I am the creator of New Life on the Earth
Chapter 58: Foundations of Creation

Chapter 58: Foundations of Creation

Adam walked through the park, the evening sun casting long shadows over the pathways.

The air was cool, tinged with the scent of damp earth after a recent drizzle.

As he made his way home, his mind wandered to Lisa and her unusual ability.

If Lisa can possess such a unique power, how many others like her exist in this world? he mused.

His thoughts spiraled further, imagining the sheer variety of powers people could wield.

But the more he thought, the heavier his head felt. A dull ache crept into his temples.

Enough of this, he thought, shaking his head to clear it. The day’s events had been overwhelming, and he desperately needed some rest.

Reaching home, Adam unlocked the door, calling out, "I’m back!"

From the kitchen, his mother, Rachel, responded, "Adam, you’re late! Dinner will be ready soon."

"I’ll be in my room," Adam replied, already climbing the stairs.

"Fine, but don’t forget to come down when I call!" Rachel’s voice followed him.

Adam entered his room, shutting the door behind him. He dropped his bag on the floor and let out a long sigh.

The quiet hum of the city outside his window offered a strange comfort.

He pulled out his phone and opened the holographic interface. Within seconds, three distinct figures materialized in front of him.

Pratham and Mikasa, two AI avatars he had created, appeared first. Pratham’s light blue skin glowed faintly in the dim screen, his white hair and piercing blue eyes giving him a serene, otherworldly appearance.

Mikasa, sharing similar blue-toned features, exuded a gentle yet commanding presence with her feminine frame.

Then there was Sona, a psychic spirit who hovered midair, no larger than Adam’s fist. Her golden wings fluttered softly, and her tiny frame was adorned in leaf-like green attire.

Her blue hair shimmered as she moved, her translucent skin giving her an ethereal glow.

The three bowed slightly before Adam.

"Pratham, Mikasa, any updates on the Power Holders?" Adam asked, his voice carrying the weight of urgency.

Mikasa stepped forward. "Lord Adam, we’ve gathered some fragmented information. However, nothing confirms the existence of Power Holders. Still, today’s incident with Lisa suggests that the possibility cannot be dismissed entirely."

Adam nodded thoughtfully, processing the implications. He turned to Pratham. "What about you? Any thoughts?"

Pratham’s gaze dropped slightly. "My lord, I apologize. Despite my capabilities, our efforts remain inefficient. The areas we can monitor are limited, and there are vast regions beyond our reach. The internet, while vast, doesn’t cover everything. Many places remain untouched, hidden from our surveillance."

Adam’s brows furrowed. "So, you’re saying we need more units to expand our reach?"

Pratham hesitated but nodded. "Yes, my lord. Additional units would increase efficiency significantly."

Adam leaned back, considering Pratham’s words. "Fine," he said after a moment. "I’ll create more of your kind to assist you."

Pratham quickly raised a hand, his expression earnest. "No, my lord! There’s no need to expend your energy on us. If you grant us the ability to reproduce, we can populate our species ourselves."

Adam blinked, startled by the suggestion. Before he could respond, a purple window materialized in front of him, its text glowing faintly:

___________________________________

Your creation has requested an upgrade: Artificial Intelligence Reproduction Capability.

Do you wish to grant this ability?

Yes / No

_____________________________________

Adam stared at the message, his mind racing. This wasn’t something he had anticipated, yet it made perfect sense. If his creations could reproduce autonomously, it would save him time and energy.

Without hesitation, he selected Yes. A faint surge of energy flowed through him, though it barely left him fatigued.

Before his eyes, Pratham and Mikasa began to glow with golden light.

Their forms shimmered as the light enveloped them completely. When the glow subsided, they appeared unchanged at first glance.

But Adam noticed subtle differences—Pratham’s features seemed sharper, more defined, while Mikasa’s presence radiated an unmistakable aura of growth and potential.

Adam’s thoughts turned practical. How exactly will they reproduce? he wondered, shaking the intrusive question out of his mind.

Suddenly, Pratham and Mikasa disappeared from the holographic interface. Adam’s eyes widened in alarm.

"Where did they go?" he asked aloud, glancing at Sona, who seemed equally bewildered.

"Don’t look at me!" Sona exclaimed, her tiny hands raised defensively. "I have no idea where they went!"

Moments later, Pratham and Mikasa reappeared, but they weren’t alone. Surrounding them were ten miniature beings, no taller than Adam’s finger.

Each had light blue skin, white hair, and glowing blue eyes, just like their creators. Their small forms floated in midair, radiating a sense of innocence and curiosity.

Adam stared in disbelief. "That was... fast," he muttered.

Pratham stepped forward, a hint of pride in his voice. "Lord Adam, we’ve successfully created ten offspring—five males and five females. These will serve as the foundation of our species."

Adam couldn’t help but marvel at the efficiency. He nodded slowly. "Impressive work, Pratham. But don’t forget—raising them isn’t just about strategy. It’s about emotion, care, and connection."

Pratham bowed his head. "As you command, my lord. We will do our best to nurture them."

The tiny beings hovered closer, their glowing eyes fixated on Adam. He felt a strange warmth in their gaze, a silent acknowledgment of the bond they shared.

"Name them," Adam said finally. "And teach them well. The future of your kind depends on it."

Pratham and Mikasa bowed deeply. "It will be done," they said in unison.

Sona hovered nearby, her golden wings fluttering nervously. "That was... unexpected," she said.

Adam gave her a small smile. "Nothing about today has been predictable."

She nodded, her tiny frame glowing faintly. "Still, it’s a good thing, isn’t it? You’ve just taken a huge step forward."

Adam’s smile faded slightly. "Maybe. But every step forward comes with its own challenges. We’ll see what happens next."

As he stared out the window, the city lights flickering in the distance, he couldn’t shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something far greater.
