Chapter 392: Chapter 394: The Birth of the Frost Giant Dragon (11,000 words, asking for monthly votes)

Lide, holding the Ancient Evil God’s Eye, couldn’t help but fall into deep thought.

The quality of the item was not to be questioned, but the conditions alone were enough to make him frown.

To inherit it, he would need to withstand the erosion of ancient powers…

While that statement seemed simple, Lide knew better than anyone just how excruciating this seemingly easy erosion could be.

Moreover, that ancient power was not something that could be stopped by sheer willpower. If he didn’t have the Power of Faith to protect him, his soul would have been enslaved long ago.

That was the power of ancient days, the power of the divine.

With this in mind, the number of candidates who could obtain the divine artifact’s power immediately dwindled. He could endure it. Emi, after her breakthrough to transcendence, might also be able, and Asreaga, whose whereabouts were currently unknown, seemed possible as well, as he was a symbol of darkness and evil in this world–a Divine Monster.

Others, even Withered Bone, a Level 19 undead, would find it tough.

After some thought, Lide decided to put away the divine artifact for the time being. He would wait for Emi’s breakthrough to transcendence and Asreaga’s return before making a decision.

As for why he wasn’t inheriting the power of the Ancient Evil God’s Eye… Lide shook his head. He felt the chaos within the crystal ball and the Eye of Death were incompatible with him.

The artifact vehemently repelled his presence, and even after he had imprinted his soul mark upon it, he couldn’t activate it smoothly.

It’s better not to mess with such ancient evil items if there’s no compatibility, and Lide’s keen perception told him that this item was not suitable for him.

Although it seemed a shame to give it up, Lide didn’t care much.

An ugly and unsightly eye–what if integrating it ruined his appearance… If he ended up with the ghastly visage of the God of Plague, that would be bloody annoying. After all, good looks are justice.

And this possibility was far from small. The powers of the Ancient Evil God were too strange, and nobody understood what was going on.

Having determined its use, Lide didn’t take another look. It was a good object but incompatible with him.

With a thought, the Ancient Evil God’s Eye disappeared from its spot.

System Space couldn’t store items containing divinity, and this divine artifact was no exception. However, that didn’t prevent him from hiding it deep beneath the Land of Bone-Burying.

The entire plane was his storage space; he could place items however he wanted.

After securing the Ancient Evil God’s Eye, Lide turned his attention to the Evil God’s Horn wrapped in arcs of electricity in his hand.

The horn, containing the origin power of the God of Plague, held a power beyond what outsiders could imagine. Even the surrounding space was slowly warping under its might, giving an unreal sense of illusion to those who looked upon it.

Nobody would know that although Lide had seized the Divine Position of the God of Plague, this horn was the key to unlocking that position.

The Divine Position of Plague that he had taken was not assimilated by him but remained within the horn.

In other words, whoever held this horn would gain a fifth of the Divine Position of Plague. This horn was more like the key to the “Plague” Divine Position.

His initial goal of attacking Risier City was just the divinity within the head of the God of Plague, but he did not expect to find a treasure within the head that was no less significant than the divinity itself.

It was an unexpected joy.

“The ‘Plague’ Divine Position has never been anything benign in the myths and legends; its emergence often signifies germs, infectious diseases, death, and destruction.

The most important thing is that this Divine Position is not compatible with my own powers. Plague and disease are part of the Curse System, whereas blood and the Bloodline are a different path…”

Lide’s eyes flickered uncertainly.

“Divine Positions aren’t necessarily better the more you have. Too many can lead to confusion. The best state is one of mutual enhancement.

Blood and the Bloodline are the best examples… If I were to take on a Divine Position of death or slaughter, I could accept that, but plague…

There’s no strongest, only the most suitable…”

Lide was still cautious in the face of such a high-level temptation, not being lured by the surface appearance.

His thoughts were very clear–he knew what he needed. Stuffing oneself with all manner of good things might seem ideal, but it was more likely to weigh one down and slow progress.

“Though it’s not suitable for me, it’s definitely a top-tier treasure.

It’s even more useful than the Ancient Evil God’s Eye artifact, which has yet to show its full value.

This is power that can be seen and felt.”

Lide began to seriously consider everything related to the Divine Position of Plague.

“Also, there’s another important point, I believe the ‘Plague’ Divine Position has been underestimated. Plague shouldn’t just mean sheer slaughter and spreading infectious diseases…

If you think about it differently, what if there was a type of plague that doesn’t cause fatal harm to humans, but instead can grant a human the claws and physique of a wild beast, wouldn’t such a plague still be negative?

