Tang Ye turned to look, upon seeing the new patient, he frowned. He knew this man, named Liu Shanyong, who was among the new humans brought by Bai Huipeng.

He was now convulsing all over and looked extremely painful.

"Strip off his clothes and find the blister!"

The two men froze, then grabbed Liu Shanyong and started to undress him. Before they had fully stripped him, Tang Ye’s gaze was drawn to the back of Liu Shanyong’s head.

"Stop!" Tang Ye shouted, the two men immediately halted and stared at Tang Ye, bewildered.

"Let him go." Tang Ye said indifferently.

They were taken aback, loosened their grip, and Liu Shanyong collapsed straight to the ground, convulsing violently.

Tang Ye stepped forward to examine the swollen area at the back of Liu Shanyong’s head and quietly uttered, "Too late."

Before anyone could react to his words, Liu Shanyong stopped convulsing.

As he saw this, Tang Ye’s eyes grew colder. Beneath the mask, his face was terrifyingly frigid, affecting the very air around them, causing several people to shiver.

"Kill them all!"

"Yes!" Bai Huipeng replied.

He gave a look to the two men behind him and walked towards the patients with his weapon.

Then the sound of gunfire continued, and all the patients were killed.

Only Liu Shanyong remained. Tang Ye had been watching him all along. He didn’t know if the man could be saved, but he didn’t feel like saving him, preferring instead to watch his response.

About half a minute later, Liu Shanyong staggered to his feet, his white pupils staring at the few people behind Tang Ye.

Seeing him turn into a zombie, Tang Ye understood. He didn’t wait any longer and stretched out a hand, gripped Liu Shanyong’s neck, and hurled him aside. The man’s head smashed into a metal plate and blood splattered instantly, dying on the spot.

Having dealt with the zombie, Tang Ye turned around and said to Bai Huipeng’s group, "Clean up here, then issue a notice not to go out for the next few days, wait until I’ve got this whole thing figured out."

Bai Huipeng nodded, then looked at Tang Ye and said, "Brother Nian, how are you going to investigate, you won’t..."
