Ihelos City, Golden Coconut Inn,

Lis and Taya stepped into the inn, and as soon as they observed the surroundings, someone approached them.

"Is there anything the two guests need?"

Lis glanced over and his eyes brightened.

Appearing before him was a maiden whose face was as fresh and lovely as a newly blooming flower, like the gentlest spring breeze brushing softly over one's heart. She was dressed in a simple gray maid outfit, her golden hair cascading down to her waist, and though her attire was plain, her pure and noble demeanor was unmistakable. A slim satin ribbon encircled her waist, outlining her graceful figure.

A faint smile played on her lips, her smile pure and infectious, like the friendly girl next door, making people instinctively want to come closer. Her light brown eyes twinkled with humor and warmth, seemingly hiding a few playful secrets.

With a smile on his face, Lis spoke to the maiden in front of him:

"I am a traveler from Ambundo City, named Lis, and I've come to Ihelos to attend the Gur Festival."

"Could you please arrange a room for me and my wife?"

Speaking, Lis pulled Taya over, hugging her close.

Taya's gray-violet eyes looked at Lis with a touch of shyness, her face turned a little red, yet she obediently snuggled into Lis's embrace.

She had noticed Lis's gaze lingered on the maiden for a moment earlier, causing a tiny flicker of jealousy, but now she had none of that in her mind.

Lis gazed at the golden-haired maiden before him, maintaining a smile on his face while his eyes remained calm, even as his spirit tensed, carefully observing the maiden closely.

The maiden in front of him was exceedingly beautiful, but not enough to make Lis lose his composure.

Since his rebirth, Lis had seen quite a number of stunning beauties.

Not to mention that the women around him now, like Taya, Risa, Angela, and Daphne, were on par with the maiden before him.

But what were the identities of those familiar to Lis?

Taya and Risa both were future Legendary strongmen, and Daphne was no less remarkable, all possessing Legendary-level talents.

As for Angela, she was directly the Divine Son of Cain, the Bloodline Ancestor, destined to at least achieve Legend status in the future.

Although not every woman's appearance relates to strength, reaching the level of Taya or Risa without certain power or background would easily arouse the covetous eyes of Extraordinary Professionals, with no ability to protect oneself.

Moreover, based on Lis's experience in "Divine Revelation," the more appealing female characters were, the bigger the troubles lurking behind them.

However, the golden-haired maiden in front was merely an inn maid, and Lis felt she was just an ordinary person with no Extraordinary Ability.

Was she possibly a descendant of some notable figure, like the child of the Ihelos City Lord, experiencing life here?

Lis started to be cautious but had no intention to act impulsively.

Might this golden-haired maiden be related to some region-specific quest?

Was his luck really this good?

No sooner had he entered the city, he may have encountered a key figure?

The maiden hadn't noticed Lis's scrutinizing gaze. Instead, she looked at Lis and Taya, saying:

"You are attending the Gur Festival, aren't you? Don't worry, it won't disappoint!"

"Our inn currently has plenty of empty rooms, a double room costs one silver coin per day, including meals. Do you need one?"

Lis did not sense anything amiss and said to the maiden:

"Prepare a room for me, please."

"Okay!"

The maiden nodded and led the way for Lis and Taya.

Following the maiden, Lis and Taya arrived at the second floor of the inn, entering a guest room on the east side.

"This is the room. Do you find anything unsuitable?"

The maiden smiled and blinked at Lis as she spoke.

"No, it's quite nice."

Lis took a look around; the room was arranged simply but kept very clean.

Besides a double bed, there was a small table and two chairs, along with a cabinet against the wall.

The maiden opened the previously closed window, allowing sunlight to stream in, brightening the room; through the window, one could faintly see the distant oasis lake and orchard.

"Then I'll leave you two alone."

Finished speaking, the maiden prepared to leave the room.

"Thank you, what's your name?"

Lis looked at the maiden, smiling as he inquired.

"Me?"

The golden-haired maiden tilted her head slightly, glancing at Lis with some curiosity in her eyes.

Her golden hair fell gently from her shoulders, gleaming warmly and subtly in the sunlight.

A bit puzzled by why Lis would suddenly ask for a maid's name, the maiden hesitated for a moment before replying:

"I'm Jue."

"Alright Jue, if I'd like to dine, is it on the first floor of the inn?"

Lis nodded, smiling as he spoke.

"Yes, yes, and if you wish, let me know, and I can bring dinner to your room."

"I'll keep that in mind and reach out if I need anything."

After speaking, Lis took out a Gold Coin and handed it to Jue.

"This...is too much, Mr. Lis."

Jue seemed startled, shaking her head repeatedly, afraid to accept it.

Though previous guests had sometimes given her a small tip, none had ever handed her a Gold Coin, such a "fortune."