The essence of the Plague Divine Position is to use divine power to create germs that can transmit diseases. The myths I’ve collected mention that some plagues can turn people into powerful and insane bloodthirsty hunters who kill on sight…

But if we eliminate the lack of rationality, just enhancing strength, could it work?”

Lide’s thoughts whirled frenetically, his gaze as deep as the abyss.

It has to be said that this daring idea of his entirely contradicted common knowledge of glory; plague is plague, meant for killing and instilling fear. Who would think of using it to enhance strength?

“However, this is just a preliminary thought. Concrete conditions will require a great deal of experimentation to verify this idea…

If that’s the case, although I’m not suited for this Divine Position, Emi may well be.”

Thinking this, Lide suddenly smiled. He found that many aspects of the God of Plague suited Emi perfectly.

Because the target had received the baptism and transformation of the God of Plague’s Divine Power, Emi was able to use all of these things related to the Ancient Evil God.

He wasn’t even a good fit for Emi.

“This guy really is incredibly lucky, starting from his fall to become a Shadow Priest in the Knight God’s temple in Green City, he accidentally entered the Knight God’s Divine Country and didn’t die but instead glimpsed the Power of the Divine,

then was chased to near death by the bishops of the Knight Temple but at that time became a Bloodline and obtained eternal life,

not to mention getting trapped in Risier City, where far from meeting disaster under dire circumstances, he gained the Power of the Divine and even escaped unscathed.

Now, after escaping, he’s also well-suited to the power of the God of Plague, not only seizing the chance for a transcendent breakthrough but also compatible with the Divine Position…”

Lide couldn’t help but feel a mixture of laughter and tears when he thought about Emi, the blasphemer, and the series of encounters after he became a Bloodline.

Others struggle their whole lives and never get such things; this guy just lies down and wins, so lucky that Lide could only feel envious.

If not for this guy being his Bloodline, Lide would almost believe he was a chosen child, which was truly more genuine than the constructed Destiny Heroes like the half-centaur with the Gale Bloodline – Guiedo and Prince Risle.

Shaking his head without thinking too much about it, he opened the property panel of the horn in his hand.

Plague Horn

Quality: Divine-level

Unique Trait: Plague God Position (Contains the origin power of the God of Plague, and after obtaining this weapon, you can control a part of the Plague God Position)

Introduction: This is an incredibly rare and precious treasure, containing the origin power of the God of Plague, which can be absorbed to gain a part of the Plague God Position, but one must withstand the backlash of Ancient power.

The introduction was as simple as ever, the horn didn’t even come with skills.

But it was this simple introduction that was enough to drive everyone mad.

A Divine Position, something countless Legendary Strongmen dream of, is the ultimate Glory, surpassing all the boundaries of power.

Now, it was in Lide’s hands.

Whether he absorbed it or someone else did, it meant touching the power of a god.

“It’s a pity, if it were a Blood God Position, that would be a windfall…”

Lide shook his head with a tinge of regret.

Out of sight, out of mind, he waved his hand and placed the horn beneath the ground of the Land of Bone-Burying.

“This way, I have two Divine Artifacts that can enhance the power of the Bloodline…”

Compared to Divine Artifacts, these tools, Lide preferred to enhance the power of his subordinates.

Divine Artifacts, though strong, were objects after all; he couldn’t very well send an artifact to lead his troops, in the end, people had to do all of that.

And one’s own power was often the most fundamental core; despite the strength of Divine Artifacts, it required strong enough professionals to utilize them,

take the Eye of the Ancient Evil God for example, just the Magic Power consumed to activate it could make a Level 19 Great Mage pale.

Moreover, with the next few plans in mind, he needed stronger subordinates to execute them, like a king of a nation, the powerful forces in his hands were the capital for dominating the world.

Having put away the Plague Horn, Lide continued sorting through his next acquisition with a cheerful mood.

His eyes moved to the Land of Bone-Burying.

Opening the attribute panel.

Plane Size: diameter 2000 blades

Anchored Coordinates–Dawn City (can open a Space Gate within 800 kilometers in diameter of Dawn City to enter the Land of Bone-Burying)

Introduction: …

Every time Lide saw the data on the Land of Bone-Burying, he couldn’t help wanting to laugh out loud.

Although he had just spent 10 million Death Power to clear the soul mark of the God of Plague from the Eye of the Ancient Evil God, he still had 330 million Death Power.

What’s called a tycoon, this is, what’s called a big spender, this is…

Lide, who had been accustomed to being poor, had a feeling of sudden wealth as if he’d won a billion from a fifty-cent lottery ticket.

