And Tang Ye was just like this. He had hope. He looked forward to the future. He wanted to survive, to stay until the very end, to fulfill the two-word promise!

Bundles of black energy entered his body and intertwined with the native anti-life matter. They both possessed the same strong assimilation ability. But at this point, the anti-life matter could not assimilate these inexplicable "cells", and these "cells" could not assimilate the anti-life matter!

Tang Ye chuckled ominously, staggered back to his feet, and delivered a punch straight at Changjue!

Changjue’s black misty sword disintegrated upon hitting Tang Ye’s fist!

His face turned pale. The next second, a few of Tang Ye’s tentacles twisted together, forming a fist which swatted him away!

Changjue flew backward and crashed to the ground, causing a large piece of pavement to break!

Black fog emerged from his body, eerily straightened his body and held him suspended in the air. But here again, the tentacles piercing through him exerted force, dragging him close to Tang Ye!

Seizing this opportunity, Changjue flipped his body over and kicked himself off Tang Ye’s shoulder, sending both of them flying backward!

Noticing something was off, Yinxiang, who was trailing behind, hesitated in deciding whether to intervene. Just as Ah Fu, back in its original form, roared and charged at her again. She angrily swatted at him.

"If my strength hadn’t faded, do you think you, a waste, could have hurt me?"

"Really?"
