Chapter 310: PLEASE SKIP THIS Chapter
_______________________________
Hey everyone,
I have to post this message with a very heavy heart because I’ve made a huge mistake, and I am incredibly sorry for it.
I somehow managed to upload a completely wrong set of Chapters. Everything from Chapter 292 all the way to Chapter 313 is incorrect and has nothing to do with our main storyline. I can only imagine how confusing this must have been for all of you, and I am truly ashamed of this error.
So, this is what I need you all to do:
Please, please SKIP all Chapters from 292 to 313.
The story picks back up correctly at Chapter 314. Please jump straight to Chapter 314.

The street was empty. Buildings on both sides looked old and run-down. The sun was going down, making long shadows.
A young woman walked down the cracked sidewalk. She looked about 22 years old. Her footsteps were the only sound. She didn’t seem to be hurrying or looking at anything special. She just walked, alone.
Suddenly, someone else was there. Faster footsteps crunched on the broken pavement behind her.
A young man came out from a dark alleyway. He looked maybe 19 years old. He was thin and seemed nervous. He quickly stepped right in front of her, stopping her. He stood with his legs apart, trying to look tough.
"Give me all your money," he said. His voice tried to sound mean, but it trembled a little.
The woman stopped walking. She didn’t look surprised or scared. Her eyes had been looking down the street, but now they slowly moved to him. It was strange, though.
She looked through him, not really at him. She didn’t react at all. She just stood there quietly. Her not reacting seemed to bother the young man more than if she had yelled or tried to run. He frowned.
"Didn’t you hear me?" he asked again. His voice got a little louder. He stepped closer to her.
"Give me your money. Now!" He reached into his jacket and pulled out a knife. The blade was shiny and sharp. He held it out, pointing it near her stomach.
Still, the woman did nothing. She didn’t even blink. Her breathing stayed calm. Her eyes didn’t follow the knife. They stayed on his face, empty. It was like she didn’t even notice the knife or the danger.
The young man started to feel angry, but also a little scared. Why wasn’t she reacting? He pushed the knife closer, the sharp tip now just inches from her neck.
"DIDN’T YOU HEAR ME?!" he yelled. The sound echoed on the empty street. He quickly poked the air near her throat with the knife, trying to scare her.
Nothing. Her face showed nothing. He could see the pulse beating softly in her neck, right near the knife point.
That was the only sign she was alive. Her stillness felt like she was making fun of him without saying a word. He lost his temper. Mixed with his anger was a growing fear. He suddenly pushed the knife forward, hard.
Thud. The knife sank into the side of her neck. He felt it go through skin and muscle. Dark red blood immediately soaked her shirt collar and spread fast.
Even getting stabbed didn’t make her react. She didn’t gasp or make a sound of pain. She didn’t flinch. She didn’t even blink. Very slowly, she turned her head to look straight at him.
Her empty eyes met his. He could see the handle of the knife sticking out of her neck. When she spoke, her voice was quiet and steady. There was no pain or fear in it.
"I’ve tried this on myself many times," she said calmly. Her words felt strange and heavy in the air. "Cutting... stabbing... It doesn’t work. Nothing happens to me."
The young man stared. He couldn’t understand what she was saying. He saw the knife in her neck. He saw how calm she was. This wasn’t just a robbery anymore. It was something weird and scary. A cold feeling spread through him. This person... wasn’t normal. Panic started to rise in his chest.
"Die, witch! Just die!" he screamed. His voice cracked. He wasn’t trying to be tough anymore; he was terrified. He grabbed the knife handle again. It was slippery with blood.
Using both shaky hands, he pulled the knife sideways with all his might. There was a horrible ripping sound as the blade cut through everything in her neck – muscles, tubes, everything. It came out the other side in a spray of blood.
He stumbled backward and dropped the bloody knife. It clattered loudly on the ground. He couldn’t look away from her neck. There was a huge, terrible cut from one side to the other.
It looked like her head was barely attached. Blood poured out in pulses, soaking her clothes and making a dark puddle on the street around her feet. He could see the torn edges of things inside the wound.
He expected her to fall down, to die. But she didn’t. She just stood there, straight and tall. The terrible, deadly wound didn’t seem to bother her at all. She didn’t look like she was in pain.
Then, something impossible happened. While the terrified young man watched, frozen, the raw, bleeding edges of the giant cut started to glow with a strange light. Thin lines of flesh seemed to reach across the gap, weaving themselves together super fast.