Previously, he had to split even a little bit of Death Power in two to use it, but now… the question is, how do you spend a few billion in cash? Online waiting, quite urgent.

“Let’s upgrade first, let’s activate the function of recruiting a Frost Giant Dragon first, my Nine Dragons Chariot is finally about to make its debut…

“Although I can’t capture a giant dragon outside, what’s stopping me from just raising one?”

Lide chuckled heartily, deciding he would soon make good on a boast he had made previously to summon nine Frost Giant Dragons that would do nothing but gallivant all day, pulling his carriage around.

After indulging in his whimsical fancy, with just a thought from Lide, the system alert immediately chimed.

“Ding~ Would you like to spend 1 million Power of Death to raise the Level of Land of Bone-Burying?”

“Yes.”

The moment he confirmed, whoosh~ though there was no wind, waves arose as the Power of Death whirled from the sky like a vortex, frantically flowing into the Plane Stone buried deep beneath the ground.

At that instant, Lide’s mage robe began to flutter slightly, matching his strikingly handsome face, exuding an indescribable coolness.

Moments later, Lide sensed that the Plane Stone had devoured enough power and then began transforming the Power of Death into Plane Power.

With an abundance of Plane Power spreading rapidly around, the fringe regions of the Land of Bone-Burying started to expand outward due to the powerful influence of the Plane Power.

The scene looked like something out of a chapel fresco depicting creation myths.

The entire Plane was expanding; the spatial barriers at its edge were extending into the depthless void, with its area increasing rapidly.

This upgrade process lasted for three Sunshine Hours; by the end of it, Lide simply merged his soul directly into the Land of Bone-Burying, personally experiencing the sensation of a Plane level increase.

It was mysterious and also drew him even more tightly to the Land of Bone-Burying.

Boom~

As the power within the Plane Stone was exhausted, the whole Land of Bone-Burying shook, and only then did the expansion trend cease.

Lide glanced at the attribute panel, and sure enough, the Land of Bone-Burying had indeed been elevated from Rare to the Advanced level, and its range had soared from a diameter of 2,000 blades to 5,000 blades.

But he didn’t stop there; he chose to upgrade once more.

Now he had an ample supply of Power of Death at his disposal, and the Level of the Land of Bone-Burying was of utmost importance, so it needed to be prioritized.

Common, Rare, Advanced, Perfect, Extraordinary, Legendary, Mythical… This was the complete upgrade chain for a Plane.

Advancing from Advanced to Perfect required ten times the Power of Death, reaching 10 million.

Of course, to the current Lide, the large dog owner, this was no issue at all, and without much thought, he chose to upgrade yet again.

Crack~ Crack~

Once the Plane Stone had absorbed enough Power of Death, the whole world widened again.

Lide, having just experienced the euphoria of the Plane upgrade, continued to integrate into the Land of Bone-Burying. The growth of the Plane felt like his own body growing, and that sensation was incredibly satisfying, even more so than a 9999-valued Super Greatsword.

The second upgrade lasted for five Sunshine Hours, and when the soul’s sensation of basking in hot springs faded away, Lide came back to his senses.

The Land of Bone-Burying, now at Perfect Level, had its attributes impressively boosted.

Its diameter increased from 5,000 blades to 10,000 blades, which translates to 10 kilometers.

The defensive wall he had constructed before the upgrade, standing 80 blades high with a diameter of 1,000 blades, had occupied a large area of the entire Land of Bone-Burying, but after reaching the Perfect Level, this circle seemed rather insignificant.

Lide opened the attribute panel and glanced at the attributes of the Land of Bone-Burying; his mood, which was fairly good until then, suddenly grew tense.

He found that things had now changed.

Land of Bone-Burying (Undead Plane)

Level: Perfect (Next level Extraordinary, upgrade requires 100 million Power of Death)

Power of Death: 322253902

“Advancing from Rare to Advanced requires 1 million Power of Death,

And from Advanced to Perfect requires 10 million, now from Perfect to Extraordinary it’s 100 million…”

The more Lide thought, the weirder his expression became.

“So by that logic, from Extraordinary to Legendary would require 1 billion?

Then… a Divine-level would need 10 billion???”

Lide’s temples throbbed.

As he looked at his own three billion Power of Death, it suddenly didn’t seem as appealing.

“Let’s just upgrade first. What if I’m overthinking it and after Extraordinary it’s not a tenfold increase but just double? That way I could ascend straight to the top level…”

Although he comforted himself for a moment, a bad premonition still emerged in Lide’s heart.

Go big or go home, he had already achieved perfection–why not upgrade to Extraordinary?

