I Became My Healer Elf Character
Chapter 148 - 148: Happiness and Love (End)

Several months had passed after Hikari's wedding with Kurayami. In the meantime, she had gotten married to both Mizuko and Syndra. Originally, Ayase was supposed to take the second or third place spot, but Hikari's mind changed. She saved Ayase for last, so that she could have a huge surprise for the witch.

The two of them stood at the very top of Mount Everest on Earth. The witch looked around on the peak of the world in astonishment. It was only those two who stood there.

Finally, Ayase let out a soft breath. "Why did you choose this place of everywhere?"

"I wanted to make two of your greatest wishes come true," Hikari said.

The elf looked down at her own figure. She was covered from head to toe in a new white dress. The old one had been torn to ribbons by a certain dragon. She placed a hand on her stomach, and a small bump greeted her. Indeed, the dragon had fulfilled her promise. Kana was cooking in Hikari's oven...What kind of baby would unfold between the meeting of a dragon and an elf? That question still lingered.

On Hikari's wrist, there was the bracelet that sanctified the dragon's vows. On Hikari's neck, there was a new marking. A black thistle swirled around her neck, and on the front, there was a beautiful rose fanning out. The signal that she had become a vampire's possession. Hanging from her ears, there were two earrings. She wore a matching pair with her cat, and all of these contained their promises.

"My greatest wishes?" Ayase asked. She took a knee and grabbed onto Hikari's hand. "My greatest wish is right here."

The witch slipped a diamond studded ring onto Hikari's left ring finger and kissed it. "With this, we will be able to spend an eternity together. What more could I possibly want?"

Hikari smiled and pulled the witch up to her chest. The elf's two assets had gotten noticeably bigger in such a short period of time.

Her lips enveloped Ayase's in a sensual kiss. The two shared a moment at the very top of the world. Where almost no one had ever dared to go. Though, to them, this was the same as being on the surface. There was no difference if it was the top of the world or not. Flags were planted all around them, yet Hikari had the best idea of what to plant.

"Stand back," the elf said.

She reached into her inventory as Ayase obeyed her command. Two little seeds were still there. Both of Ayase's parents were there. Hikari used both the hope and despair magic resting within her. The two swirled around and joined together into a great seed.

[Divine Seed of Love]

Hikari smiled and dug out a small hole on the mountaintop.

"What are you…"

Ayase had started to say something, but the noise was drowned out by what happened next.

The moment Hikari's seed touched the soil. The thing sprouted. An eruption formed all around them, and the entire Earth seemed to quake.

Hikari sprouted her wings and grabbed Ayase, pulling her away from the epicenter. In seconds, an enormous tree formed and pierced through the heavens. A vivid glow surrounded the planet on all sides.

Everywhere on Earth news broadcasts started reporting a strange light. It didn't take them long to pinpoint Mount Everest, but by then, the deed had already been done.

Leaves sprouted from the tree in space at the very edge of the atmosphere. The branches covered the sky, and magic flowed into the veins of the Earth. It spread across China, India, and the rest of Asia. It penetrated the ground and spread into the water.

It flew into the air across the seven seas. No corner of Earth was spared from the influx of magic power, and at the center of it all was this newly grown [Tree of Love].

So many questions hung on Ayase's quivering lips. No doubt, she wondered what the purpose of this new formation was. What would it mean to the future of society on Earth?

However, one part of that question was answered. A rumbling at the base of the tree started, and a massive wooden gate opened up to the interior. White light shone from the inside of the tree's divinity, and seconds later, Ayase's deep wish was realized.

Two figures stumbled out of the tree hand in hand. A warm green glow spread around their bodies. Bark formed on pieces of their skin, yet their visages were unmistakable to the witch.

Ayase's eyes widened as she took in the sight of her parents. She struggled in Hikari's arms.

The elf flapped her wings and lowered both of them onto a new wooden platform. The grand entrance to the divine tree.

"Mom! Dad!" Ayase shouted as she ran forward.

The two of them showed an equally surprised expression that quickly turned into smiles. They wrapped their arms around the witch in a tight hug. The highest peak of the world had turned into a reunion of love.

Tears flooded from the two parents' cheeks. They dripped onto the bark beneath them and turned into blooming flowers. The surrounding cold of the mountain had been replaced with a vivid new warmth.

Gone was the endless snow, and a colorful forest had formed on top of the new Mount Everest.

Ayase's mother peaked behind her to Hikari's visage. She was quiet for a while, but eventually, she could not hold it back anymore. "You...You're Hikari, aren't you?"

The elf nodded.

Ayase's mother—the divine dryad—rushed forwards and hugged Hikari. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter." Her tears continued to drop and spread magic to the forest around them. "I will be in your debt forever."

Hikari reciprocated the hug. "There is no need for any of that. Your debt has been paid, and I've taken your daughter as my wife. You can pay me by serving me with your eternal life."

The dryad's eyes widened. "Seriously?"

Hikari chuckled and shook her head. "That was a joke, but now you two can spend forever together and with your…"

Before she could finish, the two knelt enthusiastically in front of her. They spoke at the exact same time with the same words.

"We will serve you forever, Lady Hikari."

The elf felt her ears twitch in disbelief. Who had put them up to this?

Ayase giggled and placed a hand on Hikari's shoulder. "This is what you get for granting wishes. Now they will be in your care. I Hope you give them the same amount of love you've given me."

Hikari remembered the actions she performed with Ayase before and smiled wryly. "I think that won't be possible."

Ayase punched Hikari's shoulder playfully. "I didn't mean like that! You know what I meant...Didn't you?"

Mizuko appeared behind the two and smiled, showcasing her white fangs. "Of course, I know what you meant. It's just the mistress that needs punished…"

Syndra appeared next and hopped on top of Mizuko's shoulders. "How should we punish her this time? I don't know what we can do…"

Kurayami landed on the wooden floor with a heavy thud. "Wow, I like what you did to the place." The dragon looked up towards Syndra with an odd smile. "Leave it to a cat to find a high place to rest."

The dragon ran up behind Hikari impatiently and pressed her hand to the elf's stomach. "How is our little Kana doing? Are you eating okay, darling? I know you told us to wait, but we came as soon as the rumbling started."

Hikari sighed at the new worrywart she gained. "I understand you're worried about our child, but you need to calm down, okay?" The elf reached towards the dragon's face with her delicate hand and rubbed Kurayami's cheek. "There is no need to be so worried all of the time. And don't worry about showing up here either, I had a feeling this would happen."

The Goddess of Hope and Despair smiled and looked back towards the tree. "Today marks the beginning of a new era for all Earthlings. The planting of this tree brings forth the magic of other worlds. May this [Tree of Love] bring the same love that I have for my wives to this world."

Kurayami giggled and placed her hand on Hikari's shoulder. "Being dramatic really suits you. You could be an actress, you know. But I think there is one thing you're forgetting."

"There is?"

The dragon nodded. "This is why you are so silly...You still haven't even named the first world you created."

Hikari's eyes went wide. "I haven't!"

Amelia and Aiko walked hand and hand, trailed by little Nona and her older brother Kai. The two were walking around the trophy room when they felt a surge of magic power next to them. They looked towards the globe that had never held a name on the plaque, and slowly, Japanese symbols appeared.

Amelia looked at it blankly. "Ureshi?"

Aiko smiled and rubbed her hand across the plaque.

"Happy."
