Story is good but just until up a certain point. After that the story is just abt MC bulldozing his way crushing his enemies and the powerhouses. He become a murderhobo (i said what i said). The world in this story only contain 2 kinds of people. The first one is the one that kind to MC and have no spark of evil therefore they're MC friends. The second one is evil or stand on MC way so no matter the circumstances MC gotta kill. The distinction is just so bad, it's practically a black and white, no in between. Side chara is so so. Few got chara development. We don't know their stories, their motives, all we know that everyone wants to get stronger and that's all that matter.
This story have so much potential but it got killed by MC character. The more he got stronger the more i hate him. Even when i know he is kind towards his 'friends', his actions towards everything is just too maddening to read. Just bcs the world full of jerks doesn't mean you have to become one. I mean srsly. Like at that point where he eliminate those monks sect and killed all it's disciple, you cannot convince me that there's not a single good person there. It's just way too stupid. And yeah, you also cannot convince me that there's not a single bad person from MC village.
The clear seperation between good and bad are just too comical and unrealistic (god what did i hope for, for f sake this is fiction). Idk, it's hard to take this story seriously when we are forced to have MC as the moral compass of the story. He is the law, the judge and the executor. So, don't doubt him bcs MC is always right. Yep, that's why the story just doesn't sit well with me.
I give it a 3/5 tho, purely bcs i like the beginning and to the middle of the story. Rest is just...well, no
This is a kind of slow-boring novel, but it is relaxing, and there are almost no plot holes. author is righteous and calm, like those immortals we can imagine.
The story is good so far, for me that is. It's good worth the read. Mc is cool and his master. Hope more people discover this novel.........
