Chapter 915: Chapter 911: Warehouse Beast
Upon hearing this news, Tang Ye abruptly ended the call and turned his head to look outside the window. By now, the sounds of gunfire had started to crackle and pop outside, and the Dead Knight Corps that remained in the United District were mounting their zombie creatures, continuously charging towards the battlefield.
More than anything, Tang Ye was surrounded by the roaring of countless zombie creatures.
He shifted his gaze from the window and glanced outside the door, eventually choosing to sit behind the sofa. Then he closed his eyes, appearing to be deep in thought.
In the room where Hatred was located, a soldier opened the door and walked out. Inside the room, Hatred’s eyes watched the raging battle outside, his eyes flickering constantly with a bloodthirsty madness that bordered on psychotic.
"They’ve come, they’ve all come. Since they’re all here, let’s make them all stay."
He gripped a hoop of steel wire in his hand, continually wrapping it around his hand. Soon, his entire arm was enveloped in steel wire, bulging muscles filled with explosive power formed, and then Hatred put on a leather jacket that glinted with a chilling cold light.
At that moment, the phone in his pocket suddenly vibrated. He took out the phone and turned it on, only to see an unknown text message. He opened the message, which read: "If you are reading this message, please dial this number, I’m very eager to know how you feel right now."
With a flash of murderous intent in his eyes, Hatred dialed the number. The phone had just started to ring when it was answered in less than a second.
"Who is this."
"So quick, it seems you haven’t made your move yet." A shrill male voice came from the phone, a voice that was either insanely mad or excessively excited.
Contemplation flashed across Hatred’s eyes, but soon he spoke, "Are you Lu Jiachang?"
The person on the other end of the phone obviously paused, seemingly surprised that Hatred had guessed his identity so quickly. But what did it matter if he had guessed?
For this revenge plan, he had paid an unimaginable price.
"Very clever, but it’s of no use, Hatred. Remember the contents of that note? I told you, if you try to completely exterminate us, I’ll make the Peace Party pay a heavy price. Now that price has come, and my target is you! Whether Li Henian or Tang Fu lives or dies doesn’t matter, but Hatred, I will surely make you die. I am curious to see if your cruelty can evade this time, hahaha, killing you, what an amusement!"
"Is that so? You better pray I don’t find you, otherwise, I will make you watch as zombies nibble your body bit by bit until nothing is left!" Hatred pronounced the most venomous words from his heart, his killing intent surged, and the furniture around him was blown in all directions by the pressure emanating from him, showing how furious he was.
Although his words bordered on a horrific menace, Chen Jiachang wasn’t afraid, for he knew that no matter how wildly Hatred yelled on the phone, no matter how strong his power was, it couldn’t harm him at all.
Then, only a few eerie laughs were heard from Lu Jiachang on the phone before he hung up.
Followed by the "beep beep" sound, with a "smack," the phone was savagely smashed onto the ground, the force crushing the inner components of the device. The moment it made contact with the floor, it shattered into pieces.
"Good, I will find you, I definitely will!"
Hatred’s hoarse voice echoed in the empty room, chilling the surrounding air by several degrees.
He raised his hand and placed it on his mask, the thick mask making the air feel oppressive, much like the current sense of Hatred.
He grasped the edge of the mask, exerted his strength, and forcefully tore it, the lower half shredding like paper.
The ruined part of the mask fell to the ground with a slight noise, and what was revealed was Hatred’s exposed mouth, its long, snake-like tongue stretching out, licking around its teeth, tips stained with threads of blood, and a faint scent of blood dispersing into the air.
The rotting mouth resembled a face formed by melting plastic slathered on, appearing as if a frontal image of a crocodile’s head had been compressed into two dimensions.
"Find you, and I’m supposed to die? I’ll make you die first! I must make you die first!"
Various negative emotions filled Hatred’s heart, and as he spoke, his constantly writhing tongue occasionally brushed against his sharp, zombie-like teeth. The surface of his tongue now bore several long, short, shallow, or deep wounds, bleeding and sending pain into his central nervous system, a sensation Hatred relished.
Pain was repulsive to people, but for some, it was a reminder that they were still alive, not yet dead, and they still had things to do in this world!
Only the dead feel no pain.
A puff of white breath came out of Hatred’s mouth, his jaws opening, his neatly aligned teeth parting, at that moment, he seemed like a demon!
His leather coat fluttered with his movements, he carried a ferocious-looking knife, walking toward the outside, his gaze seemingly piercing through the white walls of the corridor, staring directly at those offending enemies outside.
Meanwhile, in an unknown, overgrown, abandoned warehouse in the Central United District, a bloodthirsty zombie opened its blood-red eyes.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
It began to move its stout limbs, each step on the ground making the earth tremble, it thrust its massive body up, the vast warehouse seemingly unable to contain its enormous bulk, and half of it collapsed with a loud crash!
Roar!
What first emerged was its colossal head, its originally furry scalp now barren, with bone spurs as thick as streetlamp poles twisted and entwined around its head, its dark silver iron skin glistening in the sunlight.
This creature, from before the Apocalypse, had evolved to a point where not a trace of its original form could be seen.
The ferocious head lifted high, its gaping maw open, reeking of decay, twisting its gigantic body, forcibly pulling its fat body, seven to eight meters in length, out of the warehouse. The framework of the warehouse, already shaking from its movements, continually had plaster and debris falling off. As its body was completely pulled out, the remaining part of the warehouse also collapsed, filling the air with dust.
Roar!
The deafening roar echoed throughout the Central United District, its bell-like eyes flashing a human-like glint, just as the people here were yet to understand where this roar came from, this beast’s mouth bloomed like a flower, its hideous fangs fierce, rushing forward against the strong wind!
