Hey everyone,
I have to post this message with a very heavy heart because I’ve made a huge mistake, and I am incredibly sorry for it.
I somehow managed to upload a completely wrong set of Chapters. Everything from Chapter 292 all the way to Chapter 313 is incorrect and has nothing to do with our main storyline. I can only imagine how confusing this must have been for all of you, and I am truly ashamed of this error.
So, this is what I need you all to do:
Please, please SKIP all Chapters from 292 to 313.
The story picks back up correctly at Chapter 314. Please jump straight to Chapter 314.

The atmosphere inside the Union Base was tense. The recent battle had shaken everyone. The echoes of the fight still lingered in the damaged hallways, and the faint hum of security drones scanning for intruders filled the air.
Adam sat in the command center, his body still aching from the encounter with the mysterious enemy. Across from him, Zero was typing rapidly on his holographic console, scanning through energy readings.
Phantom stood near the entrance, arms crossed, her gaze locked onto the holo-screen. Sona and Tayo, now fully recovered, hovered nearby, whispering to each other about the strange clones they had encountered.
Adam clenched his fist, his mind replaying the battle. The armored figure had been faster, stronger, and disturbingly familiar with their tactics. Who was he?
His thoughts were interrupted when Zero’s screen beeped.
"Lord Adam," Zero said, his voice calm but firm. "We’ve traced their teleportation signal."
Adam sat up. "Where did they go?"
Zero tapped the display, and a map appeared, showing a remote facility outside the city. A red dot pulsed on the screen.
"They’re here," Zero confirmed.
Adam studied the location. The facility wasn’t on any government records, meaning it had to be privately owned.
"We need more intel," Adam muttered. "I won’t walk into another fight unprepared."
Phantom stepped forward. "Should I go and scout the area?"
Adam considered it but shook his head. "No. We’re dealing with someone who already knows our movements. I need to handle this personally."
Sona’s wings fluttered. "Then we’re going with you."
Adam smirked. "I wouldn’t have it any other way."
With that, he stood up, his determination unwavering. Whatever lay ahead, he was ready to face it.
Adam stood in front of the Union’s armory, mentally preparing for what lay ahead. The base was unusually quiet, with only the low hum of security drones patrolling the corridors. Despite their recent victory, a new threat had emerged, one they knew nothing about.
"Zero," Adam called.
Zero, still at his console, responded immediately. "Yes, Lord Adam?"
"Any further intel on the facility?" Adam asked, fastening his combat gloves.
Zero flicked his fingers across the holographic display. "From the satellite scans, the facility appears abandoned. No signs of recent movement—until today. Our sensors picked up an energy spike an hour ago, matching the power signature of the clones we encountered."
Adam’s eyes narrowed. So they were here.
"Could it be a trap?" Phantom asked from the doorway.
"Most likely," Adam admitted. "But we don’t have a choice. If they’re hiding something, we need to find out what."
Sona and Tayo hovered into the room, their wings giving off a faint shimmer. "We’re ready," Sona said.
Adam turned to the group. "We’ll move in two teams. Phantom and I will take the front entrance. Sona and Tayo, you cover the back. Zero, you’ll stay in communication and be our eyes from here."
Zero nodded. "Understood."
Before they left, Emily stepped forward, concern written across her face. "Be careful, Adam."
Adam gave her a reassuring nod before pressing the stealth mode on his wristband. His body shimmered for a moment before blending into the shadows.
It was time to move.
The abandoned facility stood deep within the forest, hidden beneath thick layers of mist. The building itself was massive—a metallic structure covered in rust and overgrown vines, as if it had been forgotten by time.
But Adam knew better.
As they approached, Phantom’s voice echoed through his earpiece. "I don’t like this. It’s too quiet."
Adam scanned the surroundings. There were no guards, no security cameras, and no signs of movement.
"Stay alert," Adam warned. "This place might be dead, but something is definitely watching us."
Just as he said that, a low mechanical hum vibrated through the air.
Tayo tensed. "Did you hear that?"
Then, suddenly—
The ground beneath them trembled.
A massive energy surge erupted from the facility’s entrance, followed by a blinding light. Adam barely had time to react before a dozen mechanical figures emerged from the shadows, their eyes glowing with an eerie red light.
"They were expecting us," Phantom muttered.
Adam gritted his teeth, activating his combat mode. "Then let’s not disappoint them."
The air crackled with energy as the mechanical figures lunged forward, their glowing red eyes locked onto Adam’s team. Each machine stood nearly seven feet tall, their humanoid forms reinforced with sleek black armor and glowing circuits running across their bodies.
"Combat drones," Phantom muttered, gripping her blade. "But these are more advanced than anything we’ve seen before."
Adam narrowed his eyes. He could sense the unnatural energy radiating from them—something different from regular machines. These weren’t just programmed weapons; they had something more inside them.
Something alive.
Before Adam could analyze further, the drones attacked.
The first drone lunged at Adam.
It moved at a terrifying speed, its arm transforming into a sharp plasma blade aimed straight for his chest. Adam dodged at the last second, feeling the heat of the energy blade slice past him.
He retaliated immediately—his hand crackled with blue energy as he struck the drone’s core, sending a pulse of raw force through its body. The machine jerked violently, sparks flying from its joints, but it didn’t fall.
It regenerated.
Adam’s eyes widened as the damaged plating reassembled itself almost instantly.
"Self-repairing?" Tayo shouted, launching a burst of wind energy at another drone. "That’s not normal tech!"
