I Am Extraordinary Alone
Chapter 493 - 491: Come See Me

Chapter 493: Chapter 491: Come See Me

Wei Tianyang sent away the two councilmen, then returned to his room.

He didn’t convert those two into his clan because they were worthless.

A President could control an organization, influencing the decisions of millions of people, but what about a soldier? What was the point of controlling a mortal soldier?

It was meaningless.

Now, he had control over the entire upper echelons of Etolia’s government. Through Helena Mina, he could issue orders to them anytime, anywhere.

The creation of super soldiers required Heavenly Falling Objects, and Heisai State, which previously lacked the ability to exploit them, had seen its many Sheikhdoms selling these resources to other major powers.

Now, these resources belonged to Wei Tianyang. He had already started political maneuvers through Etolia’s President, initiating negotiations with other Sheikhdoms.

Small countries like Gambia stood no chance against Etolia, in terms of neither economic nor military strength. On the lands of Heisai State, such small countries were abundant. In the past, Etolia would not deign to make contact and negotiate with them.

But now, Wei Tianyang wanted to use Etolia’s shell to unify the entire Heisai State!

Power was the reason kings were made, and Bunub was his spokesman. The Heavenly Falling Objects of Heisai State, from now on, were no longer commodities with a clear price tag; they were his personal assets.

As for Johnny, Wei Tianyang had already heard about him before—a terrorist who trafficked in Black Medicine. Whether or not he was eliminated didn’t affect Wei Tianyang’s plans.

The planet wouldn’t be without war just because it was missing one Johnny.

Unless it was a danger that could lead to massive population extinction, he was too lazy to take action himself.

The council’s military would naturally take care of these issues. Moreover, the fact that Johnny could stir up wars simply meant that the warring sides had wanted to fight in the first place. Flies flock to rotten eggs; this was an eternal truth. The adults needed to bear their own costs and not come crying for help after they failed.

And those previous businessmen, writers, technicians, and other civilians who formed the secret society, with those original eight members, had grown into a sizable group. Those who had returned to their homeland were already navigating between political and business circles, pushing for the international sharing of Black Medicine technology.

But Wei Tianyang had now changed his plans, so they were no longer important. For the time being, he let Helena Mina pass on the orders to stay dormant and observe. If he had other ideas later, he would activate them then.

The advantage of the clan was their obedience and absolute loyalty. Although they lacked superpowers and couldn’t form an effective combat force, he didn’t need that now.

The only concern was that Wei Tianyang himself didn’t quite understand the ability to convert clan members. What would the clan ultimately become? He had no idea.

Helena Mina had already become more than 30 years younger, although others showed no sign of this. As time went on as clan members, they grew more and more fanatical. The way Helena Mina looked at him now could no longer be described as recognition and worship. It was almost with a passion for self-destruction and sacrifice, as if she were willing to die for him, a fervor that made him uncomfortable.

Wei Tianyang considered this fanaticism a flaw. If, after a long time, they really did take actions akin to martyrdom, then preserving their will and merely implanting a mark would be like injecting them with a slow-acting soul poison, leading them to self-destruction.

Was there no way... to simply make them believe in him without changing any aspect of their personality?

He sat at his desk, troubled by this, when a man penetrated the door and entered his room.

The man was a corpse, dressed in a black combat suit, but unarmed, with a fatal wound in his chest.

Wei Tianyang said, "You’ve got nerve."

The man knelt on one knee before him, respectfully saying, "I am but a messenger."

"I haven’t dealt with dead men for a long time," Wei Tianyang said.

"My master wishes to meet with you... at his place," the messenger said.

"Your master requests me to leave the hotel and visit his turf to see him?" Wei Tianyang smiled.

The messenger was somewhat fearful. He knew the statement held ambiguity that could displease Wei Tianyang, so he hurriedly said, "Perhaps you already know... my master is being watched; it’s inconvenient for him to show himself."

"Johnny?" Wei Tianyang said.

"You could say that, but the one controlling me isn’t Johnny. Johnny is my master’s boss," the messenger said.

"You should know that no matter how you answer, you won’t be going back, right?" Wei Tianyang said.

"I... I just came to..." the messenger trembled.

"The rule of the 21st floor, kid, you’ve overstepped your bounds," Wei Tianyang said.

He opened his palm, and instantly the messenger was absorbed into his right arm.

Wei Tianyang closed his eyes, carefully discerning the heartbeats and words of the world, he located the controller of this deceased one.

In an old sedan in the alley behind the hotel.

"If Johnny wants to see me, come to the hotel, but be prepared for a one-way journey. If he dares, let him come."

Wei Tianyang left these words in that person’s mind.

Done with this, he stood up and walked to the window, overlooking the street below.

Baphomet and Yaha had already returned from their stroll, whereas Helena Mina was in Rada Gan’s office, familiarizing herself with the many administrative duties of the hotel.

The remainder of the day was peaceful, but the next day, the hotel welcomed an uninvited guest.

Johnny Bloodface swaggered into the hotel, dressed in a black off-shoulder jacket, long hair, and his beard made him look like a billy goat.

He wore sunglasses, a cigar clamped in his mouth, and when he reached the lobby, a waiter came forward requesting him to put out the cigar.

"It is unwise to compel a guest at the height of enjoyment to act against his will," he laughed.

"But, out of respect for Him," Johnny said, removing the cigar and pressing it directly onto the waiter’s clothes.

Sizzling...

After a couple of twists, the cigar was extinguished, but it left a black, charred hole in the waiter’s black suit.

He put away the cigar, then, patting the waiter’s collar, said, "I want to see the real boss here, not the proprietor, not the manager, but the one who makes you willing to kneel and bow your heads."

The waiter smiled and said, "I roughly... know who you are."

The previous night, Wei Tianyang had instructed Helena Mina to inform the staff that a presumptuous fool might soon come looking for him; they were to send him up.

Johnny had thought the waiter would get angry, now, he looked around and realized all the waiters were smiling at him, which irked him greatly.

"Is this some arrangement of His? Or is it your spontaneous action?" Johnny asked.

At that moment, he suddenly fell to the ground in pain, clutching his head.

He heard in his mind, Wei Tianyang murmuring, "Come up, to the 21st floor. Let me see what kind of stuff you’re made of that makes the council so troubled. Hurry up, little dog, follow my command, enter the elevator with your left foot first, or I’ll dismantle you."
