Chapter 29: Touch of Passion

Every time William touched Anna, a wave of tiny shockwaves spread through her, igniting every nerve in her body. It was as if each brush of his fingers set off a chain reaction, lighting up her skin with electric heat.

But when he kissed her... it was different. Her body was suddenly drenched in ice-cold water, a sharp, jarring contrast that took her breath away. And then, as quickly as it came, she was thrust into a storm of searing flames that ignited her blood, setting her on fire in the most intoxicating way.

Was she really that starved for a touch of passion?

She tried to find an explanation for why her body responded so eagerly to him, as if she were an instrument and he, the musician, playing her every note. But the harder she searched for logic, the more tangled her thoughts became. Each question only led to more confusion, like a knot tightening with every attempt to untangle it.

No, she finally surrendered to the feeling, allowing herself to melt deeper into the kiss. I asked for this. I wanted to stop thinking. So, here goes nothing.

It was as if William sensed the storm brewing within her, for he leaned in even closer, his movements slow and deliberate as he helped Anna slide down onto the bed. His touch was gentle, yet firm as he grabbed her wrists again, guiding them above her head.

With his left hand, he held them together, his fingers cool against her warm skin, a contrast that only heightened the tension between them.

He pulled away just enough to break the kiss, his lips lingering for a breath before he whispered, his voice thick with desire, "You’re not here with me, Anna. I need you to focus on me. Only me."

A long sigh escaped her, her breath warm against his face, her chest rising and falling rapidly.

William’s eyes darkened with something raw as he licked his lips and then pressed them gently to her forehead, his kisses slowly trailing down her face. Each soft kiss left behind a tender, damp mark on her skin, a promise of more to come.

Anna’s lips trembled at the delicate pressure of his touch, the sensation sending a flutter of warmth through her.

William was already moving lower, his lips finding the curve of her neck, his breath hot against her skin. "That’s right," he murmured again, his voice a low whisper that sent a shiver through her. "Just let go of everything. Let go of the world. Focus on me. On you. On us. Nothing else matters."

He nibbled gently on the curve of her neck, leaving behind a soft pink mark—a clear sign of his possession.

It felt good, this ability to touch her freely—without restraint, without anything holding him back. He knew he was indulging his selfish desires, but in that moment, he didn’t care.

She needed him. Just as much as he needed her. They could make it work. As long as she trusted him.

Lost in his thoughts, William’s lips trailed slowly down to Anna’s chest. But then, he felt her tense, her body jerking away slightly, and he snapped back to reality.

She was reacting like a virgin—stiff, embarrassed, yet vulnerable. Her body trembled at every touch, every brush of his lips, flinching away as if each movement startled her. Yet, despite her reaction, William found it incredibly enticing.

It was almost... adorable, seeing her so innocent, so unaware of her own allure. But beneath that tenderness, an angry flame flared up inside him.

Had that bastard, Robert, never treated her with warmth? Her body was so responsive, so sensual, yet she quivered at every hint of desire, as if she were terrified to let herself feel pleasure.

"Anna," he murmured softly, peeling his lips away from her skin just to say her name. "I’m not going to hurt you. Not now, not ever. You said you wanted this... so let go. Allow yourself to embrace it all."

Anna’s face flushed with embarrassment, her heart racing. It felt so ridiculous. She was thirty, for heaven’s sake. She’d been married for years! Why, then, did she feel so nervous?

It was true, Robert had never given her either passion or tenderness, so she wasn’t accustomed to feeling her body respond this way. But that didn’t mean she didn’t want it. On the contrary, she loved it. And that, more than anything, terrified her.

Because those who made her feel good could just as easily make her writhe in agony.

Without warning, William’s warm hand slid under the hem of her loose white t-shirt, his long fingers brushing over the soft curve of her breast. The sensation was like an electric shock that jolted Anna out of her thoughts, leaving her head spinning.

A soft moan escaped her lips, but she fought the urge to let out anything louder. William, however, swallowed her sounds with a kiss, his tongue plunging into her mouth with unexpected hunger.

It was an intoxicating blend of emotions, a cocktail that sent her spiraling into dizzying pleasure. As his tongue moved restlessly against hers, his hand roamed over her tender body, exploring every curve with slow, deliberate touches, making a mental note of the places where she reacted most.

Soon, Anna’s breath became shallow, and she had to pull away, panting to catch her breath. William didn’t relent, smirking as he leaned down again, his lips moving lower, and capturing her nipple between them. He rolled it gently between his teeth, teasing her with a light pressure that made her gasp.

He couldn’t stop. Everything about her—her graceful shape, the soft warmth of her skin, the intoxicating scent of her that clouded his mind like a drug—drove him to the edge. Yes, he was losing control. He could hardly hold back anymore.

"Haa..." Anna’s breathless gasp brushed over the top of his head, the sound stoking the fire of desire within him. His free hand slid lower, fingers slipping under the fabric of her clothes. A brief sigh escaped him as he realized how wet she already was, her body betraying her growing arousal.

He released her wrists, pulling her pants and underwear down in one smooth motion, spreading her legs wider as he did. To his satisfaction, she didn’t resist. Instead, she let him have his way, her body yielding to him, and it only drove him further into madness.

"Good girl," he whispered, his voice low and approving. Anna moaned, her face flushing a deep red as she instinctively covered it with both hands.

"Don’t hide your face," William murmured, his words laced with amusement. With a sly grin, he slid her clothes off completely, his gaze never leaving her. "You’ll need your hands free—to grip the sheets."

At his command, he spread her legs wider, his eyes darkening with intent. Without hesitation, he lowered his head, his hot, wet tongue immediately finding her most sensitive spot.

Anna’s body jerked at the sudden contact, her nails biting into the fabric of the sheets beneath her. Her lips trembled from the shock of the sensation, unable to contain the mix of pleasure and embarrassment coursing through her.

William was right—she needed something to hold onto. Without it, she would have been completely lost in the overwhelming sensation.