With a decisive conviction, his Power of Death plummeted from three hundred and twenty-two million to two hundred and twenty million in an instant.

The process of breaking through to Extraordinary for the Land of Bone-Burying took even longer than he anticipated. He continued to infuse his soul into the Plane Stone, once again reveling in the gratifying sensation of gradual expansion.

By the afternoon of the second day, September 22nd, the Land of Bone-Burying at Extraordinary Level had completed upgrading.

When Lide opened his eyes again,

he found that everything around him had changed.

The Land of Bone-Burying at the Extraordinary Level could no longer be compared with the Rare or Perfect Levels.

At this moment, the diameter of the Land of Bone-Burying had increased from 10,000 blades to 50,000 blades, which is 50 kilometers.

It had become a genuine small plane, rather than the miniature plane it was initially.

The greater change, however, was in the stability of space.

If previously, a Transcendent could easily twist the space within the Land of Bone-Burying, now even if the head of the God of Plague burst forth with that power again, it could only tear a piece of space three to five blades long, and could no longer tear through twenty to thirty blades of space as easily as before.

Of course, the original buildings, such as the defense walls 80 blades high and the alchemy towers more than a hundred blades high, had not collapsed due to the expansion of the plane, under Lide’s intentional protection.

Lide’s eyes narrowed slightly, and with his right hand extended, he could feel the endless power of space filling his hand.

With a wave of his hand, an indescribable force surged out, like a storm of Level 18 stirring up colossal waves.

A few breaths later, a giant grey hand, about 5,000 blades in length, appeared in the distant sky.

Like the resurrection of an ancient Demon God, it blotted out the sun and its mighty presence was like the mountains and seas.

After feeling that power, the corners of Lide’s mouth turned up very slightly, and then with a fierce downward press of his right hand, the giant hand spanning half the sky followed his action–descending from the heavens.

Boom~Boom~Boom~

The hand, like a mountain thousands of fathoms high, hammered down on the ground.

At that moment, the earth of the Land of Bone-Burying broke apart, and countless skeletons splashed up a hundred blades high.

A terrifying surge of air, like a storm, blasted in all directions, with the lifted skeletons mixed within it, the scene resembled demons from hell crawling out of the abyss.

It took a full five minutes for the Land of Bone-Burying to return to calm.

Looking at the spot where the giant hand had struck the ground, a clear imprint of five fingers appeared, with the surface collapsing another fifty blades downward…

“This feeling, it’s more than tenfold stronger than the Plane Power I was able to mobilize before…”

Lide couldn’t help but feel uplifted at the sight, barely able to conceal his excitement in his eyes.

“Even if I have not reached the Transcendent level, within the Land of Bone-Burying, I can unleash a force stronger than that of the Transcendent.”

With the Plane Power on him, Lide was an unbeatable existence in the Land of Bone-Burying unless someone had the power to forcefully confront the entire Land of Bone-Burying.

“This is an incredibly strong trump card.”

“No wonder in the mythological legends, the divines mostly stayed within their own Divine Country. As long as they are grounded in the Divine Country, they are in an invincible position…”

“This feeling is just too wonderful…”

Even with Lide’s temperament, he felt somewhat intoxicated at this time.

The whole plane was revolving around him, and he could freely mobilize the plane’s power, far stronger than his own. That feeling was indescribably potent.

After an excited experience for a while, Lide then turned his attention to the attribute panel of the Land of Bone-Burying.

The Land of Bone-Burying at the Extraordinary Level had undergone significant changes.

Land of Bone-Burying (Undead Plane)

Level: Extraordinary (Next level Legendary, upgrading requires 10 billion Power of Death)

Power of Death: 223,253,902

Traits: Capable of growth, Undead transformation

Special Troops: Frost Giant Dragon (Can spend Power of Death at the Skeleton Altar to recruit the ultimate Undead troop – Frost Giant Dragon. The stronger the recruited Frost Giant Dragon’s power, the more Power of Death it consumes)

Special Building: Skeleton Altar (Damaged, can be repaired with Power of Death) to accelerate the transformation of Transcendent-level Undead Life.

Special Area: Land of Corruption (Basic, 100 blades in diameter), Land of Corruption (Advanced, 1,000 blades in diameter)

Plane Area: Diameter of 50,000 blades

Anchored Coordinates – Dawn City (Can open a Space Gate within a 2,000 kilometer radius of Dawn City to enter the Land of Bone-Burying)

Introduction: This is a Rare plane with growth potential, once controlled by a powerful divine, now it is re-blooming with Glory.

Not bad, not bad at all, Lide thought, his smile growing even more brilliant after reading the attributes.

