I am the Zombie King of the Apocalyptic World
Chapter 1127 - 1123: A God-Like Feeling

Chapter 1127: Chapter 1123: A God-Like Feeling

Gong Xiao, though a general, was as indifferent as Tang Ye to some affairs of the Peace Party. Perhaps zombies never grasped the concept of work and would continue to idle if possible.

"What are you guys looking at?"

At that moment, Xu Haishui pushed open the door and casually asked Tang Ye and the others.

"Nothing much, just that a delegation from Dongsheng Co-management is coming tomorrow. We have no idea what they want." As Tang Ye spoke, he shifted his gaze to the bottom right corner of the report, where Xu Haishui’s name was signed as the reporter.

"Oh, that." Xu Haishui walked toward the kitchen, but upon seeing Li Qingtian inside, he paused, decided against entering, and turned to another kitchen instead. He picked up a cup, filled it with coffee from a kettle, and seemed to find something missing. He opened a nearby cupboard, took out a bag of chili powder, scooped two heaping spoonfuls into his cup, stirred, and drank it.

Hu~

Xu Haishui let out a sound of enjoyment.

A short distance away, Tang Ye turned back and glanced at him. This peculiar way of consuming coffee with chili powder was his invention, which was surprisingly delicious to a zombie’s palate!

One cup and you’re invigorated!

"So boss, are you going tomorrow? The delegation from Dongsheng Co-management will include their Head Executor from the Sanctuary Zone."

"They’re really showing respect, sending their own boss." Tang Ye chuckled, then quickly added, "I don’t want to go tomorrow. I need to update my Dead Knight Corps. There are still some whose mounts are only Level 3. Dongsheng Co-management coming here out of the blue is probably nothing important. If there really is something, Old Xu, it’s time you took charge."

Hearing this, Xu Haishui pursed his lips, a feeling that had become all too familiar. He didn’t know when it started, but he had completely turned into Tang Ye’s tool—his first action whenever something arose was to find him.

Fortunately, his mind held many people’s memories, including some with rich experiences, otherwise, he truly wouldn’t be able to cope.

At that moment, Li Qingtian came out holding a mop, looked at the dirty floor stomped by Tang Ye’s group, frowned, and then said, "You guys go sit on the sofa. I just cleaned it up; don’t come stepping on it again."

"Alright." Xu Haishui nodded and settled down on the sofa with Tang Ye.

Gong Xiao eagerly offered, "Sister, let me do it."

As she stepped forward to take the mop, a mischievous smile appeared on her face.

Li Qingtian cunningly pushed the mop forward, saying, "Here, Auntie, take it."

Hearing this, the smile on Gong Xiao’s face vanished as she grudgingly took the mop, exclaiming, "You’re the boss’s sister, so it’s not wrong for me to call you that."

"It’s not certain that I’m older than you," Li Qingtian replied with a smile, then turned and walked into a room, leaving Gong Xiao alone, resignedly mopping up the footprints.

After carelessly mopping the floor to ensure no footprints remained, Gong Xiao put the mop in toilets and quickly ran out to continue flipping through the report scrolls, which covered various events occurring in the United District, managed by the intelligence network of the zone.

For some reason, as Gong Xiao looked through the reports, she felt as if the vast United District was like a small-scale sandbox world in her palms, where every single detail was visible, as if she was a god controlling everything.

It was this strange sensation that made her increasingly addicted to reading the reports.

Suddenly spotting something intriguing, she called out to Tang Ye and Xu Haishui, "Hey, boss, Old Xu, come look. Tomorrow another Conqueror is joining us."

"Conqueror? Where from?"

Tang Ye’s eyes showed interest; in the apocalypse, zombie controllers were a rare species, seldom seen.

"I don’t know, but the report says he entered the United District two days ago, then ordered his Conqueror Zombie to kill an innocent civilian today, and he was caught by our people. They decided to let him join the Peace Party at dawn, so they spared him."

Tang Ye frowned, saying sternly, "Killing someone casually in my territory and someone still let him go? Who did that?"

"It doesn’t say, but the Conqueror Zombie in question is a Level 6."

"A Level 6 zombie?" Tang Ye was slightly taken aback, not immediately grasping that a zombie controller’s minion was a Level 6 zombie, which in the apocalypse would be an invincible fighter due to his previous perceptions of the rarity of Level 6 creatures.

Stunned by the sudden appearance of a Level 6 Conqueror Zombie, he then realized that Level 6 creatures were gradually becoming common, much like the initially rare Level 5 creatures, which were now ubiquitous and not so hard to find.

"I’ll see when he comes in." While surprised by this Level 6 Conqueror Zombie, Tang Ye wasn’t particularly concerned. Being at the level of a Level 8 zombie himself, fighting a Level 6 was as easy as stepping on ants—a mere trifle.

What Tang Ye didn’t see was that in another room, Li Qingtian’s eyes flashed at the mention of the Level 6 minion. He paused, looked at his hands, then walked out.

"Brother, it’s almost dawn. If there’s something to do, better hurry."

"Oh." Tang Ye nodded, then gestured to Xu Haishui. Gong Xiao and Xu Haishui then walked out together.

"Boss, let’s go."

Downstairs, Ah Fu drove up in a towering off-road vehicle, twice as tall as two people combined. He waved at Tang Ye, and as Tang Ye boarded, the massive vehicle drove further away.

Li Qingtian watched from a window on the rooftop as Ah Fu and Tang Ye drove off, his expression thoughtful. The sky gradually brightened in the distance. After a moment of silence, Li Qingtian stepped forward, opened the door, and walked out, quickly descending the stairs before heading in a particular direction.

"Qingtian, what do you need me for?"

"Nothing much. Just need a favor."

"Help me deal with a zombie controller."

"Zombie controller?"

"Don’t tell me you don’t know."

"I know, but isn’t that controller supposed to join the Peace Party today? To kill him?"

"Exactly, kill him." A fierce murderous intent flashed in Li Qingtian’s eyes!
