to her words.
"This is also something that confuses me; maybe because the sensation is too extraordinary," he said after thinking for a moment.
What else could be the reason if not the sensation? Only the sensation makes adults act this way, causing them to lose their sense of shame.
Luis then pushed Alice onto the bed.
He lay down, turning her body to face him and, of course, hugging her tightly.
Alice pressed her lips together when their gazes met, as if she was a bit shy, but also enjoying their physical contact from top to bottom.
"I want to sleep now. If you don’t, just stay quiet," Alice said.
After saying that, she buried her face in his neck.
Her hands returned his embrace by wrapping around his chest.
Luis smiled at her.
For some reason, he no longer felt sleepy.
He was more focused on the sensation of holding her.
His hands couldn’t help but stroke her back.
Though she wanted him to stay quiet, she clearly didn’t mind her back being stroked by him.
One of his biggest dreams had come true. The most beautiful and intelligent woman in his school had become his girlfriend, accepting him completely so that she could give and show everything of herself to him.
Even though he eventually fell asleep, he couldn’t help but smile nonstop.
