Tang Ye moved like a shadow, instantly appearing in front of one them. He clamped his hand around the man’s head and lifted him up, venting his hatred by smashing the man’s head into the wall. The man’s head burst open like a watermelon!

Tang Ye looked at his hand, smeared with blood and flesh, and smirked coldly. He then released the horde of zombies from his mental restraint.

Roar Roar!

They swarmed towards the remaining two survivors and the corpse on the ground. Tang Ye then walked towards Ning Yu’er, gently helping her up. Seeing that she wasn’t severely hurt, Tang Ye regained some sanity.

"Help! Yu’er, let us go, we never wanted to hurt you!"

"Yes, spare us... Ahhh! Help!"

Their voices were drowned by the horde. Ning Yu’er glanced at them and then at Tang Ye. She wanted to plead for them, but no words came. Instead, she hugged Tang Ye tightly, burying her head in his chest, refusing to see the fate that befell the two.

Tang Ye patted her back, ushering her into the dormitory. After closing the door, he ordered the zombies to clean up the blood-stains on the floor.

Half an hour later, the floor was spotless. There were no signs of the bloody massacre that had just taken place. Tang Ye nodded, issued instructions for the zombies to depart and shut the door. He then walked into the room where Ning Yu’er was huddled.

"Little Mister...you..."

Ning Yu’er’s face was pale, her voice shaking as she spoke to Tang Ye.

She hadn’t yet recovered from witnessing Tang Ye’s brutality. Tang Ye shook his head and moved past her, sitting on the edge of the bed. His rage had by now, subsided.

"Little Mister, would you like some water? I’ll get you a glass."

Tang Ye shook his head, indicating his desire to be alone. Ning Yu’er sat next to him, her presence a quiet comfort.

Tang Ye looked at his hand still smeared with blood, his mind wandered. Had he really just eaten a human?

He felt as if some kind of restraint had shattered within him. It was the restraint of morality... He stared blankly into the ceiling, contemplating what he’d just done.

"What’s happened to me?"

"Why did I become like this?"

"I just ate a human being. Why? Why?"

Tang Ye shook his head in disorientation, Ning Yu’er looked at him with concern.

"No, no, they were hurting this little girl. I’m not a cannibal, what’s wrong with being a cannibal? I’ve only eaten human scum! They’re not human!
