As they all entered the auction hall, Max turned around and tried to shoo everyone away.

He needs some alone time away from them or all his time spent on playing mediator between them resulting in him not being able to focus on the items on the auction.

Tess was not in mood to argue with her, So she ignored her slip up and declared that Max already promised her he would sit with her, So it’s already been decided.

Casandra too jumped in for fun and gave them the solution.

The same solution monkey gave to the 2 cats* fighting over a piece of bread, which is she gets to have it all while the other two watch.

Serena, true to her nature, did not say anything else other than the fact that she hates sitting alone.

Well what she trying to say is that she hate seating alone because that means some stranger would seat next to her in public

She rather bears the presence of another human being she knows then to spend a second with a stranger, Her control freak clean nature can never allow it.

Erza was not interested in any of that as she knew no matter where he would sit, he was just going to drag her there with him to show off his beauty trophy.

Now she was even more certain of that fact as why would he ever higher her when he has a personal assistant like the great Casandra, her idol?

Max first looked at the two Winchester sisters as he first talked back to her.

He acted to be angry, while telling them they better give them a best dining experience, after which he chuckled, obvious to all that he was not that serious or angry.

Ashley wanted to rebuttal him but he cut her off, speaking in the spoiled childish tone to them as if it is ace card to use it against them whenever he wants something.

Well he is not gonna wash off the accusation of him being Green tea any time soon.

Ashley hesitated, she did not want him to be away from her sight fearing if he went away, he would never come to them.

He knows how to hold a grudge very well, just look at their mother.

And now that they know he is not even dependent on them financially, there is no reason for him to come back to them.

But she also had no defence against him acting spoiled, so she agreed but asked him to come back home. It’s been a month since he came back to their home.

"Deal."

Max has no reason not to agree with it, So he did, making both Ashley and Layla happy.

"Now you Tess, Sorry I promised you I would sit with you but few things came up ...How about I make up to you?

I would buy you something good and special here, and also as an apology, come to Lionheart mansion to play with you later, and I am not that good at it but I would cook for you all if you want it."

Max then turned his head towards Tess who was looking at him with eager eyes.

He did not want to break her heart nor want to go back from his words but if he is with them, he knows they would not allow him to concentrate.

So he offered her a middle ground, he would buy her something good and also go to her house to play.

Play with what or whom? That would be decided later on, Plus he gets to use his cooling skill, He has not tried his skill yet.

But seeing how OP his acting skill is, he is sure it would be nothing less.

"Okay, but promise me that you would buy something big and strong, and come to play with me tomorrow."

Tess did not even flinch or was disappointed, She after hearing his offer agreed instantly.

She just wanted something big and strong, What that might be? He just had an idea.

As for agreeing to go to her house tomorrow? Yeah he can do that as he has nothing much to do.

Rickie is injured and needs at least a week to recover from his physical injuries and who knows how much time it would take to recover from physiological trauma Tess gave him.

Well there is Jake but being the protagonist from a chinese short drama, he is pretty much spineless, until the very end.

He just had to make sure to cut off his wings here, how?

By buying just everything here as he did not know what his middle plot golden finger is, but as rebirth he wants to buy something from here, which he knows would be a big deal.

So if he brought everything he can from here then he can successfully cut off one of his ways to rise.

Why can’t he just get the thing he wants from the heroine who supports him directly?

Because Jake is the protagonist, using logic to solve problems is unfathomable to them.
