I am Villain Cultivator
Chapter 29: Clash of Fire and Blood

Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Clash of Fire and Blood

The morning sun filtered through the dense foliage of Verdant Deathwood. A humid breeze stirred the leaves as Kaal moved silently through the underbrush, his right arm still wrapped in bandages from yesterday’s clash. Suddenly, his steps halted, and he sensed a presence.

Across the clearing, Divya stood still, both of them staring at each other, on one side was

Kaal Kilvis had black eyes that were unreadable, a right arm bandaged, and an axe resting on his shoulder.

On the other side was

Divya, the blue-haired girl with emerald eyes, her aura pulsing with fierce intent, flames flickering at her fingertips.

The moment their eyes locked, Kaal’s Hell Asura Bloodline surged to the surface, growling for dominance, craving the essence blood flowing within Divya’s veins. A dark hunger awakened in him. The bloodline wanted to devour her.

Divya felt it too.

The moment she saw Kaal, an instinctive alarm screamed inside her. Her Qi flared up unconsciously, and her body slid into a combat stance. This wasn’t a normal opponent. He was a dangerous feral.

"I don’t want to fight," Divya said cautiously, eyes narrowing. "But if you force me... I won’t hold back."

Kaal tilted his head slightly, his voice low but filled with domineering calm.

"Then don’t hold back. But remember... the moment you hesitate, you die."

Flames erupted behind Divya as she raised her arms, in both of her hands held a Chakram, raising her hand. She launched streams of controlled fire in Kaal’s direction. Her movements were fluid, graceful, and tactical. She was a long-range specialist, using the terrain to her advantage, and when the distance was closed, her chakrams became a whirling wall of death.

Kaal gritted his teeth as her chakram grazed his ribs. His right hand ached, still bandaged from the burst Qi backlash. Using only his left, he blocked, dodged, and countered with raw power and practiced instinct. He had only recently picked up the axe, but his foundation in swordsmanship and physical combat gave him a brutal edge.

Still, Divya was winning; her overbearing flame kept most of the Kaal Approach in check, and with the chakram, she was able to injure Kaal despite her lack of battle experience and 4th-stage Foundation Realm.

Her control of flame, precision, and reach overwhelmed him at first. Every swing of her chakrams carved the air with deadly momentum. Every wave of fire pushed him back.

Then, Kaal’s movements began to change despite having the First stage Foundation Realm, which is inferior to Divya cultivation, but with the physical strength provided by Myriads of Thousand Demon Body, he was able to keep Divya in check and fought fiercely.

His Mind Eye flared, and Kaal began to see her Qi flow, her muscle tension before movement, her stances and intentions. The chaos started to make sense. He adapted.

With a sudden lunge, he broke through her burning wall, the axe grazing her waist. He got too close to Divya, and her axe was just about to cut down Beautiful Girl.

Now she was on the back foot.

"Give up," Kaal said, eyes cold. "You’re already burned through too much Qi. Surrender... or die."

Divya growled. "In your dreams."

She stepped back, her eyes glowing fiercely. She raised both hands and screamed.

Black flame erupted.

It wasn’t just fire. It was flame that devoured the light, twisted the air, and turned the earth to ash. The trees around them withered in seconds. It was her Black Phoenix Bloodline flame.

Kaal froze. This was no ordinary flame.

His instincts screamed to flee.

Kaal backed away instinctively, but just as the inferno threatened to engulf him, he remembered. The image of General Ruke’s Qi Burst resurfaced. He inhaled deeply, focused his Azure Qi, and pushed the Qi flow through every pore of his body.

Kaal steadied his breath. He gathered his Azure Qi, and instead of attacking, he followed the Qi Burst flow, replicating the internal surge of the General Ruke Qi pattern flow.

His body ignited not in flame, but in a wave of invisible force.

Boom!

The flames clashed against the Qi burst and were pushed back. The air rippled.

Divya’s eyes widened in disbelief. "Impossible...!"

She froze for just one moment.

That was all Kaal needed.

Kaal appeared in front of her like a shadow.

With one clean swing, the axe slashed her shoulder, blood spraying across the charred earth.

She fell to her knees, panting, injured. Kaal raised his axe again to finish her.

But then—

A pulse of emotion emerges in Kaal’s eyes. His vision flickers. His grip trembled.

"Divya..." a voice echoed inside his mind. It was Raven’s voice. The Soul Orb’s side effect kicked in again. Kaal staggered. Pain lanced through his head.

Raven’s love for Divya surged like a curse, making his hands heavy.

Divya, seeing the hesitation, in the Kaal movement and used her remaining strength to flee, and she vanished into the dense trees.

Kaal stood frozen, blood dripping from his axe.

{ Inside His Soul }

Two souls are clashing, one Kaal soul other was the Raven remnant soul

Kaal’s eyes burned blood red. He saw Raven’s soul, grinning, mocking him.

"You hesitate... because you feel what I felt. She matters. You can’t hurt her," said Raven’s remnant soul. It was the first time the side effect of the Soul Orb served that he could hear Raven’s voice.

"Shut up," Kaal growled, his voice cold as ice. "You’re dead. And if I can kill you once,"

He stepped forward.

"I can kill you again. And again. You’re just a dead bug."

With sheer willpower, Kaal gripped Raven’s form and shoved him deeper into the abyss of his soul. The pain split his mind, but he held firm.

And once again, he won.

Outside the Tower

The scene of Kaal and Divya’s battle had become the center of attention.

Projected through the Nirvana Tower’s spirit, thousands watched in silence.

In the Vip viewing pavilion, sat the great powers.

Charles Kilvis, face unreadable, but if someone looks closely, they can see an embarrassment in Charles’ face. ’ that brat is so brute, he doesn’t even consider teaming up with a beautiful girl, but to decide to use force, from the start, sometimes I wonder he is really my son’ thaught Charles in his mind.

Elder Alvin sat with his lips tight in contemplation, his sharp gaze fixed on the projection. Watching his granddaughter, Divya, exchange fierce blows with one of the Twin Shadow Dragons, Kaal, the pride of the Kilvis clan, stirred conflicting emotions within him.

A flicker of pride shone in his eyes at her strength and resilience, holding her ground against such a formidable opponent. Yet beneath that pride was a sliver of worry, for Kaal was no ordinary youth. The battle was not just a contest of skill, but a clash between bloodlines destined to shape the future.

Elder George, arms crossed, gaze narrowed, seeing rival granddaughter matching with top contender for True dragon competitions and comparing to his grandson’s lame performance that he was not able to defeat Horned bear alone.

Adaeze, the Heavenly Dragon, is silently watching and is impressed. ’That Bella’s son is not used to his Axe, but still able to put up a fight with that flame girl. He inherited his mother’s nature, not that F*ucker Charles thought Adaeze was still salty about Charles marrying his crush.

Then, at the Jeral Clan side, a man with a slender build and delicate features, his long, flowing hair cascading like silk. Dressed in pastel robes with floral patterns, he looked more like a scholar from a painting than a battle-hardened cultivator.

But his aura, graceful yet impossible to ignore, commanded the room.

He is Elder Adrian, the most enigmatic of the Jeral Clan.

He tilted his head, eyes fixed on the bloodstained figure of Kaal on the screen.

His soft lips curled into a smile.

"That boy’s body... hmm. Really something," said Elder Adrian in a girly voice.
