Chapter 1220 - 1215: No Need for You to Die
Chapter 1220: Chapter 1215: No Need for You to Die
Huang Quanjiu was stunned for a moment as the scenes flashed through his mind, from the moment that Level 6 zombie burst through the ceiling to appear before them, to the present. In an instant, Huang Quanjiu felt as if he was being enveloped by a shadowy mass called conspiracy.
"F*ck!"
After a few seconds of thought, Huang Quanjiu realized he didn’t have much time and quickly jumped up to the floor above, following the claw marks left on the ground by the zombie in hot pursuit.
He quickened his pace, pushing his speed to the limit. The traces of the Level 6 zombie crawling on the walls sped past his eyes. Gradually, he caught sight of the zombie’s back, while Ruan Chao’en desperately clutched at the bone whip tangled around his body.
"Hurry up!"
Ruan Chao’en urged. Being carried by this damned zombie made him uneasy, as if reaching the destination would lead to terrible events.
Huang Quanjiu’s speed was fast, at least faster than that of the Level 6 zombie, and the distance between them was quickly closing.
But just as he was chasing the zombie to the perimeter and saw the gate leading outside, he suddenly caught sight of a silhouette!
"Who?"
He asked, slowing down his steps. He felt an intense danger emanating from this figure!
Hehe~
With Ruan Chao’en in its grip, the Level 6 zombie let out a roar. Huang Quanjiu saw that near the gate, the person shifted to the side slightly, yet the zombie, as if unable to see this person, simply whisked past him.
Huang Quanjiu slowly came to a halt, trying to sense the qi and blood from this person in order to gauge their strength. But the next second, his brow furrowed; there was something very odd about this person. It wasn’t that the blood qi was faint – it was entirely absent!
They might have taken a suppressive agent, but such a drug could not completely conceal a person’s blood qi. A suppressive agent only reduces the vitality of some of the flesh and blood molecules, not forcing them all into dormancy. No matter how many suppressants one consumes, as long as one is not an Undead Creature, there will always be some blood qi present. If the flesh and blood molecules lacked vitality, then sorry, that person is dead!
The moment Huang Quanjiu laid eyes on him, the individual also seemed to notice him. He turned his head with a delay, his movements robotic and soullessly stiff.
Then, he began to walk, steadily advancing towards Huang Quanjiu step by step. Swinging his hand, Huang Quanjiu noticed a dagger twirling on the stranger’s right index finger under the dimly lit exterior, casting a cold, eerie gleam.
Huang Quanjiu’s heart pounded fiercely, but he quickly suppressed it.
"Get lost!" he yelled out the command, emanating an astonishing murderous aura, then marched directly towards the mysterious person.
The person was dressed in a black coat with epaulettes, dark jeans below, and his head covered by the coat’s hood. From Huang Quanjiu’s perspective, the stranger resembled a humanoid triangle-shaped black shadow, his features indiscernible. This individual seemed alien to Huang Quanjiu; probably not from the United District.
Huang Quanjiu’s speed increased more and more, his every step pounding the ground into a crater, and in a brief moment, he arrived in front of the mysterious person. Without a word, he lifted his fist and hurled it towards the stranger’s head!
But with a loud "bang," Huang Quanjiu’s expression twisted in agony as his punch was blocked by the stranger’s hand. In that instant, it felt as though he had struck iron, his own force rebounding back, pain indescribable!
"So strong!"
In his agony, Huang Quanjiu could only think of these two words: the opponent’s strength was absolutely above Level 6!
The next second, the hand that had blocked his punch suddenly let go, and instead, a foot kicked heavily into Huang Quanjiu’s abdomen. The explosive force burst forth, and quite unsurprisingly, Huang Quanjiu spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. He had genuinely withstood the strike, but he hadn’t even seen the trace of the opponent’s attack!
Fresh blood sprayed from his mouth like splattered ink onto the ground as Huang Quanjiu, like a kite with its string cut, crashed straight into the Prison Ground’s building amid the powerful gale.
Boom! Boom! Boom boom!
A series of loud noises followed, and the over thirty-meter-tall Prison Administration Building collapsed with a roar, the dust bellowing and obscuring the night.
"Cough cough~"
After several dry coughs, Huang Quanjiu felt a burning sensation in his throat, as if someone had stuffed an extremely spicy chili pepper directly inside.
Blood uncontrollably streamed from his mouth as he struggled to prop himself up, looking towards the mysterious figure.
"You... cough cough... you are at least Level 7. You could have kicked me to death just now, so why... cough cough! Did you hold back?"
"There’s no need for you to die."
Almost the instant Huang Quanjiu’s voice had not yet fallen, the mysterious person replied. There was no emotion in the tone, nor any human sentiment; his words seamlessly connected with Huang Quanjiu’s, as if they were all part of one sentence.
"Who are you... what do you want to do?"
Huang Quanjiu was full of questions in his heart. He wanted to know who this mysterious person really was. When had a powerful Level 6 or above existence entered the United District without him even catching a whisper of it?
However, the other party did not answer his question, only raising a hand towards Huang Quanjiu, who was paralyzed amidst the rubble, and in the next moment, he witnessed a horrifying scene.
The flesh and blood on the mysterious person’s arm separated thread by thread, turning into dense blood threads that moved towards Huang Quanjiu. He tried to dodge, but after that strike from the mysterious person, his severely injured Level 6 New Human body made every movement cause him intense pain, sucking in a breath of cold air.
Finally, the blood threads reached Huang Quanjiu’s front, slowly climbing onto him. It began at his feet, winding its way up bit by bit until it completely enveloped Huang Quanjiu in a cocoon of blood.
The mysterious individual dragged this blood cocoon and started walking off into the distance. The blood cocoon’s movements indicated that Huang Quanjiu inside was struggling frantically. However, his strength was limited, and he could not break the blood threads enveloping him.
This figure, dragging Huang Quanjiu, vanished into the night. Before long, a large group of Peace Party soldiers rushed over, among them were senior members of the Peace Party.
"Marshal, we’ve found the corpses!"
"It seems they were all killed near the Prison."
Soldiers turned over an inconspicuous pile of trash, uncovering neatly arranged corpses.
Tang Ye looked at the bodies of the soldiers dressed in Peace Party uniforms, his eyes narrowed, emitting a dangerous gleam.