Sona took to the air, her golden aura illuminating the battlefield. "Then we hit them faster than they can heal!" She flapped her wings, releasing a massive golden shockwave that knocked three drones off their feet.
But before she could celebrate—
A red force field flickered to life around them, dampening the impact.
"Adaptive shielding," Phantom realized. "They’re learning from our attacks!"
Adam clenched his fists. "Fine. Let’s see if they can adapt to this."
He activated The Divine Hand, his palm glowing with a shimmering, otherworldly energy. The moment the next drone charged, Adam caught its blade with his bare hand—and within seconds, the energy field around it flickered uncontrollably.
The drone convulsed as its systems overloaded, its core short-circuiting before it collapsed.
It couldn’t repair itself.
Adam smirked. "Looks like their regeneration has limits."
Just as the team started gaining the upper hand, a deep, metallic voice echoed from the facility entrance.
"You’re more capable than I expected, Adam."
Everyone froze.
From the shadows, a tall figure emerged, draped in a high-tech combat suit. His helmet gleamed under the facility’s eerie lights, but his piercing golden eyes burned through the visor.
Adam’s chest tightened.
This wasn’t just another soldier.
This was their real enemy.
A tense silence fell over the battlefield as the mysterious figure stepped forward, his combat suit humming with energy. His presence alone sent a ripple of unease through the air.
Adam’s eyes narrowed. He had fought many enemies before, but this one felt different.
More dangerous.
The man’s golden eyes glowed behind his visor, scanning Adam and his team with a calculating gaze. Then, he spoke, his voice carrying a mix of amusement and authority.
"Impressive. You dismantled my drones faster than anticipated."
He tilted his head slightly. "Perhaps you’re more than just a nuisance after all."
Tayo stepped forward, gripping his fists. "Who the hell are you?"
The man chuckled. "Ah. Where are my manners?" He slowly lifted a hand, and the very air around him shifted, as if bending to his presence.
"You may call me Cain."
At the sound of his name, Phantom stiffened, her usually composed demeanor faltering for the first time.
Adam caught the change in her expression immediately.
"You know him?" he asked through their telepathic link.
Phantom hesitated before responding.
"Cain... is one of the original war generals of the Fallen Union."
Adam’s pulse quickened. The Fallen Union—an underground force that rivaled even the strongest global factions. If Cain was truly one of their generals, then this mission had just escalated into something far more dangerous.
Cain smirked. "Since you’ve entertained me this much, allow me to return the favor."
Without warning, he raised his arm—and the air crackled with intense gravitational force.
A massive shockwave erupted, sending Adam and his team flying backward. Even Phantom, who could phase through physical attacks, felt the pressure pinning her down.
Adam barely managed to stabilize himself, digging his fingers into the ground to halt his momentum. His teammates struggled to do the same.
Cain walked forward effortlessly, untouched by the chaos he had created. "You think you’re ready to challenge me?" he asked, amusement in his tone. "Then prove it."
Adam clenched his fists, his Divine Hand energy flaring as he locked eyes with Cain.
The battlefield trembled under the overwhelming force of Cain’s gravitational shockwave. Adam’s muscles tensed as he steadied himself, his Divine Hand energy surging to counteract the crushing pressure around him.
Across the field, Phantom phased through the dense energy currents, barely managing to keep herself stable. Tayo and Sona struggled but held their ground, their auras flaring to resist the invisible force pressing down on them.
Cain, however, stood unmoved—his golden eyes gleaming with amusement.
"Not bad," he remarked, his voice calm despite the chaos. "You survived the first strike. Let’s see how long you last."
Without warning, Cain vanished—his speed defying the laws of physics.
Adam’s eyes widened. "He’s fast—!"
A split second later, a devastating impact sent him hurtling backward, crashing through multiple steel pillars before finally skidding to a stop.
Pain exploded through his body.
Cain reappeared where Adam had stood moments ago, his fist still extended. The sheer force of his strike had warped the air itself.
Tayo roared, launching forward with a blazing energy punch, but Cain effortlessly sidestepped it. He grabbed Tayo by the wrist, twisted it, and slammed him into the ground with bone-crushing force.
Sona attempted to retaliate, unleashing a wave of telekinetic energy, but Cain simply raised a hand, dispersing the attack as if it were nothing.
"Predictable," Cain mused.
Coughing, Adam pushed himself up from the wreckage. His vision blurred for a moment before he forced himself to focus. Cain wasn’t just strong—he was an entirely different level of combatant.
But Adam wasn’t done yet.
He clenched his fists, activating his Divine Hand ability once more. The air around him distorted, rippling with raw power.
Cain turned his head slightly, intrigued. "Oh? You still have fight left in you?"
Adam didn’t respond. Instead, he vanished, moving with speed that nearly matched Cain’s.
Cain barely had time to react before Adam’s fist collided with his chest.
A massive shockwave erupted, shattering the ground beneath them.
For the first time, Cain staggered. His boots skidded across the battlefield, his golden eyes narrowing in surprise.
Adam pressed the attack.
He twisted mid-air, delivering a follow-up kick to Cain’s head, but the general managed to block it at the last second, countering with a gravitational pulse that sent Adam skidding back.
Both warriors paused, locking eyes.
Cain slowly exhaled, rolling his shoulders. "I take it back," he said. "This might actually be fun."
Adam smirked, wiping blood from his lip. "Glad you think so. Because I’m not done yet."
