But before long, suddenly, a light appeared in the distance, flashing across the eyes of the Night Watch NCO in the dark night. He turned his head to see a military vehicle on the street far away; the light was emitted from this vehicle.

"Who?"

"Wait for them to come closer." The NCO narrowed his eyes, watched for a while, then ordered the Night Watch soldiers to halt their current actions.

The plainclothes soldiers of the Second Army Corps brightened at the sight of the vehicle, but their expressions quickly returned to normal, revealing a cold smile as they observed the Night Watch NCO.

Soon, the vehicle drove up and stopped in front of the NCO. Upon seeing the person inside, the NCO’s eyes widened in surprise, and he briskly straightened his body, respectfully saluting.

Following the call of the Night Watch NCO, a soldier from the Second Army Corps descended from the vehicle. He walked from one side of the vehicle to the other, pointing at the plainclothes soldiers of the Second Army Corps surrounded by the Night Watch soldiers and shouted, "General, it’s them!
