I Can Assimilate Everything -
Chapter 280 - 280: Setting Off II
New abilitied were abundant as they only increased his pace of progression!
Achilles stood still aboard the mile Vessel of Adrastia, his golden eyes glowing faintly as starlight ebbed beneath his skin.
Within the core of his being, the vast constellations of power that composed his existence shimmered with renewed brilliance.
So many upgrades. So many thresholds crossed.
And each one came with its own new quality!
Planetary Core Detonation would let him weaponize the very structure of this glorious Assimilation into an ultimate trump card in large-scale battles.
Hand of Evolution from the Evolutius Crystal granted him rapid, natural adaptation- allowing him to refine himself constantly, becoming a different version of himself every moment.
Through it, he felt an invisible stream of star light flowing down into his blood as his bloodline was being refined even when he was not actively refining it!
Primeval Epoch Bloom gave him control over time's growth…something unimaginably important.
Verdant Celest Realm was...alive. A forest with instinct and predatory sentience. It would potentially devour battlefields if left unchecked.
Dual Solar-Lunar Cataclysm would collapse the skies themselves if used without restraint. A clean, terrible cleansing!
Widow's Web Domain turned entire areas into his hunting ground. Even without his eyes or Ecological Empathy, he would know where his enemies stepped.
Dragon's Evolution was another wonder of accelersting his growth. His body no longer merely endured transformation- it sought it and welcomed it from this unique lineage!
Blood Dominion gave him a Thrall army. Transfer of power, blood, and experience between himself and his vampyric lieges with frightening potential. This, added to his Draconic Hybrids and Titan Legion…made it possible for him to raise three armies.
Three!
"…"
His blood burned just thinking of it.
Soulforged Armament let him rip the very essence of the dead and turn it into legacy weapons- pairing well with the Living Cataclysmic Weapons.
Spring Celest Core purified and did much more.
All of these…were just some of his assimilations and what he could do!
A single thought could suppress armies.
A single gesture could break cities.
A single heartbeat could summon power from all corners of existence.
"..."
He opened his eyes just as the Vessel of Adrastia entered the skies above the Primal Neon Tower.
Starlight danced all around.
Rays of Luminblood Astral Core brilliance flooded the havens, each wave cascading from the towering citadel.
He felt them before he saw them.
Dr. Shaw, now suffused with silver-red star light.
Nyxaria Moonveil Lunaris, veiled in drifting obsidian stellar darkness, her presence sharp and magisterial!
Luna, her silver billowing with stellar light, an illusory rising moon surrounding her.
Major David, skin etched with crimson volcanic stellar lines, his heartbeat shaking the air.
Each had ascended. Luminblood Stage Astral Core Ascension- brought into this stage by him!
And two more went even further.
Aliya, the Magitech Throne, projected the shimmering form of a Celestbone Sternum, its internal constellations humming with power
Thorndike, proud and humbled, bore a Celestbone Humerus as he still could not believe it.
And beside them stood Lancelot, the Glacivane Throne, still wrapped in frost-crusted steel. His eyes bore the awe and shock at such a scene after all the waves of empowerment!
Achilles' main body stood at the front of the mile long Vessel of Adrastia.
His Primordial Avatar floated at the peak of the Primal Neon Tower, hands behind his back, gaze solemn and commanding.
He looked to the skies- then toward the horizon.
His voice was neither loud nor forceful.
But it echoed.
"It is time to make our way to the Triarcan Keep."
…!
He called out, and those around him would follow.
Slowly, but surely.
Towards the unknown!
—
Some time later.
The morning sky was still thick with mist.
Faint golden beams from a rising sun filtered through the haze, streaking across mountain peaks like ghostly banners.
Far from the borders of the Adrastia Dynasty floating in the skies, the wind was still. The world, for a brief moment, was silent.
Then it trembled.
HUUUUM!
A low, melodic hum rippled across the havens as a colossal shadow swept across the clouds.
The Vessel of Adrastia, a tiny floating continent adorned with crystalline forests and rivers of golden essence, tore across the sky. Its velocity surpassed that of dreadnoughts, yet no sound broke from its motion.
A perfect gravitational field enveloped it as its flora were unfazed, the springs still, not a single leaf rustling as it pierced the sky.
On the upper ridge of this floating land vessel, Achilles sat barefoot by the edge of a glowing golden spring, calmly chewing a Primordium Evolutius Fruit. The vibrant core crackled with faint lightning and ambient energy, releasing waves of adaptive energy into his bloodstream.
Rose lay beside him, her legs dangling over the edge, eyes half-lidded in comfort. Across from them stood Aliya, still adorned in her throne-linked armor, Thorndike, newly bolstered and emanating Celestbone Humerus pressure, and Lancelot, whose glacial aura curled silently behind him like a tide restrained.
"The Terravolt Dynasty was late in replying to our call," Achilles said without looking up, voice measured.
Aliya hesitated. "This frustrates me more because I already talked with her. I will follow up directly with their Throne."
"Mmm.. "
Achilles simply nodded as he put himself in a unique mental state before this meeting of Ancients, Humans, and Mythological Creatures!
Below the flying Vessel, the Cenotaph Wild Lands sprawled like a living continent of chaos- untamed, impossible, swarming with Evolutius Beasts of varying sizes and mutations.
And yet... they did not rise to challenge the Vessel.
Because spores- thousands, millions of them- were already drifting downward.
Unseen. Unfelt. But alive.
Draconian Pathogenicity VI. A passive infection. A quiet claim.
The beasts below stopped snarling. One by one, they began to shift. To kneel. To crawl. To follow.
A silent legion forming with each heartbeat of the Vessel's advance.
But then…
They passed over a range of jagged, wind-swept mountains, where the beasts didn't kneel.
Not all of them.
There, amidst stone-carved ridges and shattered cliff faces, a figure stood alone. Not towering like a Titan. Not monstrous in width or fury.
But centered. Still. Smiling, and auraless as his power could not be felt.
The spores touched him.
And fizzled.
Not from resistance- no. From refusal.
He looked up.
A Simian figure, tall and lean, muscles corded and sinew-tight beneath a coat of short silver-gold fur. His eyes shimmered like ancient suns barely veiled behind clouds. Sharp fangs peeked from the corner of his smile. The Celestbones covering his arms, shoulders, and chest pulsed- not with rage, but delight.
He rolled his neck.
He spun a gleaming golden staff in his hands, one too large for physics, too balanced for mortals, too glorious to be ordinary.
A Mythological Ancient.
His tail, wrapped around his waist like a sash, uncurled as he gave a lazy yawn and scratched his head.
Then his gaze sharpened as he watched the Vessel of Adrastia pass overhead.
"Hmm... a flying forest releasing mind controlling spores..." He smirked. "How fun!"
He twirled the staff again and stamped it once against the mountain. The cliff beneath his feet cracked. The air rippled.
BOOM!
Dozens of miles of land cracked and splintered!
With a booming leap, a unique creature headed for the Vessel of Adrastia!
