Chapter 211: Into the Master Region

Chapter: Into the Master Region

Pratham floated in the vast, endless streams of the internet’s dimension, a glowing figure moving through cascading waves of light and data.

His translucent form shimmered faintly as he completed his hack, accessing the assistant’s smartphone and smartwatch.

Once inside, his glowing hands flicked through lines of code, extracting data from the devices.

Though much of what he found seemed irrelevant—contacts, personal photos, random notes—Pratham meticulously stored everything in a secure data vault. "You never know what might come in handy," he murmured to himself.

Satisfied with his progress, Pratham activated the microphones on both devices. He avoided switching on the cameras to conserve battery and to prevent alerting the assistant.

Every word spoken near the devices would now be captured and transmitted directly to Adam.

With his task complete, Pratham left the internet’s dimension and reappeared on Adam’s monitor. His avatar materialized slowly, the faint hum of his virtual presence filling the room.

Adam, who had been leaning back in his chair, straightened immediately. "Pratham, what’s the update?"

"I’ve hacked the assistant’s phone and smartwatch, Lord Adam," Pratham replied, his voice calm yet firm. "He’s currently heading toward City Bolune."

As he spoke, a map appeared on Adam’s monitor, displaying the assistant’s live location. A small animation highlighted the route the car was taking.

Adam studied the map intently. "Bolune..." he murmured. The name sparked a flicker of memory. His mind wandered briefly to Eric, an old friend from school who lived in Bolune.

Adam hadn’t spoken to him in years, and the thought of their time together brought a faint smile to his lips. But the memory was fleeting, quickly replaced by the gravity of the current situation.

The map indicated the assistant’s car had stopped. Pratham expanded the satellite feed, revealing the vehicle parked in front of an imposing building. Its sleek, modern design stood out against the dimly lit streets.

"What’s this place?" Adam asked, leaning closer to the screen.

Pratham nodded, already understanding Adam’s unspoken command. "Give me a moment, Lord Adam." He turned back to the digital realm, diving into databases and public records. Within seconds, he returned, his avatar’s glowing eyes meeting Adam’s gaze.

"This is the Silver Moon Five-Star Hotel," Pratham reported. "A high-end establishment known for hosting VIPs and clandestine meetings alike."

Adam raised an eyebrow. "Interesting choice for someone trying to stay under the radar."

The satellite feed showed the assistant exiting his car and entering the hotel.

As Adam watched, another window opened on his monitor. This one played an audio feed—faint sounds of footsteps and muffled conversations.

"That’s the microphone feed from his phone," Pratham explained.

Adam adjusted his headset, focusing on the soft noises coming through. The assistant’s steady footsteps echoed as he walked through the hotel’s luxurious corridors.

The faint click of his shoes on polished marble floors added a layer of tension to the atmosphere.

The satellite feed transitioned to footage captured from nearby security cameras. The assistant walked purposefully, his destination clear.

The corridor he entered was lined with ornate doors, each leading to a suite that exuded opulence.

Then Pratham hacks the camera of the smart watch that was in his hand and gets the live feed from it.

Pratham’s voice broke the silence. "Room 302," he said. "That’s where he’s headed."

The assistant stopped outside the designated room, raising his hand to knock. The sound of his knuckles rapping against the door carried faintly through the audio feed. Three deliberate knocks.

The door opened slowly, revealing a young woman. She was striking, with sharp features and an air of defiance in her posture.

The assistant didn’t hesitate; he brushed past her without so much as a glance, stepping into the suite’s lavish interior.

The assistant moved through the living room, where a plush sofa dominated the space. On the sofa sat a fat man in his mid-forties, exuding an aura of quiet authority.

His posture was relaxed, but there was a sharpness in his eyes that hinted at a deeper power.

Pratham immediately alerted Adam. "Lord Adam, that man... he’s a power holder."

Adam’s eyes narrowed. "Who is he?"

Pratham shook his head. "Unknown. His identity and abilities remain a mystery."

The man on the sofa—Krish—smirked as he saw the assistant approach. "Ah, this time they sent you," he said, his voice dripping with mockery. "No President or Prime Minister to grovel before me?"

The assistant knelt before Krish, lowering himself into a formal Japanese-style sitting position. His voice was steady but laced with urgency.

"Master, their movements are being closely monitored. They’ve sent me to deliver their message. They won’t be able to meet with you for now, but as soon as an opportunity arises, they’ll come."

Krish rolled his eyes dramatically, the smirk never leaving his face. "How inconvenient," he said with exaggerated disappointment. His tone was playful, but his expression hinted at irritation.

The assistant reached for the black file he had carried with him, placing it carefully on the glass table in front of Krish. "This is the detailed plan President jeo asked me to deliver to you, Master."

Krish glanced at the file, then leaned back with a theatrical sigh. "I’ve told them a thousand times—I don’t care for their plans. Why do they keep sending me this nonsense?"

Before the assistant could respond, the sound of a door opening drew their attention.

From an adjacent room, a young woman emerged. Her disheveled appearance and flushed face suggested she had just been in an intimate encounter.

She moved toward Krish, sitting beside him on the sofa with an air of familiarity.

The woman glanced at the file and smiled coyly. "Master, let me handle this. I’ll read it for you."

Krish placed a hand on her shoulder, his smirk softening into a grin. "Ah, of course. You’re my smartest servant, after all. Go ahead."

She opened the file, her eyes scanning the pages with practiced efficiency. Meanwhile, Krish leaned back, looking entirely unconcerned about the gravity of the situation.

Back in his room, Adam watched the scene unfold, his mind racing with questions. "So, this is their Master," he muttered. "And that woman... she seems important to him."

Pratham’s voice cut through his thoughts. "Lord Adam, this is highly suspicious. We now have visual and audio confirmation of unknown master, his connections to the President and Prime Minister, and his operations in the shadows."

Adam nodded. "Good work, Pratham. Continue monitoring them closely. I want every detail of this meeting."

As the audio/video feed continued, the faint rustle of papers and murmured words filled the room. Adam leaned forward, preparing himself for whatever revelations would come next.

The Chapter ended with a growing sense of unease, the pieces of the puzzle falling into place but the picture still far from clear.