Muscles visibly reconnected. The torn skin flowed like melted wax, sealing the wound from the inside out. The gushing blood slowed down, became a trickle, and then stopped completely.
In just a few seconds, the huge, horrible cut was gone. Her neck was perfectly smooth again. The only sign anything had happened was all the drying blood covering her skin and clothes.
Seeing this impossible thing broke the young man completely. A scared sob escaped his throat.
His legs felt like jelly, and he fell backward onto the pavement. He pushed himself away with his hands, scrambling backward like a scared crab. His eyes were wide with pure terror, locked on the woman.
A tiny smile appeared on the woman’s lips for just a second. She saw how scared he was. It wasn’t a happy smile, just a tired look, like she’d seen this reaction before. "I expected this," she said quietly. Her soft voice easily reached him over his own panicked breathing.
He looked up at her from the ground. His face was pale, and he was sweating even though it wasn’t hot. "Wha-what... are you?" he stammered, shaking all over. "Stay back! Leave me alone!"
Suddenly, fear gave him a burst of energy. He scrambled to his feet, almost tripping.
Without looking back at the woman, he turned and ran. He ran wildly down the empty street, pumping his arms, his feet pounding the pavement. He didn’t stop, didn’t look back.
He just ran like something terrible was chasing him, until he disappeared into the growing darkness down the road.
The young woman didn’t try to follow him. She stood exactly where she was, a still figure alone in the middle of the street. The sun was almost gone now. The tiny smile was gone too.
Her face just looked incredibly tired, much older than her 22 years. She looked down at the bloodstains on her shirt, then looked up at the darkening sky where the first stars were starting to appear.
"I am tired," she whispered. Her voice was so soft it was almost lost in the quiet air. She was just talking to herself. "I want to die."
She stood there for a long time, not moving, covered in blood, completely alone on the street as night finally arrived.
The scene changed. The dark city street faded away, replaced by a pretty garden. The light here was soft and golden, shining through leaves and flowers. A young boy, about 12 years old, sat on the soft green grass.
He sat with his legs crossed. In front of him on the grass was a bright orange carrot. It was peaceful in the garden. You could hear bees buzzing softly and leaves rustling once in a while.
A small, white rabbit carefully came out from behind a rose bush. Its pink nose twitched, smelling the air. Its long ears moved around, listening. It looked around the garden, then saw the carrot.
After a moment, it started hopping towards the carrot, slowly and carefully. It reached the carrot, sniffed it, then sat down and started nibbling on the green leaves on top. Then it started eating the orange part.
The boy watched the rabbit quietly. His face was calm, but his eyes were focused on the rabbit. As the rabbit ate the carrot, the boy slowly lifted his right hand and held it out, palm facing the rabbit.
A soft red light started glowing in his hand. It started small, then got brighter and spread out. The red light flowed over the grass and formed a glowing red bubble all around the rabbit. The rabbit stopped chewing for a second, maybe sensing the light, but it didn’t seem scared. It went back to eating the carrot.
A small smile appeared on the boy’s face. He watched the rabbit inside the red light. His eyes looked interested. Then, he said one word quietly into the garden’s silence.
"Begin."
As soon as he said the word, the rabbit started to change. The red light glowed brighter around it. The rabbit froze. Its white fur stood straight up. On its forehead, between its ears, a bump appeared under the fur. The bump grew bigger very fast, stretching the skin.
Then, a sharp, black horn pushed out. It was twisted slightly and grew several inches long in just a few seconds.
At the same time, the rabbit’s big dark eyes changed. They got wider, and the black centers grew until the whole eye was shiny black. The red light reflected in them. The rabbit’s small body seemed to shiver as muscles moved under its fur, changing its shape.
Then, sharp points suddenly poked out through the fur all along its back. Rows of short, pointy spikes, the color of old bone, popped out, making its back look dangerous. Even its paws looked different, the claws growing longer, darker, and curved.
The change happened very fast, smoothly, and strangely. It only took a few seconds.
The normal, fluffy rabbit was gone. In its place, still glowing faintly from the red light, was a different creature. It still looked mostly like a rabbit, but now it had a horn, black eyes, and spikes on its back. It looked wrong, like a demon rabbit.
The boy watched the whole thing happen. His small smile stayed on his face. He looked very interested, like he was watching an experiment. He didn’t look mean, just curious.
The new demon rabbit twitched its black horn. Its black eyes blinked. Then, it didn’t seem bothered by its new horn and spikes. It lowered its head and took another bite of the carrot.
