Max in confusion asked Casandra.

He was really confuse, here he was ready for her tantrum and demands but he never thought she would just agree to sit away from him.

He instantly felt something fishy going on with her. It’s unlike her to give up such a golden opportunity.

"Yeah, I don’t need to hear it, I can sit on my own for now."

Casandra gave him her signature sly smile and she in a very agreeable tone, already accepting his agreement without fuss.

However hearing her tone, he was rather worried then calm down, there is definitely something cooking in this woman’s mind.

Max gave her a questioning look, raising his sharp sword like an eyebrow in doubt.

"Don’t look at me that way, I am telling you to enjoy your time.....*whisper* while you can."

Casandra dodged his eyes, looking everywhere but him, trying futile attempts to act normal.

Then after saying that she was ready to hastily run towards a seating place dedicated for their Steller group.

"No, not that fast Lilli, Explain what you mean by that."

Max quickly grabs back of her shirt collar, halting her from running away.

This woman acting too suspicious, he was sure she did something behind his back and now trying her best to hide it from him.

Normally he do not care as he knows she really would not do anything to harm him but due to his current circumstances he can’t take any risk of variables.

Who knows her innocent attempt would decide his end, after all the road to hell is paved by good intentions.

"Welllll.....*murmuring* I...I moved our head office in this city."

Casandra sighed helplessly, she is actually very good at lying, that’s one of the main skills to be learned for negotiations.

But she is helpless in front of him, she just isn’t able to lie or hide anything from him.

Everytime she try, she fumbles extremely badly like she did right now.

So she knowing she can’t lie her way out of this, just comes clean.

She was very frustrated with him calling her off, avoiding to meet with her or come to meet her in the capital at least.

So she did what she could do. If he wasn’t able to come to her, she decided she could always go to him.

She planned this move a long ago, just having cold feet fearing he would hate her for doing so but after his call un morning, She gave the move a go forward call.

Her people already made plans and policies for them with city officials and politicians, They all would be settled in just a week.

Because of course big corporations like them are going to get special treatment, they even got the whopping 90% off on property tax they just brought for their office space.

And that is nothing compared to what they were offered to stay in the capital.

The capital was ready to write off 100% of their taxes for a whole 2 years.

That in total is around 20-40 Billions UC, all to stop them from leaving the capital, that’s because they generate jobs and extra incomes to the people in the capital.

If a big corporation like them leaves, it would uproot the whole economy of the city and by proxy the whole country.

Casandra knows she can’t really move totally out of capital, that is equal to making the whole capital aka country their enemy.

No matter how big their Stellar group is, they can’t afford to make the whole county their enemy.

So she made a compromise, all main infrastructure was still intact in the capital, along with their headquarter, only the main office was shifted here for him.

She can always micro-manage remotely from here, and there are very talented and most importantly trusted people working there.

".....Where is it?"

Max was speechless, Not because of her actions but because of how she did a thing he was going to ask her to do.

Yeah of course he going to ask her move that group here, that’s his currently best backer and power he can utilize.

After all, 2 in 5 products people buy in this country are made by their Steller group.

They either have their own indigenous companies they created or have the highest if not at least 2nd highest stakeholders in the other companies.

From snacks like chips and ice-cream to electronics like phones and microprocessors, all are owned by their Stellar group.

It’s not far reaching to say, they pretty much control the whole market.

It would be dumb of him if he saw it as just a cash cow. It’s raw power.

So he wanted to get close to it, and Casandra did what he wanted to, No wonder she has a mighty secretary talent.

He was just wondering where she should buy their office place. These city officials are a little stingy. He is afraid they gave them some office building in the corner of business street.

"Oh, The business street."

Casandra was ready to be scolded by him, but other than that he just asked her about the location of their office.

She suddenly felt bubbly in her heart, feeling cared, he might be angry but he let it go just because he has such trust in her.

Well, it did not take that much to please her.

So she just answered him about the location in a happy tone.

"I know it’s in the business street, but where? Those bastards did not sell you some cheap building, right? If so tell me I tal-"

Max frowned, It’s unlike her to not give him specifications of the location making him think those officials rip her off.

It’s not that unthinkable, even if they are a big group, most of their influence is in the capital, in this Berlin city power dynamics have already decided.

So it’s hard to settle in this city without the backing of at least one of the big families like Winchester.

But before he could finish his sentence, She cut him off.

"No wat, You misunderstood, It’s not in business street, We brought all the business streets."
