I am Villain Cultivator -
Chapter 60: Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra
Chapter 60: Chapter 60: Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra
Kaal looked at the scroll glowing softly in his hand.
<<Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra>>, It is a Superior Legend-grade body cultivation.
The name alone carried weight. A body cultivation technique once used by the Founder himself, a legend whispered to have vanished along with him, lost to time and war. And yet, here it was, appearing as the reward for surviving the Founder clone’s brutal trial.
Kaal’s fingers trembled slightly, not from fear, but from the realization of what he now held.
This wasn’t just a technique. It was a path.
He slowly unraveled the scroll, and as his eyes swept over the ancient text, lines of condensed wisdom and brutal comprehension unraveled before him like a battlefield of intent. This was no peaceful Dao of harmony. It was a war manual for those who dared to use their body as a weapon to tear through fate itself.
He exhaled.
"So... this is what he meant."
Kaal thought back to the Founder clone Kilvish Arthur’s smiling reflection, the precise way he fought, and how he had waited patiently through Kaal’s Epiphany.
"The Founder realized my physique is extraordinary... but my ability to wield it is incomplete. On Earth, it would be like having a powerful engine and a strong car body but no gears to control it."
His voice was low. "That’s why... this technique was given as a second trial reward."
But this was no ordinary body cultivation technique.
"Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra".
It followed the forbidden path of the Seven-Star dantian method, a style so ancient, so heretical, that most sects had erased its name from their records.
Unlike conventional cultivation, which relied on a single Dantian as the core Qi reserve, the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra sought to rewrite the very foundation of existence.
Seven stages of cultivation. The seven stars act as the Seven Dantians.
Each stage forged a new "star" within the body, a separate Qi core, functioning independently yet harmoniously, forming a constellation of power housed within mortal flesh.
Kaal’s eyes gleamed with fierce determination.
No hesitation.
No fear.
He sat down in the lotus position at the center of the ruined trial arena, the sign of battle with the founder clone still lingering in the cracks around him.
He closed his eyes and began to chant the opening verse of the Heaven-Slaying Demon Sutra.
"To surpass the heavens, one must first become the Demon that devours them."
The moment the words left his lips, the world grew still.
The Qi in the air trembled. His blood surged. His bones groaned under unseen pressure. The Sutra had accepted him, and the first star had begun to awaken.
{ A month passed. }
A month of silence.
No food.
No water.
No motion.
Only cultivation.
Inside Kaal, storms of Qi raged and reshaped. His veins twisted. His meridians screamed. His muscles tensed like cords about to snap. The pain wasn’t just internal, it was molecular, tearing down the very structure of his existence.
And then—
It happened.
His body began to fracture like a cocoon breaking open.
His skin split, layer by layer, shedding blackened impurities that sizzled as they touched the air. His bones groaned, cracked, and then began to glow.
Golden.
His meridians reformed thicker, wider, like conduits built to carry floods of Qi. His organs surged with life, pulsing in perfect harmony, like the rhythm of an ancient beast reawakening.
It was agony.
But Kaal had known pain worse than this.
He had survived the mutation of the Origin Core, endured the rebirth that turned his hair white and his eyes blood-red. He had walked through fire and shadow.
This... was evolution.
He screamed once, but the sound never left his lips. It was swallowed by the storm within.
Then—
Silence is like the calm before the storm.
Kaal opened his eyes.
And for a moment, he didn’t breathe.
He felt it.
A second core.
A new Dantian, pulsing deep within his lower abdomen. It was smaller than his first but denser, more primal. Its surface shimmered faintly like a newborn star.
The First Star ( the Dawnforged Star) awakened.
He rose slowly, his feet touching the cracked stone as if the earth itself now recognized his weight.
Though his outer appearance hadn’t changed drastically, his presence had. There was a new density to his aura, a gravitational pull that twisted the air subtly around him.
He looked down at his hand, blood still wet across his knuckles.
But it wasn’t red anymore.
It was gold.
Not fully, but streaks of it pulsed through his veins, rich and luminous. His bone marrow had begun to change. Even his blood, now touched by the Sutra, had become a conduit for power.
"Golden blood..." Kaal whispered. "It can store more Qi. Circulate faster. Recover instantly."
He flexed his fingers.
They felt... heavier.
Stronger.
He closed his eyes again and bowed toward the remnants of the scroll that had dissolved into his soul.
"Thank you, Founder."
Then he looked up, his expression calm, but his gaze was sharp as a blade honed across death.
"This is only the First Star," he said. "And I became stronger than before."
Kaal sat cross-legged once again, his body still humming with residual energy.
Deep within his newly formed Dantian, a small, pulsing seed floated silently, mysteriously, yet filled with immense potential. It radiated heat and gravity like a newborn celestial body.
"This seed... what is it for?" he murmured.
But he did not have any answer. He checked the seed closely and found that it was pulsing.
Like its have a heartbeat, he became tense for a moment, but soon noticed that it was dangerous, so He let it be.
Kaal reached into his storage ring and retrieved a Rare-grade water pouch, a self-generating treasure that produced fifty liters of spirit-infused water daily.
He poured the contents over himself, washing away sweat, blood, and the remnants of metamorphosis. The water hissed as it touched his skin, evaporating near-instantly from the heat radiating from within.
Clean once more, he changed into fresh robes.
Then the hunger hit. Like a hammer to the gut, He stumbled, clutching his stomach.
He needed meat.
He retrieved a large slab of Fire Stribe Tiger meat from his storage ring. A Rank-3 Spirit Beast, infamous for its explosive Qi and fire-aspected muscle.
Kaal didn’t cook it.
He didn’t need to.
He devoured it raw, ripping into it like a predator. Each bite stoked the furnace in his belly.
"This new body cultivation... it burns everything. Spirit meat isn’t a luxury anymore. It’s fuel."
After licking the last trace of blood from his hand, Kaal sat back.
"The manual said one star equals the Warrior Rank. To reach Foundation Realm, I need to form the second star."
He recalled the warning:
"It takes three years. The mortal body must adjust to bear the second star."
But he was no ordinary mortal.
He bore the Myriads of Thousand Demon Body.
He could handle it.
He began cultivating once more.
{ Two months later }
CRACK!
A sound like thunder from within.
His skin darkened and turned iron. His eyes blazed.
He gritted his teeth but made no sound. He was growing used to the pain.
This wasn’t torment, it was shedding.
He opened his eyes and pinched his forearm. The skin turned black. Hardened.
He raised his fingers. Blade Qi formed.
He slashed.
Clink.
The Qi blade bounced off. No mark. No wound.
"So... the second star gives me enhanced defense."
Deep within his second Dantian, a black star now spun.
He named it:
The First Star (The Iron Devourer Star) awakened.
The First Star had given enhanced recovery, made his bones golden, which is more powerful and stronger than before, and this can now fully withstand the pressure of a myriad of thousands of demon bodies.
This one forged resilience, made his skin metallic iron, and enhanced his defence.
"Now, let’s get to the final trial," Kaal said, and leave the strength trial room.
