Tang Ye tossed aside the red flyer in his hand. It was already the second day, and the cleanup operation announced by Qinshan Base should begin tomorrow. There should still be time.

Tang Ye could not fathom how the cleanup operation by Qinshan Base would commence. By nuclear bombs? What use would it be for the survivors in Lin City to hide at home then? And why did the flyer advise survivors to hide in safe places?

If an army directly came to Lin City for a cleanup, that would be laughable. The horde of zombies could drown them in droves from their spit alone!

Unsure of how Qinshan Base was going to clean up the zombies of Lin City, Tang Ye didn’t bother contemplating it anymore. He felt he had plenty of time now, and mentally summoned Ah Fu, letting it go and find some food for Nannan.

The voice of Nannan sounded from behind him, melting Tang Ye’s heart. Especially hearing her calling him Daddy.

"I’m coming!"

Tang Ye responded and retreated from the balcony, walking into the room. But just at that instant, the hum of helicopter blades started echoing from the sky and Tang Ye’s face changed. The helicopter was like one from a few days ago, and there was more than one!

"More flyers to distribute?"

Hearing the helicopter sound, Tang Ye temporarily ignored Nannan, who was sitting on the chair, and quickly returned to the balcony, looking towards the sky.

"What’s this..."

In the sky, a fleet of military helicopters marked with green war patterns roared over, flying imposingly towards downtown Lin City. These helicopters were completely different from the ones that had distributed flyers before, dramatically larger in size.

Voices and radio chatter rang continuously inside the armoured helicopter. After receiving orders, the soldiers onboard got ready for battle.

Fire!

With a whistling sound, Tang Ye on the balcony instantly broke into laughter. He initially thought those armoured helicopters were going to machine-gun down, but unexpectedly, they were using fire?

Emerging from the black muzzle of the armoured helicopter below was a red light, looking like a stream of lava getting ready to spew, radiating intense heat across Tang Ye’s face!

The muzzle was shooting fire!

The nozzle of the muzzle shot out a flame as red as liquid, which instantly burned the horrid zombies below!

The soldier co-piloting the helicopter replied, and the flame gun abruptly aimed at Ah Fu and began firing.

At this moment, hellish scenes unfolded on every street in Lin City. The ones undergoing punishment in this hell were not humans, but humans beginning to take revenge on the zombies!

Watching this, Tang Ye on the balcony began to laugh heartily, his gaze towards the armoured helicopter filled with murderous intent.

Raging flames like the ferocity of a raging sea swept across Lin City, burning countless zombies into ashes. The streets were filled with their terrified screams and the sound of flesh crackling in the fire!

Seeing the terrifying state of the Zombies below, every soldier’s face lit up with a joyful and frantic smile. And they were all unaware that a harbinger of darkness was descending upon them.

The massive body of Ah Fu was charging down the street, crashing into zombies and sending them flying. It turned and entered a residential area, rushing towards the apartment building where Tang Ye was residing!

Seeing this, Tang Ye breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that once Ah Fu entered the residential building, the armoured helicopter would stop pursuing. But his relief was short-lived as the helicopter surprisingly changed direction and flew directly overhead the residential complex!

Tang Ye’s face fell. What were they planning? Were they not going to give up?

"Could it be they are going to..."

An horrific thought suddenly entered Tang Ye’s mind. After the helicopter entered the airspace above the complex, the fire spewing gun ceased, yet it aimed its wing guns directly at the apartment building where Tang Ye resided.

Apparently, they wouldn’t stop until they killed Ah Fu!
