Chapter 1394: Chapter 1389: Only with Swords and Sabers
On the third floor below, several heads appeared, looking at Bai Huipeng with confusion.
"Some of the clones have turned into zombies!" Bai Huipeng didn’t have time to explain the details, he simply blurted out what had happened above.
But just as he had uttered these words, a zombified body not far away, completely twisted like a pretzel, suddenly opened its mouth, and a thick tentacle stretched out, directly wrapping around Bai Huipeng’s waist.
Before he could react, he was dragged backward in flight.
"F*ck, we left early, hurry up and get upstairs!"
Chu Zha was stunned, he quickly called out to the people who had already reached the second floor and walked back with Yan Xing and others beside him.
Meanwhile, Su Sigui, she was being pushed by this zombified Zombie Order Guard and slammed hard into a large machine, the immense impact instantly shattered the machine, its liquid content splashing everywhere.
She didn’t even have time to draw her knife when she was lifted again and smashed heavily onto the floor.
"Damn it!"
Cursing under her breath, she managed to raise her long sword in the nick of time to block a lethal strike from the zombified Zombie Order Guard, but the next second, she felt a tremendous force pressing down on her, engulfing her into the ground.
Roar!
The zombified Zombie Order Guard roared to the sky, the wildly proliferating flesh on its body burst through its clothes and skin, spraying blood everywhere!
Its powerful zombie self-healing abilities began to manifest, at the stump of its severed arm, flesh wriggled violently outward, transforming into a huge tentacle, and at the tip grew a massive "weight."
It swung its "new" weapon, dramatically smashing the "weight" towards Su Sigui!
The ground caved again, creating a deep depression of several meters where Su Sigui was located.
Cough, cough~
She spat out a mouthful of blood, raised the sword in her hand, and once again blocked an attack from the Zombie Order Guard!
Boom!
The ground sank once more, and Su Sigui didn’t even have a chance to catch her breath, as the attacks from the Zombie Order Guard came like a violent storm, causing the ground to sink repeatedly.
Finally, as the Zombie Order Guard swung its newly grown "weight" once again, Su Sigui leaped up, her figure casting multiple shadows in mid-air, and the next second, she landed on the giant protruding back of the Zombie Order Guard!
Holding the sword reversed in her hand, the blade let out an excited screech.
In that moment, Su Sigui’s aura suddenly changed, slightly squeezing the air to whip up a storm, the sword drew a beautifully inclined line in the air.
The blade frictioned fiercely against the air, turning the entire purple sword into a dark red color!
In her eyes, a flicker of subtle yet brilliant amber light passed!
Roar!
The Zombie Order Guard reacted, trying to strike back, but a fierce gust hit, and its intended movement only got halfway when a huge "weight" swung past its neck. Su Sigui’s longsword had already sliced through its neck, cutting off the entire head along with part of the spine.
The "weight" hurtled towards Su Sigui, who leapt into the air, the "weight" grazing the soles of her shoes. Then, Su Sigui landed heavily, crashing onto the now motionless corpse of the Zombie Order Guard, the tremendous force smashing it onto the ground!
Boom!
With that strike, the ground could no longer hold, and that smash became the last straw that crushed the camel, breaking through the thick ground. The large head of the Zombie Order Guard, along with Su Sigui, fell into the second floor.
...Cough cough~
She wiped the blood spilling from the corner of her mouth, her complexion pale. The consecutive attacks from that zombie had inflicted serious wounds on her. Had the floor not been there, her fortune might have been dire.
However, at this moment, she was surrounded by soldiers, who encircled her, aiming their laser weapons directly at her, the atmosphere fraught with tension.
The moment the sergeant saw Su Sigui turn to look at them, he waved his hand and ordered: "Fire!"
Upon receiving the command, the soldiers clenched their teeth and launched their attack, a dense barrage of lasers rushing towards Su Sigui like rain!
Boom boom!
Crack~
Boom~
Thick smoke arose from the assault of countless laser weapons, the ground quickly heated and melted. Before the soldiers could check the aftermath, a sharp, agonizing scream came from behind, followed by blood splattering and staining many of the soldiers’ uniforms.
"Not good!"
Someone internalized a sudden dread, panicking like headless flies. But Su Sigui’s massacre had already started; her blade and sword swinging, creating dazzling and chaotic arcs, obliterating the soldiers they touched!
Some, confident in their own strength, attempted to resist, but they stood no chance against Su Sigui. Before they could get close, they were sliced into several pieces; the stench of blood instantly pervaded the scene.
Before long, all the soldiers at the scene were dead, the ground littered with their dismembered corpses and shattered laser weapons.
"Uh, cough cough~"
The fight over, Su Sigui couldn’t help but spit out another mouthful of blood, but she didn’t choose to rest. She sensed more new-age soldiers approaching.
Her eyes, shimmering with the limitless cold of starry skies, strode forward toward a passage shrouded in darkness, her steps firm. Soon, the only screams of soldiers facing death echoed from within.
Where she passed, no one survived. Under her blade and sword, more souls were reaped, filling the area with her murderous intent.
As she delved deeper, those blocking her way were no longer soldiers equipped with exoskeletal suits and laser weapons, but staff members who recklessly strapped massive liquid bombs to themselves, seeking a desperate mutual destruction. But there was only one outcome; those charging staff members never got close, as her decisive movements swept them away, setting off brilliant flames and wind which tousled her dust-streaked hair.
"Japanese people, huh?"
They were just as she perceived - an unscrupulous race that stops at nothing to achieve their goals, despicable yet in another sense, their ruthlessness is somewhat admirable, fearlessly sacrificing themselves as seen now.
She steadily broke through many barriers, her blade and sword now drenched in blood, her clothes stained and speckled with bits of flesh and tissue, until at last, she stopped in a workshop.