The distance that the Space Gate could be opened had increased from a diameter of 800 kilometers to a diameter of 2,000 kilometers,

which meant that as long as one is within 1,000 kilometers of Dawn City, they could directly enter Dawn City through space.

1,000 kilometers, that could directly open a space from Dawn City to Dwarf Valley.

What did that represent?

In the future, the risks of Dawn City being exposed would be greatly minimized.

And the most important point was that it could significantly reduce the time needed for travel, further enhancing the production efficiency of Dawn City.

Because of the existence of this tool, the Space Gate, the Land of Bone-Burying had already become the production engine of Dawn City, with an astonishing role.

In other aspects, it was manageable, but the Space Gate was an absolute killer in production.

After the Land of Bone-Burying was upgraded to the Transcendent level, the Plane Power became so powerful that it could open more Space Gates with less consumption.

The benefits this brought were almost indescribable.

Lide grew more and more excited as he thought about it.

For example, Dawn City was about to develop the Moonlight Plain, where he would establish an agricultural town and even an industrial area later, as he had already used up the land on the Moonlight Plain.

With the Transcendent-level Land of Bone-Burying, he could permanently set up a few Space Gates within the towns on the Moonlight Plain, directly connecting them with Dawn City, eliminating the need to consider the distance.

Even he could establish towns hundreds of kilometers away from Dawn City, on the other side of the Moonlight Plain, without worrying about transportation between them.

Eventually, Dawn City would become an unbeatably huge mega-city.

The future Dawn City might have countless satellite towns, with Space Gates becoming a standard facility, allowing residents even hundreds of kilometers away to reach Dawn City in the blink of an eye.

Lide’s thoughts began to wander, and he was very excited at the thought of a scene that could only be realized in this magical world.

If the scene he envisioned truly came to be, then Dawn City would become a paradise divine kingdom only found in myths.

Moments later, Lide reluctantly shook his head, reigning in his wandering thoughts, as this was bound to be a long process of investment without short-term results.

After regaining his focus, he turned his attention to the next priority.

The ultimate undead creature–the Frost Giant Dragon.

After the Land of Bone-Burying reached the Transcendent level, he could finally recruit Frost Giant Dragons.

God knows how long he had been coveting this ultimate troop.

The Nine Dragons Chariot would soon emerge.

“But do I need to use the White Bone Altar for this recruitment?”

Lide’s thoughts stirred, and he reviewed the system’s introduction again, and moments later information flowed into his mind.

“I just need to input Power of Death… and then wait for the White Bone Altar to deliver?”

Having read the system information, Lide’s eyes immediately lit up. With one step, he appeared above the twelve-layer White Bone Altar.

The crack that the Twelve-winged Blazing Angel had sliced open was especially evident.

This altar had once been a place where Evil God believers summoned the Undead gods, and it was also built by the hands of the God of Skeleton himself.

Approaching the altar, Lide’s thoughts moved, and he opened the altar’s attribute panel.

Skeleton Altar

Status: Damaged (Damage degree 37%, recruitment or conversion of undead requires 37% more Power of Death), can be repaired using Power of Death.

Features:

Conversion (Can accelerate the conversion of Transcendent-level and above Undead Life)

Recruitment (Can recruit high-level Undead Life through the White Bone Altar)

Introduction: This is an ancient Undead Clan Divine altar built by the deity themselves, possessing miraculous power. However, it’s now damaged, causing an increased consumption of power when used.

37% damage?

Lide frowned; the extra percentage of Power of Death consumed was terribly annoying.

It felt like a scam that could bleed him dry if he wasn’t careful.

Without hesitation, and with over two billion Power of Death left, he silently commanded the system to repair, and immediately a system notification sounded.

“Ding~ Would you like to spend 37 million Power of Death to repair the Skeleton Altar?”

It also costs thirty-something million Power of Death?

The corner of Lide’s mouth twitched. He had been too careless and hadn’t expected the system to be so unreasonable, casually erasing hundreds of millions of Power of Death.

But at this point, he was resolved, even if it meant facing a burly English strongman of over two hundred pounds.

“Yes.”

After his affirmation, the Power of Death from 223,253,902 dropped to 186,253,902 with a swish.

Then the twelve-layer White Bone Altar was immediately enveloped by the surging Power of Death.

The Power of Death, like something that could melt bones, slowly dissolved the cracked parts and then bonded them together again, quickly fusing into one.

In less than ten minutes, 37 million Power of Death was consumed, and the twelve-layer White Bone Altar, once split by the sword of the Twelve-winged Blazing Angel, was restored to its normal condition.

