Wei Tianyang finished the "interview," and Cha Na returned to his room as well.

Around 6 PM, his cellphone vibrated in his jacket pocket. He walked to the coat rack and took out his phone to check.

It was a call from Quigui Ge.

"Sir... I’m sorry! There’s been a situation at the hospital..." There was some noise on Quigui Ge’s end.

As he was on the phone, a series of siren sounds resonated from the streets below the hotel.

"What’s going on?" Wei Tianyang asked.

"One of the test subjects has escaped," Quigui Ge said.

"Did it show any abilities?" Wei Tianyang was not angry, but somewhat pleased.

"Three heads and six arms," said Quigui Ge.

"Oh? What is he doing now?" Wei Tianyang asked with a smile.

"He says he wants revenge and is currently destroying the hospital wildly. I’ve already contacted the mayor; they’ve sent in special forces," Quigui Ge said.

"Don’t let him get away, hold him off, I’ll be right there," Wei Tianyang said.

Great, three heads and six arms... haha!

Wei Tianyang clenched his left fist and punched it into his right palm with a smack. This live food still had some use for humans, it’s just that not everyone could grow into a complete form.

He put on his jacket and flew out of the window he had just opened.

In Etolia, he no longer needed to hide himself; he could fly however he wanted. Even if people saw him flying at low altitude, he didn’t care at all, as almost the whole country knew he was here.

They adored him, respected him, saw him as a deity, even though these tens of millions of citizens were not his clan. Wei Tianyang hadn’t done much for this country, but his mere existence had already brought tangible benefits to Etolia.

That hospital was outside Felda City. While flying in the sky, Wei Tianyang easily spotted a black column of smoke rising from a grey-green plot of land in the distance.

He dived down and saw Quigui Ge and the bodyguards had arranged four SUVs in a line, aiming their automatic rifles at the hospital.

Landing on the ground, he looked at the hospital, which was nearly half-destroyed, his four red eyes capturing heat sources, seeking the trail of the test subject.

At that moment, part of the hospital’s outer wall crumbled, and a dark figure crawled out of the hole.

Immediately, the bodyguards behind him fired.

"Hold your fire! Hold your fire!" Quigui Ge yelled.

Wei Tianyang waved his hand, and the hot bullets hung in the air before dropping to the ground.

"Don’t damage my test subject," he said in a low voice, turning back.

At this time, the small figure slowly stood up, and amid the flames, two arms stretched out from each side of his back, and three heads—not like Wei Tianyang had imagined hanging around his neck, but one growing out of his chest, one on his neck, and another head with a face to the side, using the right eye to look forward, appeared.

That small figure... looked a bit familiar.

Wei Tianyang remembered, wasn’t that the child he had spoken to?

"Even now! You still have a chance to repent!" Wei Tianyang shouted towards the direction of the hospital.

His four pupils looked at the hospital, searching for the figures of the scientific researchers, but sadly, they had all been killed.

"Quigui Ge, has research data been backed up?" he asked, turning around.

Quigui Ge was behind a car door, setting up his gun, and said, "He destroyed the central server, but the data has been transmitted. Yaha had prepared a backup plan."

"Understood, then there’s no need to leave any survivors," Wei Tianyang said.

He turned to look at the child, but the latter, overestimating his own strength, charged at him.

The power was slightly excessive and utterly meaningless, as such destructive force was far less than that of a missile.

Wei Tianyang effortlessly caught the rushing youth and pinned him to the ground.

Observing him from such a close distance, the two skulls on the youth’s chest and back seemed to be synchronized with the one on his neck in terms of expression and gaze.

The skull on his back had a short neck, which seemed to branch off from the spine.

Wei Tianyang pinned him to the ground and extended his Bone Knife with his right hand.

Just then, the youth suddenly said, "You lied to me."

Wei Tianyang was taken aback.

The youth continued, "I’ve become a monster because of you. My parents are dead too, dissected by doctors... why did you do this?"

Looking at the youth, Wei Tianyang felt, for a moment, as if he were stepping on his 16-year-old self.

Suddenly, the youth broke free of Wei Tianyang’s hold, flipping him onto the ground, and six fists came flying at him.

Wei Tianyang did not resist; the punches, like cotton, hit his face, splattering blood, and he heard the sound of the youth’s finger bones breaking.

The youth’s six fists rained down like drops of water, pummeling his own three pairs of hands bloody, realizing that he could not injure Wei Tianyang, yet his actions did not stop as he cried out and swung his fists.

Wei Tianyang pushed him, sending the youth flying forty or fifty meters away.

His eyes emitting a red glow, he saw the youth clumsily get up and run toward the woods behind the hospital.

"Sir, he’s running away!" Quigui Ge said.

Wei Tianyang waved his hand, signaling his bodyguards not to shoot.

He watched the young man’s retreating figure and called out loudly, "Remember my name, remember my face! When you’re ready... come and seek revenge on me!"

As night fell...

Wei Tianyang sat at the desk, illuminated by a single desk lamp.

The warm orange light shone on one side of his face, leaving the other half in darkness.

He sat for a long time, feeling a voice deep within him making noise.

A pair of goat hooves abruptly landed on the desk.

Baphomet, like a person, stood erect on his goat body, balancing on two hind hooves with two front hooves pressing on the table, gazing down at him with a proud goat head.

"I already know, Horned One. You are caught in a contradiction," Baphomet communicated telepathically.

"My past has caught up with me," Wei Tianyang said.

"You don’t need to know what your past was. You think it has caught up with you, but in reality, you’re just troubling yourself needlessly," Baphomet said.

"Am I becoming... what I swore to destroy?" Wei Tianyang slowly lifted his head to look at the black goat.

Baphomet’s horizontal pupils showed no expression; it just looked at Wei Tianyang, silent and unresponsive.

"No... the price... the price must be paid," Wei Tianyang shook his head.

"A part of you is hindering you, the human dregs. Horned One, you’re just one step away from becoming what you must be. Recognize yourself, understand what you are," Baphomet said.

"I will challenge the stars!" Wei Tianyang proclaimed.

"With your current stature, you are not yet capable; a mortal doomed to die cannot become a king," Baphomet said.

"I am not a mortal doomed to die! I can feel that I have already..." Wei Tianyang cut off, realizing something.

The unspoken sentence was, "I am no longer human."

"Leave Him, Wei Tianyang, leave Him. I am not speaking to Him, but to you. You, a mortal who is doomed yet did not die, the waste that remains on His body, Wei Tianyang, leave Him. Disappear along with your mother. There is no place for you in the grand narrative! Wei Tianyang, pass on. Now," Baphomet said while pressing his goat head closer to Wei Tianyang.

Wei Tianyang grabbed Baphomet’s horns and pressed them down onto the desk.

"Think clearly... Horned One, think clearly..." Baphomet communicated telepathically.

Wei Tianyang glared with eyes wide, but eventually, he let go of the horns.
