I am the Zombie King of the Apocalyptic World -
Chapter 1139 - 1135 Malicious Gaze
Chapter 1139: Chapter 1135 Malicious Gaze
Speaking, Xu Haishui’s expression gradually became strange, causing anyone who saw it to feel a shiver down their spine.
Tang Ye’s face also showed a contemplative look, and after just four or five seconds, his eyes quickly lit up.
"An accident, an accident that caused a food shortage at Cloud Gorge Base, there must have been a problem with the supply points, or with the farming lands! Someone must have sabotaged it."
"Right, we don’t need to send people; we have an army at our disposal. So, it means, Cloud Gorge Base also fears..."
"The zombie horde!" Before Xu could finish, Ah Fu shouted and then continued, "I’m familiar with this; let me do it. I’ll draw all the zombies in the city there and ruin all of Cloud Gorge Base’s food supplies. Starve them to death!" Ah Fu’s face revealed a crazed look, his excited eyes making him resemble a demon rather than a human.
"Enough." Quickly, Tang Ye spoke up to stop Ah Fu, "Ah Fu, there’s no need for you to go. There are plenty of people to mobilize the zombies. Besides, there’s someone here who’s even better at it than you."
"Who? Old Xu? Boss, let me tell you, if he goes, you’re going to be very busy!" Ah Fu said anxiously.
Hearing this, Xu Haishui couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his mouth. For some reason, he felt a strong urge to punch Ah Fu, but the guy had thick skin and would probably be fine after being hit hundreds of times by him. However, if Xu took just one punch, he would lose a great deal of energy.
So, no matter what, if Xu fought Ah Fu, he would lose, the only question was how long it would take.
But the words that came out of Ah Fu’s mouth could prevent Tang Ye from sending Xu to Dongsheng Co-management.
"Then you tell me, who is the most suitable?"
Xu Haishui replied irritably, Ah Fu scratched his head, glanced at Tang Ye, and said nothing for a long while. He had someone in mind, but he didn’t think his brains could compare to these guys.
Ah Fu didn’t speak, but Tang Ye thought about it and soon came up with a name. He then said to Xu Haishui, "Song Muyuan, his ability can control a large number of zombies. Unlike us, he has no limit to the number of zombies he can control. As long as they are within his range, no matter how many there are, they can be controlled by him."
"That makes sense. If we’re talking about using a zombie tide to destroy the farmland of Cloud Gorge Base, he’s the most appropriate choice."
"Then it’s decided. Go inform him. Once the Dongsheng Co-management’s people are gone, have him select suitable candidates from the eight legions, no matter how many, to follow Miao Luo to Dongsheng Co-management."
"Yes."
Xu Haishui nodded, and after receiving Tang Ye’s instructions, he left. After his departure, Tang Ye and Ah Fu got out of the car together and looked around. The Peace Party soldiers here had already driven all the residents living nearby away. Now, there were only Tang Ye and Ah Fu, the two zombie creatures.
"Ah Fu, get to work."
Ah Fu nodded, took out a walkie-talkie and spoke a few words into it. Shortly after, a huge transport plane flew in from a distance, then slowly descended towards the ground far from Tang Ye.
Despite the distance and the fact that zombies’ physical sensations were weaker compared to ordinary people, to the point of barely feeling anything, Tang Ye could still feel the heatwave generated from the blue flames of the transport’s pressure turbines as it landed.
"Come down, come down," Ah Fu shouted. He didn’t seem to be affected by the heat, perhaps because his evolution from Level 6 to Level 7 had made him immune to flames, and he even felt a sense of enjoyment in high temperatures.
The thirty-meter-long transport plane slowly landed, its massive body attracting the attention of people in the distance.
"That’s MechCore T033."
"Damn, how badass is that big shot parking this huge thing right here?"
"It doesn’t matter to us anyway."
"Let’s go take a look."
"Look at what, you idiot? All the people there were driven out by soldiers."
"I don’t know, it must be some General level big shot having a military drill there."
"Does any big brother with connections know what’s going on? Share with us."
"Who knows, I just got chased out from there. Those soldiers are the internal hall soldiers of the Peace Party; who would recognize those guys?"
"So what are they doing?"
"Who knows..."
After the transport plane landed, a huge mechanical hatch door made a hissing sound, a large amount of white fog was released from the rear, and with a loud rumble, the mechanical door fully opened.
Originally, MechCore T033 was meant for transporting soldiers and military supplies, but now, with that massive mechanical door open, what was inside wasn’t soldiers or military munitions; it was a vast horde of gigantic zombies, and each one was a terrifying Level 4!
Following the arrival of this MechCore T033 transport, another of the same massive transport plane appeared in the distance, coming toward them with a thunderous wind-breaking sound.
"Quick, quick, quick, speed it up," Ah Fu beckoned, and a large number of soldiers ran out, glancing at the transport plane with shock, but they were soon called forward by their fellow soldiers.
Each of these soldiers held a black rope in their hands. The first one to approach walked into the transport, found the nearest zombie, reached out with the palm of his hand facing down to test, and after confirming that these zombies had been tamed, he looped the rope around the neck of one of the zombies, lifted it gently, and the zombie obediently followed the soldier out of the transport.
One after another, the Level 4 zombies were escorted out by the soldiers. Then, the zombies from the second MechCore T033 were led out one by one, and the first transport plane quietly departed as if nothing had happened. After the fifth transport had unloaded its cargo of Level 4 zombie wolves and zombie birds, Ah Fu and Tang Ye grew somewhat bored and headed outside.
However, just as the two turned a corner on the street and saw the distant crowd, both stopped in unison.
"Boss..." Ah Fu turned to look back at Tang Ye, who also turned to look at him. Their gazes met in silence, without a word, but both understood.
"Someone is watching us."
"Who is it?" Ah Fu yelled, his voice taking on a cold edge. He was about to turn his head to look around when Tang Ye quickly grabbed him and pulled him back.
"Don’t look around wildly, careful not to scare them off. If they’re still looking at us later, they’re as good as dead."
"Alright." Ah Fu restrained the tumult in his heart and tried to appear normal. The glaring hostility in the watchful eyes was too intense for Ah Fu to ignore.
It wasn’t until they entered the crowd that the strange presence still clung tightly to them.