But just as Lide was about to start summoning, there was a sudden clacking noise, and the White Bone Altar seemed to come to life, emitting a chilling coldness that could chill one’s spine upon a single glance.

Lide raised an eyebrow and directly connected to the Plane Stone, and then the interior of the White Bone Altar appeared before him.

The core runes and arrays of the White Bone Altar began to slowly repair under the abundant Power of Death; this altar was not simply a stack of bones, and the external damage was just a scar.

The noisy clattering lasted for half a day before subsiding.

When Lide looked again, the damaged state of the White Bone Altar had vanished, returning to normal.

He nodded slightly, excitement slowly emerging in his eyes.

After a bath, it was time for the real work.

Summoning the Frost Giant Dragon.

It had to be said that Lide was quite enamored with the idea of this ultimate life form that existed only in legend.

After all, that idiotic Bone Dragon had completely ruined his impression of the Undead, and there was also that cow he raised…

Damn, it even gnawed away at the seal of the Ancient Evil God, peculiar as hell. Now the Cow Bone Undead, having consumed Divine Substance from the Plague God’s skull, had hidden away in his underground palace, who knows what it was plotting…

Thinking of this, Lide couldn’t help but shake his head, hoping to summon a more normal Undead this time.

“The system upgrade says, the more Power of Death I gather, the stronger the Frost Giant Dragon will be…”

“Let’s start with ten million to test the waters…”

No more hesitation. Following the information provided by the system, he began to infuse Power of Death into the White Bone Altar before him.

As for the Angel Wings floating above the White Bone Altar, Lide chose to ignore them. That feather was the main consumer of Power of Death. He was on a tight budget now, with no spare cash for pleasures.

The air turned ominously dark due to the Power of Death.

Powerful gusts of Death Energy swallowed the sparse light.

The originally pale skeletons of the White Bone Altar emitted a faint white light after absorbing Death Energy. However, this white light was not the sanctity of Power of Faith, but a chilling, eerie sense of terror.

As Death Energy accumulated, a massive phantom began to form above the White Bone Altar.

Lide felt a sensation in his heart. He could feel that the Land of Bone-Burying was mobilizing the soul marks once imprinted in the Plane Stones.

Having all the memories of the Land of Bone-Burying, he naturally knew how many terrifying lives this Plane forged by the Evil God had birthed.

Most of these life-forms’ soul marks dissipated with the collapse of the Bone-Burying Plane, leaving only the soul mark of the ultimate troop, the Frost Giant Dragon.

In other words, his summoning of the Frost Giant Dragon was not creating something out of nothing, but the Land of Bone-Burying was reconstructing their souls based on the Frost Giant Dragon’s soul mark, bestowing them with new bodies.

Even so, it was terrifying enough.

With the insane gathering of Death Energy, the phantom on the White Bone Altar gradually solidified.

Suddenly, large pieces of skeleton began to rise from the ground. These bones, as if held by a giant hand, were pieced one by one onto the ghostly giant dragon’s body.

Inside the Land of Bone-Burying, above the twelve-level White Bone Altar, the phantom of a giant dragon took shape amidst endless Power of Death, with bones actively flying to build its body – a scene as miraculous as it was heart-shattering.

Even Lide found himself mesmerized by this spectacle.

This was the proper unfolding of the Magic World.

He was witnessing the birth of the ultimate Undead troop!

As more and more bones accumulated, the shape of the dragon’s body became clearer.

The interconnected bones began absorbing Death Energy, fusing into a true dragon’s body under the influence of the powerful energies, like clay slowly molding together.

Lide was astounded by the sight.

It was magical. Without witnessing this scene with his own eyes, he couldn’t have imagined its grandeur.

But just when Lide thought the process would continue until the Frost Giant Dragon was fully formed, a sudden system prompt made his heart skip a beat.

“Ding~ Detected Divine Substance diffusing in the air, fulfilling the conditions for constructing an Extraordinary Giant Dragon’s soul. Would you like to spend 100 million Power of Death to upgrade the Frost Giant Dragon under construction to Extraordinary?”

This is possible?? Was he blessed by the Goddess of Luck today??

What is a sudden joy? This is it.

After being stunned for a moment, Lide’s smile burst forth, beaming from ear to ear.

“Ding~ To summon an Extraordinary Level Frost Giant Dragon, Divine Substance must be consumed. The Divine Substance in the air is dissipating. Please make your choice quickly.”

The system’s second prompt snapped Lide back to reality, his face amused. Was there really a choice to make? Was he expected to choose to give up?

“Confirm upgrade.”

