"Chase after it by air!"

Watching Ah Fu break through the wall to escape, the lead soldier coldly stated from the armed helicopter, he wasn’t about to let those ten plus pounds of grain slip away so easily!

The helicopter flew at a tilt over the residential building, and before long, the building could no longer bear the weight and collapsed with a rumble, taking down the screams of the survivors, buried underground!

In that instant, dust filled the air, Tang Ye looked in horror as the building he had been living in for over half a month had turned into ruins!

Tang Ye growled deeply, at this moment his emotions were beyond description. The look he gave the helicopter was filled with intense loathing!

"Captain, should we open fire?"

The controller on the helicopter looked down at Tang Ye, who was holding Nannan and asked. The distance was a bit too far, he couldn’t tell whether Tang Ye was human or a zombie. However, having seen him holding an infant, he assumed Tang Ye was human!

The captain hesitated for a moment. His main target was Ah Fu, and Tang Ye was not far from Ah Fu. Firing recklessly would risk harming him and the infant girl!

Even though he had no sympathy for survivors, killing them would just be something he could ignore. But, the presence of the infant made the question of killing or not killing a tough one. After all, heinous villains weren’t everywhere.

Just when the captain was hesitating, someone else beside him suddenly shouted, "Captain, that’s not a human, that’s a zombie!"

That person pointed at the imaging screen, where the camera zoomed in on Tang Ye’s face. His demonic face was now exposed to the soldiers.

"Damn it! Burn them alive!"

Seeing that Tang Ye was a zombie, the captain immediately changed his mind and ordered the attack!

The flame ejector under the armed helicopter immediately lit up with a bright red glow. Tang Ye gritted his teeth at the sight!

Tang Ye’s hoarse voice was like that of a devil from hell, each word full of vengeance. Though his words wouldn’t reach the ears of the soldiers in the helicopter.

Tang Ye slowly bent over and laid down on the ground, using his hands and body to shield Nannan in his arms. All he could do now was to hope that Nannan would survive.

Perhaps, he was going to die here today. He wondered if he’d ever see Ning Yu’er again.

"I’m sorry..."

What Tang Ye hadn’t seen was that, in that moment, a streak of white was spreading from the root of his hair. However, right after, it seemed to have hit a snag and retreated quickly!
