I am the Zombie King of the Apocalyptic World -
Chapter 323 - 322: What are we going to do? Kill_1
Chapter 323: Chapter 322: What are we going to do? Kill_1
When these people enter, Tang Ye would correct their mindsets as quickly as possible!
If they cooperate, it’s fine. If not, they can’t blame Tang Ye for being ruthless.
Killing in the post-apocalyptic world does not create any sense of sin. It’s a lawless world!
The next day, the internet was cut off. Tang Ye was slightly upset when he saw that the video couldn’t load after a long day. He looked at the router, which was still lit, and realized that there wasn’t a power outage.
Tang Ye was puzzled. He looked around, and it seemed not to be a problem with the router.
"Did the internet get cut off? Do they want me to pay?"
Frustrated, he threw the router on the ground. Tang Ye was very distressed. It seemed that life would be tough from today onwards.
It’s not that Tang Ye particularly enjoyed the various funny skits on the internet. Being online was simply a way to pass the time, and the videos on the internet nowadays were all lacking in substance.
There were no more comedic videos. Most of the videos on today’s dy, ks, or other platforms were simply clips of regional leaders indiscriminately killing people or footage of unique zombies.
The videos were bloody and twisted. There was no such thing as internet policing in the post-apocalyptic era, and there was no regulation on what could be posted online. Tang Ye even saw videos of people intentionally releasing zombie hordes into a warehouse, killing everyone inside, of course, the people who filmed also didn’t survive.
As for how the videos were uploaded, Tang Ye guessed that someone must have picked up the phone of the person who filmed the scene.
The world was already rotten, so it was only natural that the second world – the internet – would become just as twisted. Acts that were once unimaginable are now brutally displayed on the internet in this post-apocalyptic era.
Tang Ye wasn’t sure what he thought of it. Perhaps he had seen so much that he had become accustomed to it and felt indifferent. He initially felt a surge of violence every time he watched these videos, but the feeling would dissipate after a while.
After all, it wasn’t any better for Tang Ye himself, such as right now.
In the huge pit where zombies were kept, several strong men were leading some survivors into it. Without saying a word, they simply pushed these people in. These were people who were dissatisfied with the management system. But where were human rights in a post-apocalyptic world?
If you’re disobedient, if you want to slack off, if you want to slowly wait for death, then you can go to die. It’s just a bit earlier. Ruan Chao’en and Huang Quanjiu, who were in charge of this area, were not polite at all. They had learnt 70-80% of Tang Ye’s style and would not give a single opportunity to those who showed even a slight resistance!
After several survivors were pushed into the pit of zombies, they heard the excited roars of the zombies and quickly left. On the square, apart from the old man and two other Level 1 New Humans, the others were working hard. They were moving solar panels to the square with Zhou Ranjun leading the way, teaching many newcomers how to connect circuits.
Originally, many people were unwilling to go out and look for supplies in cooperation with the original residents. However, under the pressure of Huang Quanjiu and Ruan Chao’en, they had no choice but to go.
The surrounding walls were being gradually knocked down by a group of people to expand the station’s occupied area.
Bai Huipeng was arranging manpower with Wu Zhanping. He had become a New Human yesterday, and this was mainly because of Tang Ye.
Tang Ye had given him an Evolution Crystal Core. However, he hadn’t just given it to Wu Zhanping, but also to five other people. But only two of them survived. The rest died with water blisters covering their body and with skin rotting!
After Wu Zhanping’s successful evolution into a New Human, he joyfully helped Bai Huipeng with the work, full of vitality. The other successful New Human was Dai Changhao, a young man who had been identified by Xu Haishui one day.
He was still asleep at this moment and had not woken up as early as Wu Pingzhan.
Initially, Xu Changchi and Bai Huipeng were responsible for the job together. However, Xu Changchi began running a fever last night, apparently about to evolve into a Level 2 New Human, and was currently sleeping. Thus, Bai Huipeng had to take on the responsibility alone.
Soon, two to three hundred people had gathered on the field, all well-equipped and with excitement in their eyes.
No one can understand their feelings when they were given these weapons yesterday. Even till now, they were still talking about going to Qu Kai and killing all those damned survivors!
People were touching the hand grenades at their waists, then touching the daggers on their legs, and the shiny guns. They smelt the constant aroma of gun oil, and everyone was pumped. Even in this season just before winter, they did not mind the ammunition filling their bodies.
These weapons were a full arsenal!
"What are we going to do this time?" Bai Huipeng stood at the front, shouting loudly at the crowd!
"Kill!"
"Why kill?"
"Revenge!"
"Revenge for whom?"
"Revenge for our seventeen fallen brothers!"
"Kill!"
"Kill! Kill! Kill!"
In just a few sentences, Bai Huipeng incited hatred against Qu Kai’s forces. Everyone wished they could go out right away and kill everyone there.
However, these thoughts were just an idea. Tang Ye’s command to them was only to kill the leader there. As for the others, they would wait and see. If anyone tried to resist, they were to be killed too!
After sorting this out, Bai Huipeng ordered the crowd to line up and then turned around to find Xu Haishui in the zombie shed.
"Brother Shui, we’re ready."
Xu Haishui took out an Evolution Crystal from a zombie’s head, nodded faintly. Tang Ye had told him before that Bai Huipeng would come to find him, and then he would withdraw the evolved zombies surrounding Qu Kai. He didn’t find it strange.
"How long will it take for you to get there?" Xu Haishui asked.
Bai Huipeng was slightly stunned when he heard the question. He didn’t know why Xu Haishui would ask this, but since Tang Ye had given the instruction, he could only reply: "We plan to drive there. We’ll take two tanks. Considering the distance, it should take about ten minutes or so."
Xu Haishui nodded, put the Evolution Crystal in his hand into a box, and pushed down the zombie body on the table.
"Go ahead, I understand now."
Bai Huipeng was even more confused. Was the reason Tang Ye wanted him to find Xu Haishui just to ask how long it would take to get there?
However, he didn’t say anything. He nodded at Xu Haishui and then turned around to leave.
After Bai Huipeng left, Xu Haishui pulled up an evolved zombie, pressing it on the table, he murmured, "Ten minutes, huh..."
Plop!
The surgical knife pierced into the zombie’s brain, creating a hole. Xu Haishui expertly extracted an Evolution Crystal. He repeated this process over and over again. Before long, a small mountain of corpses had accumulated on the floor.
The air was thick with a nauseating smell of corpses. It seemed to be just about right, Xu Haishui then hoisted each corpse onto a nearby cart one by one. Once the cart was full, he pushed it out of the big shed.
The people outside weren’t surprised when they saw him. This had been the nth time, and they were used to Xu Haishui periodically dumping a cartload of corpses into the bonfire that they had set up.