After making the choice, the once-abundant Power of Death on his attribute panel plummeted–a sight that made the corners of Lide’s mouth twitch.

Only because he had struck it rich in the past few months did he afford this Extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon. Otherwise, it would have been out of reach.

Moments ago, he felt like a boundless tycoon, only to be reduced to a humble 76 million Power of Death. While still a luxurious amount by previous standards, it clearly wasn’t as durable.

Sigh, still too young. He had thought he could live the wealthy landlord life, but it turned out he was still a modest peasant…

Lide had no time to ponder further. After choosing to promote the Frost Giant Dragon, the surroundings became even dimmer, as if a terrifying Demon was being birthed, filling the air with a cold breath that could send shivers down one’s spine.

And as the White Bone Altar received over a hundred million Power of Death, the white light radiating from its bones illuminated a hundred-blade radius, but the chilling sensation intensified.

Suddenly, with sharp eyes, Lide noticed that within the original defensive walls, bright grey energy shards began to rise from the high-level Land of Corruption.

After a slight perception, he understood–these were the diffusing Divine Substances.

“Some of these were from Fierce Half-Ratmen who died but weren’t absorbed by the Divine Artifact, the Eye of the Ancient Evil God; others were scattered when Lide erased the soul marks of the God of Plague, a whole lot scattered all over.

At first, it was unimpressive, but after being gathered by the White Bone Altar, hundreds of tiny fragments flew out.

Though each fragment’s divine essence was extremely weak, when accumulated, they amounted to a substantial sum.

These divine fragments didn’t linger in the air for long, they poured directly into the skeletal dragon’s body above the White Bone Altar along with the ashen Power of Death.

The moment the divine fragments entered the skeletal dragon’s body, the already terrifying aura of this dragon’s body flared up as if a bucket of gasoline was poured onto a roaring fire, exploding instantly.

Meanwhile, the bones flying around sped up, and the rate of the dragon’s body’s assembly visibly increased.

After the bones were pieced together, under the influence of that powerful energy, they melted instantaneously to become the joints of the dragon’s body.

It took a full twenty minutes for the flying bones to cease, and upon looking again, the scene had become incredibly spectacular.

Above the twelve-tiered White Bone Altar, glowing with a ghastly white light.

A Bone Dragon, its wingspan 26 blades long, all composed of white bones, was audaciously unfurling its wings. Although the Soul Fire within its skull had yet to be ignited, the aura it emitted was enough to astonish anyone.

Underneath the colossal dragon body, four strong legs, sturdier than battering rams, stood erect, with sharp claws like deadly Daggers in an assassin’s hands.

Upon its broad back, a row of ruthless spines like short spears adorned it, while the damaged dragon wings made of bone segments bore hooks capable of tearing through steel with ease, and a long tail like a steel whip with a spear tip at its end, sharp and unmatched.

This was a Frost Giant Dragon far more dominating than any Withered Bone, not just in size, but in its very construction.

Around it, the Power of Death swirled madly into the newly crafted dragon body post-construction.

The once somewhat loose and fragile dragon body began to tighten under the wash of powerful energy and started to emanate a hard luster.

Finally, every part of the body was as if forged from a thousand hammer blows, harder than steel.

This Extraordinary Level Frost Giant Dragon had been under construction for a full Sunshine Hour, and after it had achieved perfection under the forging of the Power of Death.

Lide felt a stir in his heart, sensing an awe-inspiring power surging within the head of the still and silent dragon carcass in front of him.

Like the eye of an 18th level storm, calm yet with an explosive pressure around it, intense enough to make one’s courage falter.

Boom–

A thunderous boom suddenly erupted in the sky over the Land of Bone-Burying.

From above the ninth heaven, a dazzling bolt of Thunder, as if heralding a mountain’s collapse, thunderously descended.

In that moment, the whole world was illuminated by that singular flash.

The lightning strike was so quick that Lide hardly recognized its form before it vanished.

Crackle–

The bolt of lightning seemed to have a targeted aim, striking directly upon the skull of the dragon’s body.

Then in that instant, Lide saw blue sparks ignite within the hollow, dead skull of the dragon.

These sparks, the second after they appeared, set the entire skull alight like burning grease.

Boom–a sound of flame eruption, and instantly, a blinding blue fire blazed forth.

The Soul Fire of this Extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon was ignited.

An indescribable, horrifying presence rose from the Frost Giant Dragon, and the temperature of the surrounding air plummeted by dozens of degrees.

Even the ground made of bones was swiftly covered with a layer of frost.

A true Frost Giant Dragon.

And with the rise of that chill, another even more terrifying presence emerged.

Even Lide felt the impact of that aura–Dragon Power.

The unique intimidating presence of giant dragons, the symbol of ultimate beings.

Roar–

Though its throat lacked flesh, this Extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon let out a dull, low growl.

“I am awakened from the ancient times…”

With a dry and deep draconic language, these words echoed inside the Land of Bone-Burying, to which Lide reacted with a particularly subtle expression.

Does this Frost Giant Dragon retain memories from its past??

Hoo-hoo–

Before he could ponder further, atop the twelve-tiered White Bone Altar, the freshly reborn Extraordinary Giant Dragon suddenly flapped its wings and took flight.

That terrifying Dragon Power filled every corner of the Land of Bone-Burying.

It seemed as if the world held only this Extraordinary being’s image.

Soaring the skies, it looked down upon the world with contempt.

Witnessing this, Lide’s brow twitched, and he directly spoke.

“Do you still have your previous memories?”

But to his surprise, the Frost Giant Dragon made a sudden turn and landed heavily in front of him, then lifted its head high, looking down at him with disdain.

“Pitiful human, was it you who awakened me? Speak, what reward do you desire…”

???

Lide’s face was full of question marks. Was this dumb Frost Giant Dragon joking??

He said with some disbelief.

“Are you sure you’re talking to me?”

The Frost Giant Dragon lifted its head even higher, its hollow eyes glaring at him from an angle.

“Pitiful human, could it be that speaking to the great Lord Frost has excited you to the point of losing your clarity?”

Lide: “…”

Seeing that Lide did not speak, the Frost Giant Dragon grew impatient and with a fierce flap of its wings, it soared into the sky again.

“Pitiful human, when you decide what reward you want, then ask me!

I haven’t spread my wings for hundreds of thousands of years…”

Lide’s mouth twitched fiercely when he heard this. Was this guy trying to rebel?

“I can feel my soul imprint engraved within this dragon’s soul, but there is a force preventing me from controlling it… Could it be because of divinity?”

ROAR~

The roar of the extraordinary giant dragon in the sky snapped Lide back to reality. Seeing the other’s unbridled behavior, his eyes narrowed slightly.

“Put aside whether it’s divine or not…

Did I give you permission to fly?”

He stretched out his right hand slightly, and then a giant grey hand of 5000 blades suddenly appeared above in the sky.

The entire sky was covered by it, like a primordial demon god had extended its palm, and it seemed like the next second, it would shatter the entire plane.

The extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon, with a wingspan of 26 blades, looked as small as an ant before this giant hand.

Sensing the sudden surge of power in the sky, the Extraordinary Level Frost Giant Dragon was suddenly startled, then, as if provoked, became extremely enraged and bellowed furiously.

“No matter what, there is no one who can defeat the great Lord Frost!!

Taste my Frost Dragon Breath!!”

Zzzt~ A dragon breath capable of freezing space spewed out towards the giant hand.

This action caused Lide’s brows to raise. Then, with a slight press of his right hand and his fingers clenching into a fist.

With just that one motion, the world changed color; mountains crumbled, and seas churned.

The Land of Bone-Burying seemed to tilt, and space itself trembled.

The Frost Dragon Breath from the extraordinary dragon, containing terrifying energy, was as harmless as a baby’s drool before the giant hand.

PUFF~

Under the coverage of the giant hand, there was nowhere to hide.

The dragon with a wingspan of 26 blades was caught effortlessly by the giant hand as if it were a baby chick.

Seeing this scene, Lide’s eyes were as cold as ice, and with a slight downward pressure of his right hand,

BANG~

A nuclear blast shook the heavens.

The earth shattered, and space fractured.

A wave of air mixed with white bones rose a hundred blades high, creating a storm-like gust within the Land of Bone-Burying.

The Extraordinary Giant Dragon, which had only just been strutting about, was now firmly pressed against the ground by the giant hand, creating a huge pit hundreds of blades wide and tens of blades deep around it.

And the Frost Giant Dragon being pressed to the ground, no matter how much power it unleashed, could not break free.

Facing this scene, Lide’s expression remained calm, this astonishing spectacle was merely a casual act for him.

He stepped forward and disappeared from the spot.

In the blink of an eye, he reappeared before the extraordinary Frost Giant Dragon, floating in the air, looking down at the Frost Giant Dragon that now resembled a dead dog pressed into the ground,

Slowly advancing.

Under the dragon’s angry and shocked gaze, he placed his foot directly onto the head of the extraordinary giant dragon.

His eyes were as sharp as a hawk, and a playful curve formed on his lips.

“Now, do you know who is the master?”
